We enter the arena where pyro explodes and the fans are on their feet. "Just Like You" continues to play. The camera pans around the arena as a sea of NLCW fans wave their signs and cheer as NLCW Avulsion begins
"On my

Aaron Jennings: Ladies and gentlemen, this is NLCW Avulsion! I'm Aaron Jennings and with me as always is Bryan Terwilliger!
Bryan Terwilliger: Hello everyone! We're less than a week away from NLCW When Worlds Collide!
AJ: And two worlds are definitely going to collide tonight! What a main event we have for you!
BT: You're right about that! In tag team action you're going to see Dominic Pericolo team up with Drew Graham to face Chris Champion and The Saint!
AJ: The Undisputed World Champion and the North American Champion on the same side, battling against two men they will meet in singles competition at the pay per view!
BT: And that's not all! No, you're also going to see the former Undisputed Champion Carmine Vestieri step into the ring against Gabriel Roken!
AJ: You will also see Revolver face off against Vanity Shogun!
The lights in the building go out.
"Yeah, yeah
Tricky, let's show 'em some love
Welcome to Detroit!"
"Welcome to Detroit" plays and pyros explode around the ramp. Jean Trick appears in the entrance area. He raises his arms in the air as the audience cheers. He walks down the ramp with his arms up.
"Where's my gangstas and all my thugs?
Throw them hands up and show some love
And I Welcome you to Detroit City
I said welcome to Detroit City
Every place everywhere we go
Man we deep everywhere we roll
Ask around and they all know Tricky
That's whats good man they all say Tricky"
There are more pyros above the ring as Trick enters. He stands on the middle ropes, looking out at the audience, with his arms in the air as the crowd screams. He grabs a mic and starts to talk.
Jean Trick: "Yo, yo. I know I ain't been around in a while, but I'm back. I'm back and I got my eye on one man. The man I faced in this very ring last month. The man I lost to and the man who's going for the NA title against Drew Graham on Sunday night. Dat's right. I'm talkin' 'bout The Saint."
The crowd gives a mixed reaction.
Jean Trick: "You probably thought I was gone, right Saint? Well you ain't so lucky, boy. Da Trick is comin' after you. Da Trick is on you tail. Da Trick wants you in the ring. Not with some other wrestler in there with us, no. That's not how we roll this time. This time it's gonna be one-on-one. Jean Trick vs The Saint. On the next Avulsion. You up for it boy?"
AJ: Jean Trick back in the NLCW and he's challenging The Saint to a match!
BT: I wonder if the Saint will accept?
Jean Trick: "So Saint, what do you say? You man enough? I hope you win that NA title on Sunday night, because if you do, I'm taking it away from you the next Monday. I'ma break yo neck boy!"
"Welcome to Detroit" plays once again and Jean Trick leaves the ring.
The cameras transition to a scene in the back, a dark room with a dimmed light focused upon a single figure in its center. The camera itself starts off focused up-close on the white-taped hands of the figure, one fist clenched and the other finishing taping the fist. The camera begins to pan back, slowly revealing that the figure in the room is none other than the NLCW Heavyweight Champion, Dominic Pericolo. He has a faraway look in his eyes, clenching and unclenching his fists in the tape before lifting them up to stare at them intently.
Dominic Pericolo: I have to fight him... he's... dying, and I... have to fight him.
Dominic closes his eyes, both fists clenching tightly. He shakes his head and lifts it shortly after, opening his eyes and staring off into the distance, a sigh escaping his lips. His eyes tell the story: focusing on nothing but the darkness beyond the light shining down on him, Dominic seems to have tuned out everything else in the room, entirely emersed in the mental storm he's putting himself through.
Dominic lets out a half-hearted, bitter laugh, lowering his arms onto his lap and bowing his head down once more, the weight of his circumstances slowly falling down upon him.
Dominic Pericolo: I have to fight my dying best friend or I could lose my job... I could lose everything, but... if I fight him, Christ, what if I...
Dominic lifts his head one more time, that faraway look still in his eyes as he brings a single hand up to cover his mouth, the words leaving a foul taste there as they leave, clearly bringing a monumental weight down on the fighting champion's heart.
Dominic Pericolo: If I fight him... what if I kill him?
Dominic's eyes seem to refocus and are filled with an enormous amount of stress and confliction as he lowers his gaze once again, the camera slowly beginning to fade into the darkness surrounding Dominic beyond his light, the crowd murmering to themselves as the final shot of the NLCW Champion is of him slowly lowering his head into his hands, his shoulders beginning to shake.
AJ: Geeze... Dominic is just... he is not in a very good way at all.
BT: Last week was hard enough for him, just accepting what was going to happen... but tonight, tonight is a preview of what's to come, and you can believe that that fact in itself is tearing him apart.
AJ: We'll be back after the following commercial break, folks...
Fade to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen, we're back.
BT: And later on tonight we've got an exclusive for you.
AJ: That's right, Joseph Witt of the official NLCW website sat down with Rick Majors a few days ago to conduct an extensive interview.
BT: With the way Majors has been acting these past few months, that's going to be a very interesting interview.
AJ: I haven't seen any of it yet, but I've heard it's shocking stuff.
The shot now switches backstage.
Dade Midvalley: You sure you’re up to this tonight, Champ? I mean, I know I’ve agreed to sanction your comeback... however short lived that may be... but you really don’t have to wrestle every week. Why don’t we just cancel this match tonight? You had a tough time out against Carmine
last week. Take the night off!
Chris Champion: Dade, I’m not just going to rot on the side lines. I’ve said I want to restore this company to greatness and that’s what I intend to do. I can’t stand inactivity. You know that.
Dade Midvalley: And what does Pericolo think of all this? You heard his little outburst last week. I know for a fact that he doesn’t really want to be in this match tonight.
Chris Champion: I’ve not spoken to him since last week. We just both need some time to clear out heads, that’s all. I know that it’s going to be hard for him to face me at the pay-per-view but it’s going to happen so he better get acquainted with the idea. That title belt of his is on the line and I intend to do everything in my power to wrestle it from him.
Dade Midvalley: I thought you said that this run wasn’t about the titles, Champ?
Chris Champion: It’s not, Dade. It’s really not. You know me though... I always feel slightly... naked without the World title around my waist.
Cocking a grin in Midvalley’s direction, Dade has no choice but to shake his head and laugh.
Dade Midvalley: You’re a piece of work, Champion. You really are.

We find ourselves backstage in one of the long corridors as we catch a familiar face lighting up a cigarette illegally and looking rather sheepish in the process. It’s Chris Champion. Suddenly, a rather bulky fellow comes into the shot with a T-shirt that reads “RandomDeliveryDude#026”. He begins to speak to Champion.
Delivery man: Hey Champion!
Chris Champion: Oh, hey. What’s up?
Delivery man: We’ve got a letter for you. Just came in. Special delivery.
The delivery man hands Champion a white envelope and darts off down the corridor. Bemused as to who would send him a letter, Chris immediately tears it open and brings the letter up towards the light.
Dear Chris,
I would have sent this to your home address, but I don’t know where you’re stopping at the moment. I know we had that conversation last week but I’ve had time to think about things a little more and I’m not done trying to get through to you. This is just a short note to say that both myself and Cesar are going to come to see you at When Worlds Collide. I figured this was the best of telling you without arguing about it.
We both love you very dearly and can’t bear to see you spend your last days alone. Please, call me.
Love,
Georgina
With a sigh, Champion bows his head before shaking it vigorously.
Chris Champion: Fuck...
AJ: Champion’s former fiancée and only son are going to be at the
pay-per-view, Bryan.
BT: This match against Pericolo is getting more interesting by the second.
AJ: I just hope something awful doesn’t happen with his former lover and kid sat there in the audience.
BT: I do too...
COMMERCIAL BREAK
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen, as we mentioned earlier in the program, NLCW website reporter Joseph Witt sat down with NLCW Hall of Famer Rick Majors on Thursday to talk about his recent actions. We now present part one of that interview to you.
The scene switches to NLCW studios in Toronto, Ontario. The date "AUGUST 20th, 2009" is shown on the screen. There are two chairs in the middle of the studio. Two bright spotlights shine on them. In one chair sits Joseph Witt. In the other chair sits Rick Majors. Majors looks as disheveled and disturbed as he has over the last few months. Joseph Witt starts to speak.
Joseph Witt: First of all, Rick, I'd like to thank you for being here today and giving us this...
Rick Majors: Where else do I have to go Joseph? Where else do I have to go? I can't go home... I'm surrounded by pictures of her.... her sweet, smiling face is everywhere I look! And I can't visit her in the hospital anymore... I can't do it... I can't.....
Joseph Witt: Well Rick, how is she doing?
Rick Majors: She's in the hospital.
Joseph Witt: Yes, I know. But how is her recovery?
Rick Majors: Honestly... I don't know... I don't know... I mean... I can't.... I can't.... I just can't sit there anymore. I can't sit there while she lies in bed motionless. Machines run 24 hours a day.... and my wife... my wife struggles to even breathe. She's unconscious.... she's.....
Joseph Witt: I'm sorry to hear that.
Rick Majors: Sure you are! LIKE HELL YOU ARE! Like anyone in this God forsaken company gives a damn about my life, my family. Like anyone in this company gives a damn about me! I spent years - YEARS - in this... in this organization and... and... I broke my neck... I ripped apart both my knees... my shoulder hurts every time I move it.... and... and... Kelly wanted to get married for years... YEARS. She was always asking me to leave the company... to retire.... to get married.... but what did I do? I stuck around this terrible place and I ruined my life.
Joseph Witt: Then why did you come back? Why do you keep appearing on NLCW television?
Rick Majors: Why?.... Didn't you listen to me earlier??? I have no where else to go. My wife... my wife.... my wife is in the hospital.... my friends.... my friends don't have time for me.... the only..... the only..... the only family I have left is here. It's sick and it's twisted but.... but... my prison has become my home...
Joseph Witt: But what do you hope to accomplish here? Why are you frequently in the ring? Why have you attacked people?
Rick Majors: WHY HAVE I ATTACKED PEOPLE!? Joseph... Joseph... Joseph.... you tell me how you would feel.... you tell me how you would feel.... if.... if your wife was unconscious in a hospital.... if everything you had in this world was suddenly taken away from you...... if..... if..... You tell me.... what would you do with the rage inside you when you think about.... about.... about that drunk driver who ran that light.... who ran that light and ruined your life..... HOW WOULD YOU FEEL!?
The scene now changes back to the arena. Aaron Jennings and Bryan Terwilliger can be seen once again.
AJ: Well, that was part one of Joseph Witt's exclusive interview with Rick Majors.
BT: We'll have part two on the next episode of NLCW Avulsion.
AJ: We've been told that in that part Majors talks about the situation with Dillon Durst.
BT: I'd love to know what's going on there...
COMMERCIAL BREAK
AJ: Ladies and gentlemen, coming up soon is tonight's big main event tag team match, as sanctioned by both the NLCW Board and Dade Midvalley, in order to prepare our title competitors for the upcoming When Worlds Collide pay-per-view spectacular by the NLCW!
BT: Reigning NLCW champions Dominic Pericolo and Drew Graham-- our World Heavyweight Champion and North American Champion respectively-- will be teaming up tonight despite a small bit of bad blood between the two since Dominic's return to the NLCW!
AJ: One of Graham's close friends, Carmine Vestieri, has been a regular rival of Dominic around the NLCW Heavyweight Title scene, and you can bet that Graham harbors some discontent towards Dominic for shutting his friend's title attempts down all the times they've met thus far.
BT: Their opponents, Christopher Champion and The Saint, are-- once again respectively-- the challengers to their titles this Sunday! These men both have equally rich histories in the NLCW, but the big question on everyone's mind is exactly how well Champion could possibly compete in higher profile matches like these when he's drained so much energy just to get here. The man's already on his last legs as it stands!
AJ: A very grim future ahead for the NLCW icon... we can only hope that Dominic's insistence for another test by Champion will prove to be the best idea. The last thing NLCW would ever want to see is the death of one of its most beloved competitors, and we've been performing ongoing investigations into the matter to try and provide as much help as possible to the ever-stubborn Chris Champion.
The cameras cut to the back, where we're in a very familiar setting to much earlier in the show. A darkened room with a single light, and a single man beneath it. His hands are still taped, though now he sits in his ring gear, prepared for the match with that faraway look still ever-present in his eyes. He begins to stand, knowing the time is near now for him to compete tonight... knowing that in only a matter of minutes, he will be fighting the one person he truly doesn't want to fight in the NLCW right now... the one person he fears he might not be able to see again by next year.
Dominic Pericolo: Guess I have no choice...
Dominic Pericolo stands for his tag match against Chris Champion, and he continues to stare into the darkness, that light still shining above him. Glancing up at it after a moment, Dominic's eyes seem to focus on the light as he squints, reaching up towards it ever-so-slowly, an expression on his face that no-one could expect.
A smirk as wide as it's ever been.
With a click, the light turns off, and a chuckle rings through the darkness of the room, the voice of Dominic Pericolo traveling through the shadows surrounding him. Finally, despite all the weight that's been piled on top of him... the champion has returned.
Dominic Pericolo: ... if I don't fight... he might just kill me instead.
There are footsteps, a light from the side of the room accompanying the sound of a door opening, as Dominic Pericolo finally prepares to leave his locker room for the first time all night, his eyes finally focused as the camera pans over.
Dominic Pericolo: Just a shame he couldn't have pulled this on me when he was at 100%. You're my brother, Chris... but this Sunday?
Dominic chuckles again, stepping out from the locker room as the camera begins to fade, picking up his final words before we transition back over to ringside.
Dominic Pericolo: You'll never stand a chance.
The crowd erupts into cheers at the prospect of Dominic finally going all out, knowing that Champion will do all the same. We fade to ringside, the main event just about ready to begin. The other three competitors are already in the ring. There's a long pause. The crowd begins to die down, awaiting what's next... and the arena is eerily quiet except for the murmurs of the crowd.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
A massive explosion rocks the rampway as the entire arena is bathed in a golden light, the mixed sounds of cello and piano playing throughout the arena as the beginning of "Viva La Vida (Instrumental Version)" by Coldplay kicks in, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Already slowly picking up in tempo alongside of the music, the crowd begins to chant "DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!", sparklers falling from the rafters and down in front of the entrance to the ramp, obscuring it from view.
A figure can now faintly be seen through the falling sparklers, making his way forward until he eventually steps through them, head lowered. The crowd continues their chants, an aura seemingly surrounding the stage as the man simply stands there for a moment, the music still playing, before he lifts himself up completely, standing straight atop the rampway and thrusting an arm into the air.
Dominic Pericolo lets a confident roar escape his lungs, fireworks go off the sides of the stage and the waterfall-esque sparklers slow to a stop.
A confident grin flashes across his face as Dominic stands before the fans all-too familiar to him, his arm lowering and his eyes fixing towards the ring, a place that has practically been a second home for him all his career. He begins to make his way down to that ring, his stride quick and confident. Along the way, Dominic Pericolo holds his arms out to the side to slap hands with the ringside fans along the way, and the crowd just keeps on chanting.
"DO-MO NIC! DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!"
Circling the ring, Dominic makes his way around it slapping the hands of fans along the way.
Making his way up the steel steps, Dominic pauses to stare out at the fans, a look in his eyes showing the gratitude he has for them, the appreciation he holds for all they've done... Dominic simply nods his head and flashes yet another grin. Entering into the ring, Dominic walks across it towards the other corner, climbing up the corner and lifting a fist into the air for the cheering fans. He steps down off the turnbuckle as his music begins to fade.
LW: And ladies and gentlemen, the final competitor in this match, he is the NLCW Undisputed World Champion: DOMINIC PERICOLO!!!!!!

BT: This is intense.
Champion takes a step back and raises his arms up, ready for a fight. Pericolo just stares at him. Champion now waits a second, and then hits Pericolo with a forearm to the face. Pericolo stumbles backwards a few steps. Champion approaches him now. Pericolo raises his fist, cocks for a punch, but then drops his arm to his side.
