January 9th, 2010
Air Canada Centre
Toronto, ON
An NLCW limo pulls in to the back of the arena, coming to a stop near the back entrances as the camera crew begins to move in close. There's a pause as the limo comes to a full stop, the people inside getting their things together. The front door of the limo opens as the driver steps out, going around to the other side of the limo hidden from the camera. As he opens the door on that side, the door in front of the camera opens... and as it does, a familiar figure steps out from inside it.
Dominic Pericolo, gym bag slung over his shoulder, stares sadly out at the building in front of him. On the other side of the limo, the driver lets out Dominic's wife, Suki Pericolo, with their child Ehno in her arms, looking excitedly around the parkinglot.
Ehno Pericolo: Mommy, where are we, mommy?
The driver closes the door behind them. Suki makes her way around the limo with Ehno, smiling at him as Dominic turns to face them, the sad smile on his face brightening a little as he watches them come up to him.
Suki Pericolo: We're going to see daddy fight again, sweety... isn't that exciting?
Ehno smiles broadly, clapping his hands as Dominic laughs lightly, holding out his hands to take Ehno from his mother's arms, pulling his son close in a hug. Suki watches them with her own big smile, Dominic giving her a loving glance as he holds his son close.
Ehno Pericolo: Daddy's gonna win!
Dominic laughs, shaking his head and pulling his son back, crouching to let him down and holding his hand as he stands back up, looking down at him.
Dominic Pericolo: I hope so, kiddo... but it's gonna be close. No matter what, though... tonight is going to be special for me. Win, lose... I don't mind, I just... I just want to say goodbye.
Ehno Pericolo: Goodbye? Why goodbye, daddy?
He smiles, turning to the building once again as Suki comes over to take Ehno's other hand, the two parents walking to the building with their son, ready for the night ahead of them.
Dominic Pericolo: Because, Ehno... after this, daddy won't be fighting anymore. This place is very special to daddy, and... tonight is the last night it's going to be here anymore.
The camera watches as the Pericolo family enters the building, still talking with each other. There's a pause as the back entrance closes, the NLCW logo proudly displayed across it, before we fade from the scene.

At ringside, Aaron Jennings and Bryan Terwilliger are seated at the announce table.
Aaron Jennings: After six long, illustrious years... this is the final episode of NLCW Avulsion!
Bryan Terwilliger: We've had quite a run!
AJ: Thank you for welcoming us into your homes once again. I am Aaron Jennings and with me as always is Bryan Terwilliger!
BT: It's difficult to describe the emotions that all of us are feeling here tonight. There's sadness yes, but there's also an overwhelming sense of pride. No Limits Championship Wrestling has been home to all of us for so long and tonight.... tonight we're going to end things with a bang.
AJ: Both NLCW Championships will be on the line here tonight! Cole Marr defends his newly-won NLCW North American Championship against NLCW Hall of Famer Dazz!
BT: And in the final match in NLCW history... a dream match we've been waiting for for years: Rick Majors defends his NLCW Undisputed Championship against Dominic Pericolo!
AJ: Tonight is going to be an outstanding night everyone. We're going to end this with...
Suddenly the lights in the building go out.
The sound of static fills the arena. The static continues crackling throughout the speakers. It gets louder. And louder. It starts to break up a bit, becoming more and more disjointed, more and more fractured. Hisses and pops fill the static now, making it almost unbearable to listen to.
AJ: No way...
BT: Is it?
The static gets louder and louder and louder. It finally reaches a breaking point and stops suddenly.
Quickly filling the silence is a loud burst of guitars.
The crowd explodes.
A spotlight shines on the entrance.
The drum beat pounds as the guitars get louder.
As the extra guitars kick in on the song, Rick Majors appears in the entrance way, the spotlight directly on him and no one else.
AJ: It's Rick Majors!
BT: But is it "The Impact?"
Majors pauses in the entrance way for a moment, looking out toward the crowd. He looks down at the ground for a moment as the Toronto crowd cheers him on.
["I’ll tell you now you can’t win this"]
Majors stands at the top of the ramp. He slowly looks up. His clothing is no longer dirty and disheveled. He's wearing blue jeans and a black NLCW t-shirt. His hair is still quite long and he still sports a thick beard.
["'Cause you're way too slow"]
Majors slowly starts to walk down the ramp.
["I’ll tell you now I’m gonna take this"]
Majors climbs the ring steps and pauses. He turns toward the crowd, holding onto the ring ropes with his right hand.
["Did you come here to watch me, watch me burn!?"]
AJ: He looks a bit better.
BT: That's true. His appearance is less sloppy.
AJ: But you have to wonder how he feels.
Majors enters the ring. He slowly looks up at the crowd.
LW: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the NLCW Undisputed World Champion: Rick Majors!
Majors circles around the ring, once again looking down at the mat. Lucinda hands him a microphone that he cautiously accepts. He circles around a bit more before starting to speak.
Rick Majors: I....
Majors pauses to collect his thoughts.
Rick Majors: I.... I.... I came back to the NLCW in search of a home. My personal life was ruined. You... you... you saw me out here... screaming and crying and inflicting..... inflicting....
He looks down once again. He pauses briefly before continuing.
Rick Majors: Inflicting pain. I hurt... I hurt those who were my friends. I hurt... I hurt those who had supported me in the past... I.... my world... my world was falling apart around me. And I.... and I.... I needed to go somewhere where I felt safe. A place where I felt like I belonged. I needed a home....
Majors' voice trails off for a second and he looks down. The crowd starts to cheer. Majors looks up at his hometown crowd. They slowly start to chant:
MAJORS! MAJORS! MAJORS!
AJ: This is his hometown. And his hometown fans are welcoming him here tonight.
Rick Majors: And.... and... and I found a home.
The crowd explodes.
Rick Majors: It wasn't.... it wasn't the same place I had left. I had fewer friends... I received some strange looks when I walked through the halls but.... but... but it was still home. The locker room... the atmosphere.... the professionalism of the staff and the dedication of the wrestlers.... The NLCW has always been my home.
NO LIM-ITS! NO LIM-ITS! NO LIM-ITS!
Rick Majors: And the NLCW will always be my home. You know... I've done... I've done some terrible things over the past few months here... I've attacked innocent people... I've disrupted television shows... I've threatened staff members and..... I've hurt people. I've hurt friends.
AJ: You know he's thinking about Chris Champion right now.
BT: And you can see the guilt in his eyes as he speaks. You can feel the regret.
Majors looks down once again.
Rick Majors: But that... all of that.... all of that came from a place.... a dark place. It came from a place of pain. And... and that doesn't make it okay. Nothing makes it okay. But in my mind... in my mind I... I have to understand that what I did came from a terrible place inside of me, and I have to learn that no matter what happens from here on out... I have to never allow myself to act like that again.
Majors starts to circle around the ring.
Rick Majors: I want this place to be my home forever. Even though... even though this is the last show... and the company is shutting down... I need to leave this place with a good impression. I need to know that my actions over the past few months have not destroyed my relationship with the greatest wrestling organization on earth. And... standing out here tonight... it doesn't feel like I'm lost. It doesn't feel like I have ruined everything... it doesn't feel like my world is falling apart any longer. My personal life is still destroyed but.... but the NLCW has given me a light. It has given me hope. This old company, in its dying days, gave me the strength to carry on. It let me see that I could still live my life, and I could still be successful, despite everything that has happened to me. And for that... I thank the NLCW. And... and I thank all of you.
The crowd explodes again.
THANK YOU MAJORS! *clap clap clapclapclap*
THANK YOU MAJORS! *clap clap clapclapclap*
THANK YOU MAJORS! *clap clap clapclapclap*
Rick Majors: No. No. Don't thank me. Don't..... Thank the NLCW. Thank No Limits Championship Wrestling for everything it has given us over the past six years.
NO LIM-ITS! NO LIM-ITS! NO LIM-ITS!
AJ: We definitely don't condone Majors' actions over the past few months but it's impossible to deny how much he has meant to this company.
BT: And how much this company means to him. It seems like whenever we needed him Rick Majors was there to lead the NLCW through its darkest days.
Rick Majors: And so... I am not here tonight to call myself a hero. I am not here to gloat about this title on my shoulder. I have seen my world collapse. I have seen this industry for what it really is. I know how cruel the world can truly be sometimes. But tonight.... tonight I don't feel that way. Tonight the NLCW is closing. And tonight I am here to pay my respects to a company that may not have been perfect... but a company that has given us all a great deal. This is No Limits Championship Wrestling. This is my home. And tonight.... tonight I want to honour it. I want to honour you, the fans that have supported us so well over the past six years. And I want to honour everyone backstage. The crew. The staff. And my fellow wrestlers. Everyone. Thank you.
The crowd cheers.
Rick Majors: I first walked into the NLCW six years ago. And on that very first Avulsion I defeated Jack Frost to win the NLCW Cruiserweight Championship. I was the first ever Cruiserweight Champion and I was the last ever Cruiserweight Champion.
Another pop from the crowd.
Rick Majors: I was the first ever Undisputed World Champion and.... and.... it would be an absolute honour to be the final champion in this company's history. Dominic Pericolo. You and I have never faced off one-on-one. You... you are a man that I respect. You are a man that has had a very similar career to my own. You love the NLCW just as much as I do. And Dom.... tonight I am going to try to make things right. I've been living my life the wrong way for quite a while now but tonight.... tonight with your help I am going to do the right thing. You and I are going to close this company the way it should be closed: with an excellent wrestling match. I know you want to honour the NLCW as well and tonight is our chance Dom.... our final chance.
AJ: That is going to be quite the match.
BT: Perhaps no two men care more for the legacy and the spirit of the NLCW than Rick Majors and Dominic Pericolo.
Rick Majors: I'm out here tonight not just for myself. I'm here for Chris Champion. And Sean Galen. And Dazz. And Bucky Skyler. And Dillon Durst and Chris Logan and Ethan Andrews and Frank Merritt and Tyler Scott and Shane Perry. I am here for Isaac Reynolds and Jason Stylez and Rob Thorn. For Alex Taylor and Matt Arren and Phil Castle. For Priest and Kindred London and Carmine Vestieri. For Souless and The Lokian and Alex Jay and Scarlett Williams and Derrick Lambert. I am here to honour each and every wrestler that ever competed in this company. It is their blood and their sweat and their tears that Dominic Pericolo and I will honour tonight.
The crowd rises to their feet to applaud the NLCW's history.
Rick Majors: And I am here for you.
Majors looks out at the crowd.
Rick Majors: Six years ago when Mark Steele started this company we had no idea what it would become. There were only a few of us on the roster. We didn't have a lot of money and we definitely weren't well known. But we gave it our all. We gave it everything we had. And we grew. Our roster wasn't always the biggest, or the most experienced, but it was always - ALWAYS - the hardest working. And that spirit lives inside me tonight. I'm not the strongest guy in this building. I never have been. I'm not the most talented or the fastest and I'm definitely not the youngest. But I've got the spirit. I've got the spirit of No Limits Championship Wrestling. And that spirit will not die. Ever.
The crowd cheers.
NO LIM-ITS! NO LIM-ITS! NO LIM-ITS!
Rick Majors: Thank you everyone. Thank you for the love... and the respect... and thank you for the chance to come out here each and every week and perform for you. Without all of you there is no NLCW. Without all of you there is no Rick Majors. This company and its fans mean the world to me. And tonight I hope that I can put on a match worthy of being the final match in NLCW history. I hope I can put on a match worthy of your respect and your love. I hope I can put on a match that everyone in the back will be proud of. And, when we close the final chapter on the NLCW later tonight, I hope that we do so with a bang. This company deserves it. Thank you. Au Revoir.
"Burn" plays once again as Rick Majors makes his way up out of the ring and up the ramp. He pauses at the top of the ramp and turns back to face the crowd. There are tears in his eyes as he looks out at the NLCW faithful. He then slowly turns away and walks through the curtain.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
The lights in the building suddenly shut down, leaving everybody in the arena in pitch black darkness, unable to see their hands in front of their faces. Flashes of white appear amidst the darkness as cameras attempt to get a glimpse of whatever might be happening in the dark. Eventually multi-coloured lights begin to flash in shades of red, gold, blue and green all around the building and on the stage while the beginnings of the Metallica song “Broken, Beat & Scarred” begins to play, pounding guitars and bass while a steady and rhythmic drum beat helps keep it chugging along.
Fans stare at the stage area, watching to maybe catch a glimpse of what could be happening or whom this might herald the appearance of, impatience and excitement building along with the tension felt in the atmosphere.
Pyrotechnics explode all around the giant screen which causes a pair of rockets housed in the very top middle of the metal holding the screen in place to shoot down, one to the left and another to the right corner of the stage, exploding upon impact and causing separate walls of explosive white and gold pyro to move along the front of the stage area until it meets at the top of the ramp directly in the middle.
You rise, you fall, you’re down then you rise again
What don’t kill ya make ya more strong
You rise, you fall, you’re down then you rise again
What don’t kill ya make ya more strong
The huge wall of pyrotechnics finally subsides and shows Dazz standing near the top of the ramp, his arms outstretched to either side of him while he faces towards the entrance, his back to the ring and legs slightly parted.
Rise, fall, down, rise again
What don’t kill ya make ya more strong
Rise, fall, down, rise again
What don’t kill ya make ya more strong
Through black days
Through black nights
Through pitch black insights
He lowers his arms and spins on his heel to face the ring, looking around him at the fans cheering for him as he wears his usual black leather pants and covering his torso with one of his t-shirts. The lights continue to flash in varying colours as he begins his descent down the ramp, smiling at the fans as they stretch their hands toward him hoping to feel his touch against their skin, happily obliging and slapping hands with them on either side as he strides toward the ring while the chorus of the song begins.
Breaking your teeth on the hard life coming
(Show…your….scars)
Cutting your feet on the hard earth running
(Show…your….scars)
Breaking your life, broken, beat and scarred
But we die hard
LW: Making his way to the ring, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 226 pounds, he is a former NLCW World Heavyweight champion, a former NLCW Undisputed champion, a 2006 NLCW Hall of Fame inductee........DAZZ!!!
Once at the bottom of the ramp he stares ahead of himself, his smile from moments ago quickly changing into an expression of pure focus, staring into the place which would soon become his battlefield while the white spotlight stalks him still, camera flashes taking place all around the stands of the building as fans attempt to take a snapshot forever of his entrance in case this heralds a moment that will stand the test of time forever as a piece of professional wrestling history.
Dazz turns to his right and begins to walk towards the protective barrier, the fans standing behind it becoming excited and waving their signs, attempting to touch him as he holds out his hand for the fans to feel the warmth, blood pumping through his veins while he walks along the outside of the ring, being followed by that same spotlight, making his way past the announce table and around to the other side of the ring.
After pausing in front of the steel steps momentarily to gather his thoughts, Dazz plants a foot on them, his ascent slow and thoughtful and without a misstep. His left hand reaches and grips the steel post directly at the top of the short metal staircase, using it to both hold his balance and help himself as he places first one foot and then the other on the ring apron.
The dawn, the death, the fight to the final breath
What don’t kill ya make ya more strong
The dawn, the death, the fight to the final breath
What don’t kill ya make ya more strong
During this repeat of the chorus, Dazz places his hands on the middle rope, raising a leg over it to the inside of the ring and climbing between the rubber coated steel ring ropes, finally emerging in what is known traditionally as the squared circle. He walks towards the very middle, the spotlight remaining on him as he spins around in one spot, hands and arms outstretched to his sides yet again as he makes a perfect 360 degree cycle before then walking towards a corner of the ring, climbing onto the second turnbuckle then raising his closed fists high above his head slightly arched with his arms and shoulders forming a wide U shape, allowing the fans a chance to glimpse him in this pose for several moments until he lowers his arms and climbs off the turnbuckle, the spotlight and flashing lights disappearing as the building’s house lights and those focused on the ring especially to give the usual visual quality seen on television, giving everybody in attendance and at home the ability to see every move and facial expression.
AJ: It's been a while since we saw this man, the Messiah of Metal last appearing in an NLCW ring for the battle royal at Conflicting Values: 1NE last summer.
BT: Before that though, he left last February as the Undisputed, American AND Television champion, what a feat for a man who comfortably sits amongst NLCW's elite.
AJ: He could even be at the very pinnacle of this company next to the likes of Ethan Andrews and Rick Majors.
The fans begin to chant simultaneous cries of "DAZZ" and "WELCOME BACK" as he stands in the middle of it all, soaking up the atmosphere and energy before walking towards the ropes and reaching for a microphone, smiling and winking at Lucinda Welch.
Dazz: It's great to be back NLCW!
More cheers as everybody is on their feet, eventually becoming silent as he prepares to speak to them all, looking around and seeming to try not to get too emotional.
Dazz: Wow.....what can I say? I've always been able to count on you fans for an amazing reception like that and you didn't disappoint tonight, especially since, well.....NLCW is at an end.
Don't worry though because I'm pretty sure tonight will be a special night, those of us who came back just to experience this and give you the fans a night to remember and a reason to hold NLCW so dear. I know, I know, I've been outspoken about this company, I've said a lot of negative things about it but I've also said some positive things and honestly, if it wasn't for you guys cheering and creating such an amazing atmosphere, everything I did to help this company grow and flourish would have been for nothing.
Every championship I won wasn't just for my own career but a reminder that putting my best out here in this very ring and earning.....that's right, EARNING championships.....it was to ensure every one of you got the best matches I could possibly give as an athlete.
Tonight I have yet another opportunity at yet another championship when I take on Cole Marr for the North American title but honestly? I'm here for one thing and one thing only. To remember this company and everybody in it that helped shape not just my own career but each other's by trying to better each other's matches.
Guys like Ethan Andrews and my half brother Jason Stylez along with Rick Majors and Justice, Greg Hetrick and Big Weaze right at the very beginning all the way to the latest stars like Cole Marr, Carmine Vestieri, Jean Trick. From beginning to end there were people who time and time again revolutionised what NLCW was all about. That's why.....
Josey Scott's voice booms throughout the arena . .
Ladies and Gentlemen please . .
BT: OH MY GOD!!
AJ: Here he comes . . . for the first time in what seems like forever, for the final time on Avulsion, the return of Ethan Andrews!
. . wouldya bring your attention to me . . . . for a feast for your eyes to see . . an explosion of catastrophe . . like nothing you've ever seen before . .
BT: This should be very interesting, for the simple fact that Ethan has been out of the game for a very long time, longer even than Dazz.
Watch closely as I open this door, your jaws will be on the floor . . after this you'll be begging for more . . .
The crowd continues to cheer for Ethan as searchlights continue to scan the crowd.
Welcome to the show. . . Please come inside . . Ladies and Gentlemen . .
BOOM . .
The searchlights all focus on the entrance curtain as Ethan Andrews is standing there, a satisfied smirk on his face and the crowd pops . .
AJ: There he is . .
BT: The incomparable Ethan Andrews.
. . DO YOU WANT IT? . . . BOOM . . . DO YOU NEED IT? . . . BOOM . . . LET ME HEAR IT!!! . . Ladies and Gentlemen . .
Ethan struts down to the ring, nodding all the way down.
. . BOOM . . DO YOU WANT IT? . . . BOOM . . . DO YOU NEED IT? . . . BOOM . . . LET ME HEAR IT!!! . . Ladies and Gentlemen . .
LW: Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, weighing in tonight at 267 pounds, he is a former NLCW World Heavyweight Champion, AND a 2005 NLCW Hall of Fame Inductee, he is Untouchable, he is ETHAN ANDREWS!!!
Ethan climbs into the ring and hops onto the second turnbuckle, soaking in the cheers and boos of the crowd. He hops back off and turns to face Dazz, the two of them with huge grins as the music ends and Ethan moves closer towards his old foe, the two sharing an embrace despite the brutal beatings they gave each other over the years.
The fans cheer this moment as Ethan walks away to get a microphone of his own, patting it to make sure it works before fixing his gaze on the Messiah of Metal, the fans distracting them both with chants of "ETHAN" that cause both men in the ring to look around for a few seconds.
Ethan Andrews: You know you couldn't have the final Avulsion, without me showing up . . . and I couldn't think of a better person to interrupt then you Dazz.
He laughs as the fans roar in approval, Dazz also chuckling.
Dazz: Well man, it's never been the same without you around even if you still owe me a win against you.
Ethan smirks at Dazz, eventually creeping into a smile.
Ethan Andrews: Well pal, you know we aren't 21 anymore . . and in case your eyesight is going.
Ethan brushes his hair behind his ear revealing a patch of gray hair on his temples.
Ethan Andrews: I'm definitely not 21 anymore, and no one wants to see "Age in a Cage 3".
The crowd erupts . . and Ethan starts to laugh.
Ethan Andrews: Or maybe they do.
The crowd continues to cheer as Ethan begins to casually pace.
Ethan Andrews: You know Dazz, there's a lot of water under the bridge between us, and I just came out here tonight to address the NLCW fans and you, and simply say . . .
Ethan extends his hand in friendship
Ethan Andrews: . . . It has truly been a pleasure . .
Dazz grins and shakes Ethan's hand, the two showing a mutual respect for each other as the fans watch and cheer them on.
AJ: Truly wonderful moment here.
BT: They've been through it all together in NLCW and tonight, they've put it all behind them. Why have I got an image of them sharing cocktails after the show?
Ethan and Dazz raise each other's wrists into the air, posing for photographs inside the ring. Suddenly, air raid sirens begin their cries of warning for a few moments before the sound of marching feet emerges from behind them.
AJ: No way.
BT: Wow.
Corey Taylor begins his rhetoric while the arena is draped in darkness.
This is the year where hope fails you
The test subjects run the experiments
And the bastard you know, is the hero you hate
But cohesion is possible if we try
Theres no reason, theres no lesson
No time like the present, I'm telling you right now
What have you got to lose, what have you got to lose
Except your soul... Just listen!
A cacophony of guitars and drums kick in and the arena explodes into light. Frank is standing on the entrance ramp with a murderous glare scanning the crowd.
I fight for the unconventional
My right, and its unconditional
I can only, be as real as I can
The disadvantage is
I never knew the plan
This isn't just the way to be a martyr
I can't, walk alone any longer
I fight, for the ones who can't fight
And if I lose, at least I tried
Frank has begun his trek to the ring, his glare now trained on the ring until he is at ringside when he then leaps onto the apron in a single bound.
We-we are the new diabolic
We-we are the bitter bucolic
If I have to give my life you can have it
We-we are the pulse of the maggots
Frank Merritt walks toward the center of the ring, glaring at Dazz and Andrews.
AJ: These guys have quite a history together.
BT: You're right about that and... OHHHH!
Merrit suddenly grabs Dazz and Andrews around their throats. He holds one man in each hand and start to choke the life out of them.
AJ: Look at that power!
Suddenly Ethan Andrews swings his leg forward, kicking Merritt in the groin! Dazz now breaks free and he drives his elbow into Merritt's back as he leans over. Andrews now grabs him in a headlock and...
AJ: Northern Lights OUT!!!!!
BT: Boom!
Merritt quickly rolls out of the ring as Dazz and Andrews catch their breaths. Merritt gets to his feet and he stands on the outside, glaring at Andrews as Avulsion slides into a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for our first match of the evening.
BT: The NLCW North American Championship is on the line!
AJ: Dazz is already in the ring, as you've seen. And now here comes his opponent.
The arena lights dim as "If I was your Vampire" begins to play over the PA as and explosion of red erupts the stage.
LW: And his opponent, from Covington, Louisiana - weighing in a 200 pounds he is the NLCW North American Champion: COLE MARR!
In the mist we see Cole Marr walk out onto the ramp. Cole tilts his head to the left slightly as he runs his right hand along his head staring in front of him at the crowd. Cole slowly makes his way down the ramp refusing to shake hands with the fans as he makes his way down the ramp climbing into the ring. Cole steps through the ropes and walks across the ring until he climbs onto the middle turnbuckle and lowers his head. Cole raises his head up spraying out a colored mist towards the crowd before jumping off the turnbuckle as he turns back towards the ring and waits for the bell.

NLCW North American Championship
Cole Marr © VS. Dazz
Standard Rules
BT: That was quite the match.
AJ: You know Bryan, the closure of the NLCW is sad for all of us, but I really regret that I won't get to see young talent like Cole Marr develop further here.
BT: You're right AJ. Competitors like Cole Marr and Carmine Vestieri are definitely the future of wrestling. It's just unfortunate that they won't be building that future in the NLCW.
AJ: But, in the present, Cole Marr is going to face off against Dazz with the North American Championship on the line.
The referee holds the championship in the air as the bell rings.

COMMERCIAL BREAK
The scene changes. The backstage hallways, a frantic place where backstage workers and staff alike scramble to get their jobs done in the fastest, most efficient manner possible. They are busy making this show the greatest show possible, doing their jobs better than they ever have before... all for the love of the NLCW. All for the respect they have for its final show. A single figure makes his way through this organized chaos, his eyes focused on the ground in front of him. His heart weighs heavy from the significance of the night... and it's clear that the symbolism of it all is beginning to get to him.
Dominic Pericolo lifts his head. Another figure steps into view. The figure of his opponent for the final match in NLCW history. The newly crowned NLCW World Champion.
The two men stare, their eyes never moving from the other as the fans in the arena begin frantically cheering them on, seeing two of NLCW's greatest icons standing before one another... preparing to face off for the first, and final, time. The mutual friendship the two shared with Chris Champion. The actions of Slamfest linking these two men into this match tonight. The sheer amount of work they had put into the NLCW throughout their entire careers.
Two men who had sacrificed more, and had lived the motto of the NLCW more, than anyone else in the history of the company. Two men who absolutely personified the NLCW for its callig cry of "No Limits"... and they were only moments away from their finale.
Rick Majors: Dominic, I...
The champion begins to speak, his voice still unsteady. Uncertain. For months, Rick Majors has suffered his personal hell... but tonight, with everything perfectly coming together, he has began his own efforts to make things right on his own. He searches for the words for a moment, before a sigh escapes Dominic's lips, interrupting his train of thought. With a small, sad smile... Dominic reaches up, and places his hand on Rick's shoulder.
Dominic Pericolo: Rick, it's alright. You... you've been hurting, out of your mind, but tonight... you're doing something I thought I'd have to be trusted to do in the end.
Majors stares, confused, at the younger Dominic Pericolo. Dominic lifts his hand from Rick's shoulder and chuckles to himself, shaking his head as he glances to the right, to the large NLCW logos repeating and emblazoned across the hallway walls. A slight tear comes to Dominic's eye as he stares at the logo for a moment, before releasing a sigh and turning to Rick once again.
Dominic Pericolo: Rick... you never wanted to see this happen, or for Slamfest to end the way it did, you just... you've suffered, and now you're trying to make up for that. You're trying to end things right, Rick... and I'm going to go out there to help you do just that.
Majors studies the face of Dominic Pericolo for a moment. In his own state of mind, he's still uncertain of everything, of everyone... but he knows the sincerity in his challenger's words. Rick Majors has lived for the NLCW, he would die for it if he had to... and one of the few men around who would do just the same is Dominic Pericolo himself. Lifting his hand, Rick Majors locks eyes with Pericolo, offering him a sad smile of his own.
Rick Majors: It's an honor to finally face you, Dominic.
Dominic takes Majors' hand, returning the shake and nodding back in agreement, the fans in attendance roaring with cheers for the two men as chants of "NO LI-MITS!" begin to break out in the arena.
Dominic Pericolo: Likewise, Rick... let's give this place a send-off these people won't ever forget.
Rick Majors nods in agreement this time, as the camera focuses on the two legends shaking hands before it then turns its focus to one of the NLCW logos on the wall, zooming in close on the logo that has represented the company since its creation... the ever-familiar logo these fans have learned to love.
AJ: Rick Majors versus Dominic Pericolo, the final match of the NLCW... coming up next.
The scene begins to fade.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen.... this is it.
BT: The final match in No Limits Championship Wrestling history.
Dominic Pericolo is seen leaving his locker room. He starts to walk down the hallway toward the entrance way. NLCW staff members stand by walk him as he makes his way through the backstage area. On a split screen Rick Majors is seen standing in a different hallway. He is slowly stretching.
Pericolo continues to walk toward the entranceway. We then head to ringside for the main event.

The crowd murmurs to themselves, awaiting the coming main event as Lucinda Welch slowly steps into the ring, microphone in hand and a sad look on her face. She glances around at the fans, who immediately burst into cheers for the loyal NLCW ring announcer. She offers them a smile as she steps into the ring, taking a deep breath before bringing the microphone to her lips, her own voice shaking slightly to start off.
LW: Ladies... ladies and gentlemen, thank you. For all these years, for all your cheers, I... thank you so much for giving us here at the NLCW the opportunity to entertain you all for so long. We... we're going to miss you all very, very much.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
She smiles, wiping a tear from her eye as she turns to face the rampway, nodding her head solemnly.
LW: But... saying goodbye isn't what I'm out here for right now, that... that's going to be saved for these last two men, these last two legends of the NLCW... they're the ones coming out to say goodbye. Because, coming up, ladies and gentlemen... coming up is the main event of the evening!
The crowd erupts into cheers, as the lights begin to dim in preparation of the challenger's entrance. The big screen flickers to life with the NLCW's logo emblazoned across it, the crowd erupting into cheers as there's a long pause. Suddenly, for the first time since nearly the start of his NLCW career, the intro to "Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson kicks in! The crowd is absolutely livid, the first theme Dominic Pericolo ever used in the NLCW kicking in as the words "NO F*CKING LIMITS!" flashes across the screen.
LW: Coming to the ring at this time... the challenger!
REACH OUT, AND TOUCH FAITH!
The lights in the arena shut off and two silver strobe lights pointing directly to the rampway, the beat of the song building as smoke engulfs the rampway, until finally...
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
A massive explosion rocks the rampway as the entire arena is bathed in a silver light, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Already slowly picking up in tempo alongside of the music, the crowd begins to chant "DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!", smoke flooding into the entrance to the ramp, obscuring it from view. A figure can now faintly be seen through the smoke, making his way forward until he eventually steps through it, in his original ring-gear with an NLCW shirt and his head lowered.
LW: From Sacramento, California, he is a Two-Time NLCW World Champion! Weighing in at Two-Hundred and Seventy Pounds... DOMINIIIIIIIIIIC PERIIIIIICOOOOLOOOOO!
The crowd continues their chants, an aura seemingly surrounding the stage as the man simply stands there for a moment, the music still playing, before he lifts himself up completely, standing straight atop the rampway and thrusting an arm into the air.
Dominic Pericolo lets a confident roar escape his lungs, fireworks go off the sides of the stage and the smoke begins to fan out behind him.
AJ: This is IT! The main event, ladies and gentlemen... the final match for Dominic Pericolo and Rick Majors, and for the biggest prize of them all!
BT: Dominic was involved in a serious car accident months ago, but doctors have cleared him for tonight after making a near-full recovery... and though he'll be stepping into the ring tonight with several months worth of ring rust, you can bet he's going to put on a performance like never before!
A confident grin flashes across his face as Dominic stands before the fans all-too familiar to him, his arm lowering and his eyes fixing towards the ring, a place that has practically been a second home for him all his career. His expression falters slightly at the realization of the finality of tonight's match, but he shakes off the emotions plaguing him and begins to make his way down to that ring, keeping his stride quick and confident. Along the way, Dominic Pericolo holds his arms out to the side to slap hands with the ringside fans along the way, and the crowd just keeps on chanting.
"DO-MO NIC! DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!"
Circling the ring, Dominic makes his way around it slapping the hands of fans along the way.
Making his way up the steel steps, Dominic pauses to stare out at the fans, a look in his eyes showing the gratitude he has for them, the appreciation he holds for all they've done... Dominic simply nods his head and flashes yet another grin. Entering into the ring, Dominic walks across it towards the other corner, climbing up the corner and lifting a fist into the air for the cheering fans. He steps down off the turnbuckle as his music begins to fade, turning around and removing the NLCW shirt, throwing it out to the crowd with a sad smile before looking towards the rampway, immediately focusing himself on what was to come.
BT: Here it comes... the new-crowned champion, about to make his way out now...
The lights go out and the crowd rises to their feet once again.
AJ: You can feel the electricity in this building tonight folks!
The sound of static fills the arena. The static continues crackling throughout the speakers. It gets louder. And louder. It starts to break up a bit, becoming more and more disjointed, more and more fractured. Hisses and pops fill the static now, making it almost unbearable to listen to.
The static gets louder and louder and louder. It finally reaches a breaking point and stops suddenly. The crowd explodes.
Quickly filling the silence is a loud burst of guitars.
AJ: I can barely hear myself!
BT: What?
A spotlight shines on the entrance.
The drum beat pounds as the guitars get louder.
As the extra guitars kick in on the song, Rick Majors appears in the entrance way, the spotlight directly on him and no one else. Majors pauses in the entrance way for a moment, looking out towards the crowd.
["I’ll tell you now you can’t win this"]
Majors stands at the top of the ramp. The NLCW Undisputed World Championship is on his shoulder. He stands perfectly still, looking around the arena, taking in the crowd one last time.
["'Cause you're way too slow"]
He looks down at the floor and raises his hand up to his forehead. He shakes his head quickly, brushes his hair back and begins to walk down the ramp.
["I’ll tell you now I’m gonna take this"]
Majors climbs the ring steps and pauses. He turns toward the crowd, holding onto the ring ropes with his right hand.
MAJORS! MAJORS! MAJORS!
["Did you come here to watch me, watch me burn!?"]
Rick Majors slowly turns and he points toward the NLCW banner hanging above the ring. He stares at the banner for a moment, his right arm raised in the air pointing. The spotlight that is on Majors moves upward toward the rafters of the arena. It stops on the NLCW logo as the crowd explodes.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
Majors enters the ring. As he does the spotlight moves once again. This time it spins around the arena, illuminating the crowd. Majors looks out at the crowd and applauds them as they applaud him. Across the ring, Dominic joins the crowd in applause, nodding his head at his opponent. Majors then backs into the corner of the ring and leans against the turnbuckle. He once again places his head in his hand and stand there motionless.
LW: And his opponent, he is the NLCW Undisputed Champion of the World.... weighing in at 223 pounds, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... an NLCW Hall of Famer and the longest reigning champion in NLCW history: Rick Majors!
Upon hearing his name announced, Majors looks up. He walks toward the center of the ring and stand there waiting. Again he looks out toward the crowd before turning his eyes toward Dominic Pericolo. The referee walks over and he asks for the championship. Majors looks down at his shoulder. He then looks at Pericolo before once again looking out at the crowd. Majors takes the belt off of his shoulder and he slowly raises it high in the air. The spotlight returns to him and camera flashes pop around the arena. Majors then slowly hands the championship to the official. He lowers his head once again. The lights in the arena then come back on as Majors again backs into the corner. He is seen visibly sighing as he stares out at the crowd one final time.

NLCW Undisputed World Championship
Rick Majors © VS. Dominic Pericolo
Standard Rules
AJ: This is it, ladies and gentlemen... both men in the ring now, two bona fide NLCW legends about to take each other on for the first time, in the last match in NLCW history...
BT: This is a momentous occasion, Aaron... it's a damn shame this is the last time, I'm sure these two are about to give us a match we'd love to have happen again one day.
AJ: Maybe it will, Bryan... maybe these two might face off again one day, but not here. Not in the NLCW. This... this is it.
There's a pause, the announce team silent as the referee finished talking to the two men. He then turns to the time keeper and bellman, making a motion with his hands.
The bell rings.
For a moment, time seems to stand still as Dominic Pericolo and Rick Majors remain in their corners of the ring, soaking in the cheers of the crowd as they stare each other down. The referee steps back from the center of the ring, watching the two men as they take a step out of the corner, never breaking their stare for a moment. Dominic Pericolo cracks his neck. Rick Majors cracks his knuckles. Two vastly different men, two vastly different fighters... the tension continues to build as they take another step forward.
AJ: Both men, hesitant to make the first move here tonight... they've studied each other before this match, no doubt, but having no in-ring experience against each other has got to play big on both men's minds.
Rick Majors takes the next step forward... and Dominic Pericolo takes his shot. In a flash, Dominic closes the gap between himself and Majors, his leg lightning-fast as it shoots up and into the air, looking to connect with Majors' jaw. Majors steps to the side, eyes wide at the sheer speed of Dominic's attempted kick, the Decapitation. Dominic, meanwhile, pivots to the side to plant his foot back on the mat, raising his fists as Majors tries to captalize by coming in, taking a swing at his challenger. Dominic raises his arm and bats Majors' own away, pushing off his now-firmly planted foot to get some momentum built while he swings his other fist forward, cracking Majors right in the side of his head and jerking the champion's body to the side. Rocked by the punch, Majors instinctively plants his feet after the hit and drives himself forward, answering Dominic's punch with one of his own!
AJ: Starting with some back-and-forth shots exchanged between the two...
BT: It's not like they could have started with a test of strength or anything... Dominic towers over Majors, he's going to have to use everything he can think of to gain advantage over the challenger here!
Dominic sends another punch Majors' way, but Majors drops his head under the punch and comes up with a swing in response. Dominic throws his arm up to bat the punch aside once again before stepping forward to drive his knee into Majors' gut, but Majors drops one of his hands down to press against Dominic's raised knee! Lunging forward after the block, Majors tackles Dominic to the mat and scrambles up to get him in a headlock, looking to rain down punches on the challengers head; however, Dominic takes advantage of Majors not immediately locking in his grip to force his way out of the headlock, pushing free and rolling away from Majors, both men reaching their feet at the same time! Dominic drives his foot forward into Majors' stomach as quickly as he can, doubling the champion over before stepping forward to hook his head, looking for a DDT! Majors grabs hold of Dominic's waist, however, and sets his stance to try and stop the larger challenger from carrying through with the hold. In a display of pure willpower, Majors manages to lift Dominic up and over his shoulder, bringing him down behind himself with a bridged Northern Lights Suplex!
AJ: MAJORS WITH THE EARLY COVER!!
BT: But Dominic kicks out before the ref even has the chance to count it!
Indeed, just as the referee comes down to start the count, Dominic has already forced his way out of the hold and began to roll himself to his feet, obviously still stunned by the display of strength by the much smaller Majors. Majors himself gets back up faster, coming in as Dominic starts to stand and driving his elbow into the challenger's face, staggering him. Majors throws a few more elbows, backing Dominic into the ropes before grabbing him by his wrist and Irish-whipping him across the ring. Off the rebound, Dominic builds up momentum and charges for Majors, who looks for an unorthodox high-leg clothesline! Dominic ducks the attack, however, causing Majors to come crashing back down as Dominic barrels towards the ropes, leaping up onto them and springboarding back off, twisting in mid-air and landing a springboard body splash on the slow-rising champion!
AJ: JESUS! Dominic took it to the air with that one!
BT: He's always been one of the biggest high-flyers the NLCW has ever seen, Aaron... it's amazing to watch him go to work like this!
Scrambling back up, Dominic continues to push himself full-throttle, charging the ropes once again as the stunned Majors begins to try and pull himself up once again. Rebounding off the ropes, Dominic runs for Majors just as he gets to a knee, using that same knee as a step-up to land a beautiful Shining Wizard straight to the face of Majors! Dropping back, the champion clutches at his face in pain as Dominic rolls through after the attack into a nearby corner, grabbing the top ropes and pulling himself up by them before springing up onto the top and turning atop it in one fluid motion, steadying himself almost immediately however to prevent himself from falling forward. Standing atop the turnbuckle, Dominic watches Majors carefully, scouting his next move... before taking to the air as Majors gets up on his left hand and his knees, his free hand still clutching at his face in pain! Dominic comes hurtling down towards Majors, looking to land another body splash... but Majors pushes off his left hand and rolls to the side, safely out of the way!
AJ: And Majors is still in this thing! He scouted Dominic's next move perfectly, and the challenger is now down on the canvas!
Shaking off the cobwebs, Majors pulls himself up once again as Dominic curls up after knocking the wind out of himself from the missed splash, trying desperately to regain his composure. Majors makes his way over and helps the challenger back to his feet, before driving a knee into his stomach that doubles him over! Majors then grabs Dominic by the back of his head and swings his leg upwards, driving his knee into his challenger's face and sending Dominic standing straight up from the shot and staggering backwards into the ropes! Leaning back against them, Dominic remains in a daze from the attack as Majors them leaps up into the air and hits a dropkick straight to Dominic's chest, sending him flipping over the top rope to the roars of the crowd! Dominic, however, manages to skin the cat as he holds onto the ropes in an instinctive effort to keep himself in the ring, landing harshly on the apron but managing to roll himself back inside. Majors stands back up from the dropkick and makes his way back over to Dominic, grabbing him by a handful of his hair and pulling him back up to his feet... only for Dominic to shove him back! Dominic steps forward to swing a chop against the chest of Majors, eliciting a "WOOOO!" from the fans. He does it again, and again, and a fourth time before ducking under an attempted right hook by Majors after the latest chop, spinning himself around to grab Majors by the back of his head, pulling him back and dropping him with a Reverse DDT!
BT: Reverse DDT! Just like that, Dominic pulls himself back behind the wheel in this thing, after it looked like Majors was about to step things up!
Gritting his teeth, Rick Majors rolls to the side and clutches at his head in pain. Meanwhile, Dominic pulls himself back to his feet, now being the one to make his way over to his downed opponent. He pulls Majors up, looking ready to set him up for something big; however, Majors, seemingly driving himself on pure instinct now, shoves Dominic Pericolo backwards! Majors wastes no time in charging forward after that, leaping into the air and twisting around slightly before smacking his shin into the side of Dominic's head with an enziguri! Dominic topples to his knees in a daze as Rick scrambles back to his feet, running towards the ropes and bouncing off of them. Still dazed, Dominic raises his head to look up, and is quickly welcomed by Majors with a charging kick to the chest that drives him onto his back!
AJ: Majors is fighting with everything he has out there tonight, Bryan!
BT: But so is Dominic! These two men aren't going to stop for anyone until they get what they came out here for!
Rick quickly tries to grab for Dominic's legs and lock in a sharpshooter, only to have Dominic forcefully THROW him off, sending him stumbling backwards across the ring. Pericolo stands, catching the oncoming Majors with a suprising arm-drag takedown, switching into a quick side-headlock and forcing Majors to his feet. Dominic quickly releases the hold and spins behind Majors, wrapping his arms under the champion's arms and locking his hands behind his neck in a full nelson! Rick struggles a little until Dominic lifts him up, and then proceeds to spike him down HARD onto his neck and shoulders with a full nelson slam!
BT: Oof! That's going to hurt!
AJ: Dominic, finally exercising the size difference between these two out there tonight and absolutely man-handling Majors in the process!
Dominic lifts Majors up to his feet once again, smashing his elbow a few times ino the side of Majors' head and sending him reeling back into the ropes. Dominic quickly grabs ahold of Rick's arm, Irish-whipping him out from the ropes... but Majors holds on! He yanks Pericolo forward, quickly shooting out his elbow and causing the challenger to crash head-first into his elbow, sending Dominic stumbling back into the ropes! Majors quickly steps forward, whipping Dominic across the ring. Dominic barrels across, gaining momentum to meet Majors off the rebound, only to have the champion charge forward and leap into the air, grabbing ahold of his shoulders and LEAP FROGGING over him!
AJ: WHOAH! Where did THAT come from?!
BT: There's, like, a three inch difference between them! How-- ?!
Dominic, wasting no time, bounces off the opposite ropes and charges at Majors from behind, only to have Majors leap backwards and twist in mid air, hitting the mat and forcing Dominic to have to leap over him to avoid tripping. Rick pops back to his feet as Dominic rebounds off the ropes once again, only to be met with a HUGE high leg clothesline! Both men crash to the mat as Majors scrambles for the ropes to pull himself up and Dominic grabs ahold of his throat, coughing a little. Staggering over to the downed challenger, Majors tries to pull Dominic up to his feet, only to have Dominic throw a desperation punch up into his face! Majors stumbles backwards as Dominic curls himself up and kips up to his feet, focusing on keeping his balance after landing and turning to face Majors just as Majors catches his own balance mid-stumble.
AJ: Both challengers caught in a stand-off now...
Both men rush into the center of the ring from their positions, grappling away. Pericolo naturally takes control after a few seconds, and he pushes Majors back against the ropes. Struggling, Pericolo slowly pushes Majors into a corner. Pericolo nails Majors with a few rights, and then an elbow to the face to finish off the combo. Finally he whips Majors into the corner, sending him SLAMMING into the opposite turnbuckle as hard as he can, a glare set in his gaze as he does so. Majors bounces out, staggering a bit with a hand on his back, and Dominic wastes no time, following up with a huge boot to Majors's face! Majors snaps back to the mat as Dominic, seemingly getting into his element now, picks Majors up and grabs his arm for an Irish-whip. Majors reverses it, however, and the two are so close to the ropes that Pericolo simply hits them chest first. He grabs on with his arms, stopping himself for a split second... but before he can move back, Majors charges forward as quickly as he can, grabbing him by the head and sending him over the top rope! Pericolo tumbles to the ground, his legs almost finding balance but never quite getting there.
AJ: Pericolo spills out of the ring! Majors is about to take it to the air, my God!!
BT: This isn't going to end well... !
Majors runs to the closest corner and literally runs UP the turnbuckles, crouching on the top! Dominic, shaking off the cobwebs, has pulled himself up and turned by the time Majors takes to the air, flying towards him with a body-splash! The crowd's volume raises dramatically as Majors flies towards his challenger who, surprisingly, refuses to budge! Setting his stance, Dominic lets out a roar of effort as he actually CATCHES Majors on the drop, getting rocked backwards by the impact but somehow staying up on his feet! The fans erupt into cheers, chanting Dominic's name as he grits his teeth tightly together and rushes forward, driving Majors' back into the corner! Majors lets out a cry of pain as Dominic pulls back from the post and rolls Majors into the ring, obviously physically strained by the efforts himself. He rolls himself into the ring after Majors, who by now has begun to pull himself up onto his hands and knees... and Dominic makes his way over and helps him up to his feet. Placing a hand on the back of Majors' shoulder and another hand gripping Majors' wrist, Dominic launches him headlong into the nearbye corner, rushing in after him with an immediate splash into the corner!
AJ: Dominic is downright manhandling Majors now! He desperately wants the title tonight!
BT: It goes beyond that, Aaron... Dominic Pericolo and Rick Majors are giving everything they have to this match! Even through all the pain, just watch! Majors is STILL struggling to fight back!
Dominic Pericolo has Majors in the corner, driving repeated strikes into Majors' head to try and keep the champion dazed, before jamming his elbow right up under Rick's chin! Dominic holds the strike for a moment, trying to strain Majors' neck as much as possible. Just as he pulls back, however, Majors acts in pure desperation on his own and throws his head forward, cracking his forehead across Pericolo's nose with a headbutt! The crowd erupts in cheers as Pericolo stumbles back from the corner, Majors staggering out as well as he gasps for breath. Shaking off the effects of Dominic's assault, Majors takes a step forward to continue his own against the challenger; however, Pericolo catches his oncoming fist and uses his other hand to grab Majors by the elbow, looking for an Irish-whip. Majors quickly turns as he's yanked forward, pulling Pericolo's arm in and executing a very sloppy belly-to-belly suplex!
BT: AND MAJORS IS STILL IN THIS THING!
AJ: Exhaustion has GOT to start to be setting in... these guys have been going at it now for quite some time full-tilt, you can only put everything you have into something before the tank runs dry!
Both men are down, and the crowd starts to get loud with cheers and chants for both men, almost evenly matched in volume. Majors's the first one up, with Pericolo only a split second behind-- and with both men up to their feet, Pericolo is the first to react by rushing at Majors. Instead of meeting him head on, however, Majors turns and springboards off the ropes, coming back with a dropkick that sends Pericolo dropping to the mat! Dominic rolls to the side and quickly tries to push himself up but Majors, having rolled through after his fall, is back up to his knees. He shoots out once more, clipping Pericolo's legs out from under him just as he starts to get back up. This time, Majors scrambles to his feet beside the downed challenger and takes to the air quickly, dropping a leg across Pericolo's throat! Majors drops one more before lifting him back up to his feet thereafter, lining Dominic up... and swinging a HUGE haymaker straight for his head! Still not so out of it that he can't react in time, Dominic leans back quickly to avoid the swing before standing back up straight and throwing himself forward, pushing Majors into a corner. Pericolo drives his knee up into Rick's gut as he shoves him into the corner and, with Majors doubled over, Dominic jumps up to the second ropes and locks him in for a twisting DDT to the mat!
AJ: Dominic taking control once AGAIN, however! The size difference is really beginning to take its toll out there... and with a guy like Dominic, who's known for his seemingly endless ability to get up after all kinds of punishment, Rick Majors is far behind in this match right now!
BT: But you know what happens to a cornered animal, Aaron! Majors looks about ready to blow up out there!
Pericolo rolls to his feet and pulls Majors up with him, pressing his back against the ropes and whipping him across the ring. Just as Majors comes back off the rebound, however, he immediately drops low to the mat before Dominic and react and connects with a surprise dropkick to Dominic's knee! The challenger immediately drops to his knee as the crowd erupts into cheers from the display of skill by Majors, who rolls to the side and immediately stumbles up to his feet again. Pericolo holds himself up on his hands before his weight has to settle on the joint, but the moment he attempts to stand, Majors is quick to chop him down with a second dropkick, leaving Pericolo to drop to his left hip, cradling the limb under him! Just as Dominic tries to pull himself up one last time, Majors scrambles up again and BLASTS Pericolo with a third dropkick, this one to the head!
AJ: MAJORS IS ON FIRE!!
BT: I told you, Aaron! There's a reason we've always called him "The Impact"!
Majors blasts away, putting the boots to Pericolo before shuttling off toward the ropes, coming back with speed only to be BEHEADED by a rising clothesline! The crowd gasps in shock before immediately erupting into cheers once again, Dominic collapsing beside Majors as both men lie motionless on the mat for a short while, the referee having no choice but to wait things out, refusing to end the final match of the NLCW on a 10-count! The time passes on agonizingly, as both men slowly try and regain their bearings, pulling themselves up into opposite sides of the ring once again. Majors is the first to get up fully, however, and Dominic is still leaning into the turnbuckle on his side of the ring when Majors turns to see him. Eyes filled with determination, Rick Majors charges across the ring as Pericolo turns around, taken completely by surprise, taking one step out of the turnbuckle to try and take him on, only to get SPEARED into the turnbuckle! The crowd ERUPTS into cheers as Majors pulls himself up and starts throwing body shots left and right into Pericolo, almost immediately taking the wind out of his challenger! Majors stands straight up and DECKS Pericolo across the side of the face, sending him reeling out of the corner and stumbling alongside the ropes. Majors makes his way over and grabs Pericolo by the arm, pressing him against the ropes and whipping him off them, catching him off the rebound with a HUGE dropkick to the face, toppling Pericolo back to the mat!
BT: ... okay, even I don't know where Majors is getting this energy. This is phenomenal.
Majors lets out an animalistic roar, pumping his fists to either side as he stares down at Pericolo, SCREAMING at him to get up! The fans are completely getting into it at this point, chants of "MAJORS! MAJORS! MAJORS!" echoing throughout the arena of the champion's hometown in response. Pericolo slowly begins to rise, but as soon as he reaches a vertical base... Majors dives forward to try and take his head clear off of his shoulders with a charging clothesline-- but Pericolo ducks! Both men spin around to face each other, and a VERY determined looking Pericolo promptly smashes his fist into the jaw of Majors! Majors staggers from the shot, but doesn't fall back... prompting Pericolo to step forward and deliver another strike, and another! Backing the champion back towards the center of the ring, Dominic keeps laying into him with punches, before grabbing him by his head...
AJ: JESUS CHRIST, DOMINIC!
BT: Headbutt! Headbutt! Dominic Pericolo returns the favor for Rick Majors!!!
Majors topples to the mat clutching at his nose as Pericolo stands overhead, breathing heavily with a fire in his own eyes. He then quickly grabs Majors by his hair and forces him back up to his feet, drilling him with knees to the midsection, before shoving him back into the turnbuckle! Pericolo then pulls himself up onto the middle turnbuckle and starts raining down on the top of Majors's head with punch after punch! Just as the punch-count reaches 9, however, something entirely unexpected happens-- Majors hunkers down and grabs Pericolo by the legs, the crowd rising in volume as the seemingly impossible feat is done. Despite the exhaustion setting in, the smaller champion somehow manages to pull his challenger up atop his shoulders and then DRILL him to the mat with a powerbomb!
BT: POWERBOMB! HOW DID-- MY GOD! MAJORS WON'T STOP!
AJ: Not enough to keep Dominic down, but... my God, have we EVER seen Majors powerbomb an opponent so much larger than him before?!
Dominic, obviously in pain and in a daze, tries to roll back up to his knees while clutching at his head. Majors walks over and grabs a fistful of Pericolo's hair, pulling him to his feet as he glances around the ring, trying to scout his next move. Growing ever-more determined, Majors archs Pericolo's head back and rears his free hand, before delivering a HARD open-palm strike to Pericolo's chest, letting go of him and sending him staggering back, clutching at his chest in pain! Majors steps in for Pericolo once more and delivers a hard boot to the gut, before setting him up for a suplex.
BT: ... okay, Rick, you are not, in fact, Superman. Why are you even about to try this.
AJ: The adrenaline is flowing and Majors has completely enveloped himself into this match! I wouldn't be surprised to see him pull this off, Bryan!
However, just as Majors goes to lift Pericolo...Pericolo hooks his foot under the rope, stopping him! Frustrated, Majors tries to pull him up again, only to have Pericolo pound away at his stomach, trying to break free! Dominic frantically keeps swinging away at Majors' gut, when one swing goes sideways inadvertantly catches Majors with a punch to the liver! Majors's eyes bug out as his grip quickly loosens on Pericolo, allowing him to instead force Majors up into the air, reversing the suplex into one of his own! Gritting his teeth from the effort, Dominic turns around with Majors to face the outside of the ring! The fans grow in volume as they realize Dominic's plans, the challenger advancing to the ropes before leaning forward, looking to launch Majors clear out of the ring! Once again, however, somehow despite everything that's came against him... Majors not only lands on the ropes, but holds on for dear life to not break the hold with Dominic! The fans erupt into cheers as Majors begins throwing weak shots at Dominic's mid-section with his knees, trying desperately to get him softened up in the hold. With a roar of effort, however, Dominic rips Majors up off the apron and falls back, dropping Majors with a suplex back into the ring!
AJ: Somehow, someway, Rick Majors was looking to counter that even after all the punishment taken... but Dominic Pericolo simply had that much more in his tank left to overpower him!
BT: Dominic's gasing himself out there though, Aaron... both men are exhausted, but just doing that suplex wore Dominic out!
Indeed, both men remain on the mat as Dominic wipes the sweat from his eyes, gritting his teeth as he rolls over. By now, the knee Rick targeted earlier is beginning to act up a little, and Dominic shakes his leg a bit and slaps at the knee to try and loosen it up some. Shaking his head, Dominic starts to try and pull himself back up to his feet, all the while Rick struggles just to make it to the ropes for support. Both men slowly but surely stagger back to their feet, both barely able to stand on their own weight after the grueling match they've held on through! Pericolo quickly tries to take back control, putting everything he has into it as he swings for a clothesline! But Majors ducks underneath and grabs him in a waistlock, obviously looking for a German suplex; however, Pericolo battles back with a series of elbow shots to the side of the head, loosening his opponent’s grip before then reaching backwards and taking him over with a headlock takedown! He then tries to keep the hold locked in, but Majors’s adrenaline is pumping once again as he battles his back to his feet and then forces Pericolo back into the corner with a series of elbow shots of his own! Once free, Majors then NAILS Dominic with a series of brutal knife-edge chops! He then grabs his challenger by the arm and goes to whip him off into the corner, but somehow, Pericolo reverses! He then charges after Majors, looking to follow up right away but instead running into two stiff boots to the face, as Majors gets both legs up in time! Dominic staggers backwards as Majors hops up onto the second turnbuckle and then leaps off, taking Pericolo down and out with a textbook flipping neckbreaker!
AJ: WHERE IS RICK MAJORS GETTING THIS ENERGY?!
BT: This is IT, Aaron! The rebirth of "The Impact", and it came not a moment too late! Rick Majors has tapped into something we've not seen from him in YEARS, and it's coming to life here tonight!
Scrambling for the downed Dominic, half-knowing the outcome of his actions already, Majors nonetheless throws an arm over Dominic to hopefully capitalize on his stunned demeanor! The referee drops for the count, Dominic's eyes half-opening as he realizes what's going on.
TWO-- NO! Dominic kicks out at two!
BT: Majors, just trying to wear Dominic out at this point...
Unfazed, Majors grabs Pericolo by the hair and starts to drag him back up, only to be met with a driving elbow to the face! Pushing off his foot and pulling himself back up, Dominic then whips Majors off into the ropes and ducks down for what looks to be a back body drop, but Majors sees it coming, instead switching behind Pericolo and grabbing him in a waistlock yet again! Screaming at the top of his lungs, his body wracked with pain, Rick Majors somehow manages to lift Dominic up and over, the entire arena on their feet as they roar with cheers, Majors flinging his challenger backwards with a PHENOMENAL German suplex!! Not done there however, he keeps his grip locked as he drags Pericolo up again, the crowd only growing in volume as Majors SOMEHOW is able to lift Dominic up and deliver a second!
AJ: ... my God, Bryan, I...
BT: Rick Majors is doing EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING he can...
Still not finished, tears now forming in his eyes from the pain and exhaustion, Majors pulls Pericolo up one last time. He's clearly winding himself greatly from all the effort, but with Dominic seemingly out of it in his grasp it seems to be working. With one last, exhausted cry of effort, Majors somehow manages to get Dominic up and over one final, third time, connecting with a HUGE German suplex!! The finish of the move is sloppy as Dominic lists to the side after the impact, Majors simply collapsing beside him before forcing his body to cooperate with him as he weakly rolls over, collapsing on Dominic to make yet another cover...
TWO...
... THRE-- NO! NO!! DOMINIC GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES!!
AJ: Dominic's still in this thing! My GOD, Dominic is still in this thing!
The crowd, as Rick Majors, are in a state of disbelief as Majors sits on his knees and pulls at his hair in frustration, looking down at Dominic with wild, tired eyes. He shakes his head, before dragging both himself and Pericolo up, then setting his challenger into a standing head scissors! Majors grabs hold of Dominic's waist, looking to pull Dominic up for a piledriver... but Dominic, holding on tight, stops Majors from lifting him! Struggling to lift Majors up and over, Rick immediately begins pounding away with hammer-fists onto Dominic's back, doing whatever he can to weaken the man as he tries desperately to maintain control! Dominic, however, manages to stand STRAIGHT UP, Majors' eyes bugging out as the 6'4" legend holds him by his legs atop his shoulders, before dropping to the mat and DRIVING Rick down with a snap-backbuster! The fans erupt into cheers once again at the display of strength, as Dominic simply falls forward in exhaustion, the move clearly having taken its toll on Majors enough for Dominic to be comfortable with a cover...
TWO...
THR-- NO! RICK MAJORS KICKS OUT!
BT: THE IMPACT ISN'T DONE YET!
AJ: Absolutely phenomenal, we may NEVER see an end to this match at this rate!
Shaking his head, Dominic staggers up off of Majors, his legs visibly shaking from the effort as he reaches down to grab the back of Rick's head, pulling him up with him once again! Yet all it takes is a second, if even, for the tides to suddenly and abruptly change once again... faster than the fans can react, Dominic Pericolo is suddenly doubled over as Rick Majors lunges his whole body upward, bringing his knee into the challenger's stomach! Hooking both arms as quickly as he can, Majors then forces Dominic up into the air, falling back and DROPPING him with a split-second...
BT: MAJOR IMPACT! MAJOR IMPACT! OH MY GOD, HE DID IT! HE HIT IT, AARON!
AJ: THIS COULD BE IT! THIS COULD WELL BE IT!!!
Collapsing on top of Dominic once again, Majors goes for the cover as the referee dives to count the pin, the ENTIRE arena now on their feet and chanting "NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!" at the scene. As the ref makes the count, the chants shift to focus on the count with the ref, the entire crowd joining in...
TWO...
THRE--- NO! NO!!! DOMINIC PERICOLO, SOMEHOW, HAS KICKED OUT OF THE MAJOR IMPACT!!
BT: ... WHAT?! WHAT?! I-- WHAT?!
AJ: HE KICKED OUT! PERICOLO IS STILL FIGHTING FORWARD!
The crowd is going absolutely insane at this point, the chants for the NLCW hitting a fevered pitch as both legends have simply drained themselves in the ring before them. Majors, refusing to give up just yet, somehow finds the strength to pull himself up to his feet using the ropes, ignoring the searing pain coursing through his entire body. He rests against the ropes for several moments, simply keeping an eye on Dominic all the while. Majors then heads back towards Pericolo and grabs him by the hair, again looking to drag him back up, but Dominic somehow catches him with a jawbreaker! Majors stumbles backwards, and falls against the ropes, as Pericolo then pushes himself up the rest of the way. Majors then charges forwards, lunging with his boot as he attempts to knock Pericolo block off with a superkick... only to have Dominic duck underneath!! Both men pivot around and, in what literally looks like a blur on the screen, Dominic Pericolo shows Rick Majors how HE does his own kick by connecting rock-solid with...
BT: THE DECAPITATION!
AJ: Rick Majors was physically lifted up by the kick! My God, Dominic may have just stolen this match, ladies and gentlemen!!
Falling onto Majors, Dominic Pericolo actually hooks the leg, leaning into the pin as much as he can as the fans count along with the ref once again, Rick Majors completely motionless on the mat!
TWO...
THREE-- NO! UNBELIEVABLY, RICK MAJORS ACTUALLY KICKS OUT!!
BT: ...
AJ: I... I... I...
BT: That's... I can't believe this! HOW ARE THEY EVEN ALIVE AT THIS POINT!?
The crowd EXPLODES with cheers as Dominic Pericolo stares at the referee in stunned amazement! Shaking his head in awe, Dominic makes his way up to his feet once again while dragging Majors up with him, looking to find a way to finish it one last time. He gets behind Majors, looking to pull him up for the set-up to the End of Existence... but Majors immediately starts shoving his entire body back against Dominic, forcing the weakend challenger to follow the momentum towards the corner! Gritting his teeth, Dominic finds a way to overpower Rick, planting his feet and stopping the champion from going any further backwards before stepping to the side enough to force Majors back, practically THROWING him into the turnbuckles! Dominic then delivers a quick series of shoulder tackles to the back before seating Majors on the top turnbuckle.
AJ: Dominic now, looking to end this thing from the top it looks like...
BT: When all else fails, this might be the only thing that'll actually WORK to keep him down!
Pericolo then nails his opponent with some sickening uppercuts, almost knocking Majors clean off the turnbuckle! However, Dominic manages to hold him steady as he then starts to climb up after him, only to have Majors shove him off! Pericolo lands hard but sucks it up and heads right back over to the corner, climbing once again only to be shoved off a second time!! Dominic gets back to his feet and approaches the corner again, this time catching Majors with several European uppercuts to stop his fight back. He then climbs up after his opponent and pulls him in for what looks to be a standing head scissors...
AJ: Pericolo looking to set Majors up for a top-rope powerbomb here...
Dominic pulls Majors up atop his shoulders, but while somehow maintaining balance on the turnbuckle he shifts Majors' body around enough to get his back resting across Dominic's shoulders! The crowd ERUPTS into cheers at the sight, as both Aaron and Bryan stand up along with the fans, their own eyes widening too.
AJ: DOMINIC'S GOING FOR THE END OF EXISTENCE OF THE TOP ROPE! THIS IS IT!!
Pivoting, Dominic lifts Majors up off his shoulders and aims him out ahead of himself... but in mid-air, Majors twists his body around, keeping a hold under both of Dominic's arms and pulling him forward in mid-air. The crowd is now screaming at the top of their lungs as both NLCW legends begin to plummet to the mat, Majors keeping his hold on Pericolo as tight as possible before the impact, which completely rocks the ring as both men come crashing down with the Major Impact!!!
AJ: OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!! OH MY GOD!!!!!
BT: HE REVERSED IT!!!! RICK MAJORS REVERSED THE END OF EXISTENCE INTO THE MAJOR IMPACT OFF THE TOP ROPE!
The referee cannot believe the sight before him, both men seemingly entirely out of it on the mat; however, Rick Majors, that little bit of gas left in his tank being just enough to move him forward... Rick Majors struggles with all of his might to push the limp Dominic Pericolo over onto his back, visibly struggling with the effort from his own exhaustion. Moments pass as the fans begin to chant "NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!" once again, Majors doing everything he can to soak up that last bit of energy needed to make the cover...
AJ: THIS COULD BE IT, BRYAN!!
Majors keeps struggling, finally getting Dominic to roll over onto his back, but in the process putting him out of his range. The fans continue to cheer, as Rick lifts his head tiredly, his eyes half-open from exhaustion as he grits his teeth, his whole body shaking with effort as he pushes forward one last time, throwing an arm over Dominic Pericolo's chest to make the cover!
TWO...
THREE!!!!
The bell rings.
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen... it's over! Rick Majors wins!
BT: My God... they definitely saved the best for last!
The crowd rises to their feet. A huge cheer sounds as the referee enters the ring with the NLCW Undisputed Championship in his hands.
LW: Ladies and gentlemen.... the winner of this match and STILL NLCW UNDISPUTED WORLD CHAMPION: RICK "THE IMPACT" MAJORS!!!
The crowd gives the competitors a standing ovation. The two men remain lifeless in the ring. The referee approaches Majors and he hands him the championship. Majors opens his eyes, but he is unable to move at the moment. Pericolo lies on the canvas with his eyes closed. His chest rises and falls with deep breathing. A few other referees enter the ring at this point. With their help, Majors slowly starts to sit up. The officials drape the championship over his shoulder. The crowd explodes.
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen.... obviously we never wanted this company to close, but if it has to - and it does - what an absolutely amazing way to end it.
BT: Look at these two men, AJ. These two men left nothing in the tank. They both gave it their all. They poured out everything they have left into this match and they did so out of respect to the NLCW. They did so out of honour. They did so out of dedication to a company they both love.
AJ: What a moment Bryan. What a match.
Aaron Jennings and Bryan Terwilliger both rise to their feet as well. They join in the standing ovation for the two competitors in the ring, and for the NLCW itself.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
Several other officials and ring crew come out to the ring as well. They are followed by Dade Midvalley. With the help of the officials, Rick Majors slowly gets to his feet. Majors leans on he ropes, looking out at the crowd. The NLCW Undisputed World Championship sits on his shoulder. The crowd is still standing. He slowly raises the championship in the air.
Midvalley walks over towards Majors and he extends his hand to him. Majors reaches out and shakes his hand. The two men now walk over toward Dominic Pericolo. Pericolo is sitting up now, looking out at the crowd. Majors walks over to him and extends his hand out. Pericolo grabs it and Majors helps him up to his feet. The crowd explodes once again.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
The two men embrace in the center of the ring as officials, ring crew and staff members surround them. Majors and Pericolo now turn toward the crowd. Both men point at the crowd and they applaud. The officials, staff and crew inside the ring begin to applaud as well.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen... I'm probably not the person that is best qualified to say this.... but I just want to thank you.
BT: You're right AJ. This crowd, these fans.... they've been absolutely amazing.
AJ: Thank you for six years of excellence. Thank you for six years of supporting us. Thank you for six years of being the absolute best fans Bryan and I have ever seen.
BT: We're probably going to move on. Many of us will likely get new jobs. We may even work for other wrestling companies... but I know that I will never EVER forget the NLCW. Ever.
AJ: No Limits Championship Wrestling is special, and it will always be special. Always. Nothing will replace this company in our hearts, no matter what happens.
Inside the ring, Rick Majors and Dominic Pericolo continue to salute the crowd.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
Suddenly, Metallica's "Broken, Beat & Scarred" begins to play as the fans get to their feet, Dazz emerging with the North American championship in his hand and still covered in sweat from his match against Cole Marr earlier. He slowly walks down to the ring as the crowd continues to applaud. Dazz enters the ring. Hestares at Pericolo then grabs at him for a hug, patting him on the back and muttering something inaudible to him. Dazz now walks toward Rick Majors.
AJ: This could be interesting, the new and final North American champion about to confront the final Undisputed champion.
BT: Maybe he'll ask for an impromptu match?
Rick Majors watches as Dazz grabs the North American title to raise it up onto his right shoulder, standing in the middle of the ring staring at Majors. Looking at the Undisputed title he once held this time last year, the Messiah of Metal smiles before giving The Impact an embrace, showing the type of solidarity and friendship that NLCW upheld from the beginnings of this company.
AJ: Great moment here between two of NLCW's finest.
Stepping back slightly, the two men shake hands and speak to each other, the music and the fans having died down, straining their ears to try and hear what is being said but not even the cameras are picking it up, instead only watching as their mouths move but silence pervades the scene. After what seems like forever, Dazz walks towards the ropes and grabs for a microphone, not even bothering to move as he remains in the corner for the entirety of his short speech.
Dazz: Someone give us a spotlight.
He replaces the microphone back to ring announcer Lucinda Welch as the arena lights are killed leaving just a singular spotlight in the centre with Rick Majors still holding the Undisputed title underneath the white glow, Dazz joining him as the fans cheer this symbolic moment. Dominic Pericolo stands alongside them. The crowd cheers as the three men stand inside the ring.
AJ: These three men definitely represent this company. They definitely represent the spirit of No Limits Championship Wrestling.
Dazz now drapes the North American title on the canvas before standing back. He looks toward Majors. Majors now does the same with the Undisputed title above it before both men leave the spotlight, disappearing into the darkness as the cameras focus on just the championship belts, the only things seen in the otherwise darkened arena.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
AJ: Thank you NLCW.
BT: Goodbye.
The spotlight slowly fades out now, leaving the arena in complete darkness. All that can be heard is the sound of the crowd cheering.
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS! NO LI-MITS!
Slowly the NLCW logo appears on the screen for the final time.
