August 2nd, 2009
United Center - Chicago, IL
We open in the backstage area as the camera crew looks to infiltrate a rather... odd area. The sound of a spluttering cough can be heard alongside the flushing of a lavatory. It seems that we’re in the men’s toilets! Suddenly, a familiar figure walks into view.
Dade Midvalley: Christ, I don’t even get a chance to take a piss these days! Time to let off some steam!
Midvalley strolls up to one of the urinals and begins to let rip with a big grin on his face. However, his attention is soon attracted by the sound of an awkward, raspy cough that is coming from one of the cubicles to his left.
Dade Midvalley: Hello? Who’s that?
The coughing continues and is soon followed by the sound of retching.
With a concerned look on his face, Midvalley zips his pants up and walks over to the cubicle. Midvalley knocks on the door.
Dade Midvalley: Hello? Are you okay in there?
Slowly, the toilet door opens.
Chris Champion: I’m fine, Dade. I think I’ve just got a bout of pre-match nerves, that’s all.
Midvalley takes a long hard look at Champion and shakes his head. Champion’s face looks to be as pale as a white sheet and his cheeks are slightly inflamed.
Dade Midvalley: You sure you’re ok, Champ? You don’t look too good. You going to be ok in this match tonight?
Chris Champion: It’s cool, Dade. I’m fine. Really, I am.
Dade Midvalley: Hmm. Well, so long as you’re sure?
Chris Champion: Jesus, Dade, how many fucking times do I have to tell you? I’m FINE.
Champion storms off out of the toilets in a huff as Dade Midvalley is left to scratch his head for a moment. With a shake of the head, he pulls out his cell phone and punches a few numbers in.
Dade Midvalley: Christine? Hi, yeah, it’s Dade. Can you please get me the number of the doctor that cleared Chris Champion to wrestle here tonight? Something isn’t right...
"Feel it coming in the air
Hear the screams from everywhere
I’m addicted to the the thrill
It’s a dangerous love affair
Can’t be scaring nickels down
Got a problem, tell me now
Only thing that’s on my mind
Is who gon’ run this town tonight
Is who gon’ run this town tonight
We gon’ run this town"
This is Roc Nation, pledge your allegiance
Get y’all fatigues on, all black everything
Black cards, black cars, all black everything
And our girls are blackbirds, riding with they Dillingers
I get more in-depth if you boys really real enough
This is La Familia, I’ll explain later
But for now, let me get back to this paper
I’m a couple bands down and I’m tryna get back"
"Run This Town" by Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West plays as we enter the arena. Pyro explodes and the fans are on their feet. The camera pans around The United as a sea of NLCW fans wave their signs and cheer!
I break the rules so I don’t care
So I keep doing my own thing
Walking tall against the rain
Victory’s within the mile
Almost there, don’t give up now
Only thing that’s on my mind
Is who gon’ run this town tonight?"
Aaron Jennings: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to NLCW Conflicting Values! I'm Aaron Jennings with me as always is Bryan Terwilliger!
Bryan Terwilliger: Good evening everyone! Not only is this NLCW Conflicting Values but the 1NE battle royal will take place tonight as well! Eleven competitors in an over-the-top-rope battle royal with a shot at the NLCW Undisputed World Championship on the line!
AJ: And, for the first time ever, we will see not just members of the NLCW competing in that battle royal, but we will also see competitors from F1X: Fighting One Xperience.
BT: But that's not all... no way! Tonight we will see three new NLCW superstars debut! The Saint, JaMarcus Allen and Jean Trick will square off in a triple threat match with a shot at the NLCW North American Championship on the line!
AJ: And then we have our title matches! They are rematches from last month at NLCW Eternity and the bad blood between the competitors in these matches has festered since then.
BT: For the North American title we will see Drew Graham face off against The Shiz. And, talking about personal rivalries... this is definitely personal.
AJ: These two men originally started a feud over Drew Graham's girlfriend Kelly Rien. She used to be with the Shiz and Graham loves to flaunt that fact.
BT: But's gotten much, more intense than that! On Avulsion on Wednesday night Drew Graham tried to hit the Shiz with a car!
AJ: And because of that attempted attack tonight's match is no holds barred! No count outs, no disqualifications and no Kelly Rien! There is going to be a winner here tonight!
BT: And another very intense rivalry will play out inside the ring here tonight as well. NLCW Undisputed World Champion Dominic Pericolo will face off against the former champ Carmine Vestieri.
AJ: Ever since Vestieri and Pericolo first met in the ring at Sultan of the Squared Circle in February a rivalry for the ages has been raging in the NLCW. I don't think I have seen such an intense rivalry between two men with such athletic talent in quite some time.
____
"Roll Out" hits the PA system as blue and yellow lights flash all over the arena. After a few moments a white Escalade pulls into the arena and slowly drives down the entrance ramp as some of the fans begin to cheer and others begin to boo. JaMarcus opens the drivers door of the Escalade and makes his way way to the ring, sliding in when he gets there. He stands on top of the turnbuckle aand hols up his fist and then jumps down, removing his necklaces and placing them by the ring post.
LW: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is a triple threat match, scheduled for one fall and is to name a new number one contender for the NLCW North American Championship! Introducing first, from Atlanta, GA: JaMARCUS ALLEN!!!
AJ: JaMarcus Allen, one of the three men making their NLCW debuts in this match.
BT: What an opportunity for these guys. They get to have their first match on pay-per-view with number one contendership on the line!
"Flashing Lights.
Thunder roars.
It's time for The One to be once more.
A legend was born.
A legend was lost.
His life decisions would be his cost.
Once it was pain.
Now it's gain.
Can he regain his long lost fame?"
If You Close Your Eyes plays over the PA System. As soon as The Saint steps out from behind the curtain the fans erupt in to cheers and start chanting his name. The Saint raises his left arm and looks around the arena at the fans. The Saint then lowers his arms and walks meaninfully down to the ring.
AJ: And his first opponent, from San Antonio, Texas: THE SAINT!!!
"Yeah, yeah
Tricky, let's show 'em some love
Welcome to Detroit!"
"Welcome to Detroit" plays and pyros explode around the ramp. Jean Trick appears in the entrance area. He raises his arms in the air as the audience cheers. He walks down the ramp with his arms up.
"Where's my gangstas and all my thugs?
Throw them hands up and show some love
And I Welcome you to Detroit City
I said welcome to Detroit City
Every place everywhere we go
Man we deep everywhere we roll
Ask around and they all know Tricky
That's whats good man they all say Tricky"
There are more pyros above the ring as Trick enters. He stands on the middle ropes, looking out at the audience, with his arms in the air as the crowd screams.
LW: And finally, from Detroit, MI: JEAN TRICK!!!
The Saint VS. JaMarcus Allen VS. Jean Trick
Standard Triple Threat Rules
The bell rings.
AJ: A lot on the line for these three men here tonight! You think they're nervous?
BT: It would be pretty hard for them not be be, don't you think?
As soon as the bell rings, The Saint gets nailed with a running clothesline from Jean Trick!
AJ: Woah!
BT: These guys are starting right away here tonight! Impressive!
Trick turns around and he's nailed with an elbow smash by Allen. Allen now turns his attention towards the Saint, who is just getting to his feet. Allen throws a punch at the Saint. The Saint blocks it. The Saint responds with a punch of his own. He then grabs JaMarcus Allen and drops him down to the mat with a side slam!
AJ: This is outstanding action already!
Jean Trick is up now. The Saint takes Jean Trick off his feet with a short-arm clothesline
BT: Short-arm clothesline!
AJ: The Saint is the only man standing right now.
Jean Trick climbs to his feet. The Saint kicks Jean Trick. Jean Trick with a punch. And another. And another. Jean Trick punches The Saint in the head. The Saint stumbles backwards. Jean Trick nails The Saint with a suplex.
Jean Trick gets up. Jean Trick measures The Saint up and drops a closed fist.

AJ: Again JaMarcus Allen breaks up the pin!
BT: Great ring presence there!
The Saint gets back to his feet. The Saint goes for a suplex but JaMarcus Allen blocks it. He attempts a suplex of his own. This time The Saint blocks it. Again the Saint tries a suplex. This time it works! The Saint suplexes Allen down to the mat! Jean Trick is on his feet now. The Saint drags Jean Trick to the mat with an arm drag.
BT: The Saint is now firmly in control.
Allen gets to his feet now. He hits Saint with a double axe handle to the spine. The Saint crumples to the mat. Allen now turns his attention to Jean Trick.
BT: That's the danger of a triple threat match. Just when you think you're in control, you get attacked from behind.
AJ: This match could end up a victory for any of these men at this point!
JaMarcus Allen uses a belly-to-belly suplex. Jean Trick is down.
Allen goes for a cover:
1...
2...
Jean Trick kicks out!
AJ: A kickout!
JaMarcus Allen gets to his feet. He hits a legdrop on Jean Trick. JaMarcus Allen gets up. The Saint clotheslines him down to the mat! The Saint pulls Trick up now, but he sends him crashing into the mat with a DDT! The Saint drops an elbow! He goes for a cover now:
1...
2...
BT: Another kickout!
Jean Trick shoves The Saint off of him and he gets back to his feet. Suddenly he gets hit with an elbow to the head by JaMarcus Allen. Allen now turns towards the Saint. As the Saint stands up, Allen hits him with a shoulder block. Allen with a cover now:
1...
2...
AJ: This time The Saint kicks out!
JaMarcus Allen is back on his feet. Suddenly John Trick tackles him down to the mat with a Lou Thez press! As Trick is unloading on Allen with punches, the Saint kicks him right in the side of the head! The Saint now covers Trick:
1...
2...
BT: And another kickout!
AJ: The action is fast and furious in this match!
Jean Trick gets back to his feet. Jean Trick hits JaMarcus Allen with the back of his elbow. Jean Trick hits a clothesline on JaMarcus Allen sending him to the mat. The Saint drops Trick to the mat with a double axe handle! The Saint sets Trick up and he hits him with a stalling vertical suplex!
AJ: Great power there by the Saint!
JaMarcus Allen gets back to his feet. The Saint picks up JaMarcus Allen and slams him on the mat.
BT: Allen getting back to his feet pretty quickly!
The Saint chops JaMarcus Allen. He then hits him with a back breaker. Saint then pulls Allen up. The Saint executes a huge gutbuster on JaMarcus Allen. The Saint punches JaMarcus Allen repeatedly. Suddenly Jean Trick hits The Saint with an elbow to the back of the head! He then pulls Saint up and bodyslams him down onto Allen! Trick then bounces off of the ropes and hits both Saint and Allen with a leg drop!
AJ: He crushed both men with that leg drop!
Trick now shoves Saint off of Allen. Jean Trick covers JaMarcus Allen:
1...
2...
BT: The Saint breaks up the pin!
The Saint pulls up Jean Trick. He sets him up and then sends him crashing down to the mat with a chokeslam!
BT: Chokeslam!
AJ: I think he calls that "God's Hand!"
The Saint grabs Allen now. He sets him up and delivers a stalling powerbomb!
AJ: And that is called the Last Rites!!!
The Saint goes for the cover on Allen:
1...
2...
3!!!
BT: The Saint has won the match!
LW: The winner of this match, and New Number One Contender for the NLCW North American Championship: The Saint!!!
AJ: The Saint will contend for the North American Title!
BT: And later tonight, we'll find out who he will face!
AJ: Well, ladies and gentlemen, last week Dominic Pericolo rallied the NLCW together in an effort to unify our forces against our common threat: the F1X roster.
BT: Knowing morale was low, knowing that Midvalley was about to have a conniption with the ammount of work piled in front of him... Pericolo came out to Avulsion for the first time since his title win and showed exactly why the man's a three-time World Champion of this place, and why many have called him a locker-room leader in times past.
AJ: NLCW's own interviewer, Kevin Ryder, caught up with Dominic last week as he arrived to the show, and that... well, that didn't exactly go over very well.
BT: Pericolo wasn't exactly in the best of moods to be fair, and Ryder... I mean, look at the guy, you wouldn't want to be hit with a mug like that in your face as you get out of your car after a long trip either, would you?
AJ: Nevertheless, rather than attempt to repeat his success from last week, Ryder opted to let Pericolo get into the building first before trying to catch up with him and... well, roll the tape.
____
The cameras fade to the back where we see Kevin Ryder smiling in front of the screen, standing in front of two large exit doors leading out to the parking garage of the arena. Ryder has an official NLCW microphone in his hands, and is obviously excited about the night to come.
KR: Ladies and gentlemen I am right by the entrance to the parking garage where just moments ago Dominic Pericolo and his family were reported as arriving at the arena. Now, Dominic Pericolo has a match tonight to defend his NLCW World Heavyweight Title, and one can only assume his wife chose to come with their son for added support for the decorated NLCW legend. I'm hoping to get a few questions out before he has to get ready here tonight, so stick around as we wait for Dominic to make his arrival!
Ryder turns around and waits anxiously in front of the doors, almost giddy with excitement it seems. Finally, after what seems to be a half-minute, the doors push open and Dominic Pericolo appears behind them, the fans in the arena erupting at the footage... and then erupting in laughter at what follows. Kevin Ryder immediately leaps forward, microphone held up to his lips.
KR: DOMINIC! YOU HAV--
Dominic Pericolo: WHAT THE F-- GAH!
Catching Ryder by one of his outstretched hands holding onto the mic, Dominic twists the interviewer's arm around and pulls him into a headlock, bringing him to the ground violently and putting his full weight down to keep him pinned, a panicked look on his face. The panic fades quickly, however, as he realizes who it is exactly he has pinned, and an exhasperated look appears on Dominic's face.
Dominic Pericolo: Sorry there, Kevin... you kind-of lunged at me though.
KR: Nrrr... prreb... em...
Dominic stands, releasing the dazed interviewer who seems all too content to remain on the floor, dazed and confused. Suki steps out with Ehno from behind Dominic, her eyebrow cocked as she holds the giggling baby boy in her arms, smirking softly.
Suki Pericolo: You are in dire need of something to do, aren't you Kevin?
A groan of pain is her only response, and Suki shakes her head in exhasperation all her own, tip-toeing up to kiss Dominic on the cheek and walk past him, smiling as she does.
Suki Pericolo: I'll see you in the locker-room, Domi... gotta change Ehno, I think Ryder might have triggered something back there.
Dominic Pericolo: Gotcha, see you there then... Kevin? You okay there man?
As Suki disappears from the camera's view, Dominic crouches by the fallen interviewer, his own eyebrow quirked as he shakes the seemingly out-cold man, obviously trying to hold back laughter as he does.
Dominic Pericolo: Did you... seriously pass out?! Oh, Chist... that's just... wow.
Sighing, Dominic loads Ryder's limp body up onto his shoulders and stands up fully, looking at the signs surrounding him on the arena walls, muttering to himself.
Dominic Pericolo: ... now where's our EMTs...
Dominic continues mumbling as he carts the unconcious NLCW interviewer off-camera, the shot slowly fading before we cut back to ringside, where Aaron and Bryan are desperately trying to hold back laughter and quite clearly failing to do so.
AJ: I mean... d-did you see the look on his face?!
BT: I just... I just... for as incompetent as he can be, Kevin Ryder is just... he's fucking hilarious.
AJ: And for those of you out there wondering how he's doing--
BT: -- for God knows what reason--
AJ: -- Ryder's already made a full recovery and is out and about backstage terrorizing other wrestlers and keeping a safe difference from Dominic for the time being. Seems he just got a little scared and blacked out, no real damage done in the end.
BT: And I love that fact.
AJ: Stick around, folks! More NLCW action coming up here shortly... it's been one hell of a night so far and it's only going to keep getting better from here!
____
Back at ringside, Dade Midvalley walks out onto the entrance ramp. He has a microphone in hand and he starts to speak.
Dade Midvalley: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for watching NLCW Conflicting Values: 1NE. I hope you are having a great night.
The crowd cheers.
DM: Later on, in that ring down there, the NLCW will prove that they are superior to F1X when one of our wrestlers wins the 1NE battle royal!
The crowd cheers once again.
DM: But that's not all I'm here to say tonight. I'm also here to make an announcement. You may have heard the rumours that I was at F1X headquarters a few days ago. Well, those rumours are true. I was involved in negotiations with Aiden Morag...
The crowd boos.
DM: I was in negotiations with Aiden Morag and we came to an agreement. We came to an agreement that at the next F1X event Aiden Morag will step into the ring with an NLCW representative. If Morag loses, he agrees that F1X will withdraw their bid to purchase the NLCW.
The crowd cheers.
AJ: WOW!
BT: That's big news!
AJ: But who will that representative be?
DM: So you're probably wondering who that person will be, right? Well, Aiden Morag has made a special request. He's asked that one particular person appear on F1X programming to face him. And so, on the next F1X event, Aiden Morag will face off against... ME!
AJ: WHAT!?
BT: Midvalley isn't a wrestler!
DM: Now, I'm not a wrestler, but I could not pass up the opportunity to get rid of F1X once and for all. So I will be taking Morag up on his offer! Enjoy the rest of the show!
With that Dade Midvalley heads back nto the backstage area.
BT: Huge news from Dade Midvalley!
AJ: But can he beat Morag!?
BT: I have no idea!
____
The night continues with the cameras cutting backstage, another wrestler to be interviewed or followed or what have you in what's proven thus far to be one hell of a night in the NLCW's history. However, this time, it's not just your average NLCW wrestler that the cameras are following around... it's one that many would consider to be above average, in fact. Someone who sends the crowd into a frenzy as soon as he appears on the screen.
Christopher Champion is striding through the halls of the arena, a confident smirk on his face. The cameras follow in close, obviously there to capture the confidence of the NLCW legend as he prepares for his match tonight... and, suddenly, that confidence vanishes. The smirk fades as Champion rounds a corner in the halls, and in its place comes an unsure expression. The camera pans back, the fans murmering in confusion... until the figures Champ has came upon are suddenly in view.
Dominic Pericolo and his wife, Suki, now stand in front of Champion, their child in Dominic's arms. An awkward silence fills the hall as they stare at each other, each seemingly reluctant to say the first word. Finally, someone speaks up...
Chris Champion: Umm, long time no see?
That didn't seem to help any. Dominic and Suki look at each other, neither really willing to respond at first. A slightly frustrated look comes upon Dominic's face as he turns to face Champion, looking ready to say something back to hopefully diffuse the awkwardness surrounding them.
Dominic Pericolo: Wh--
SMACK!
The crowd gasps. Out of nowhere, Suki steps forward, eyes watering and face set in an expression of mixed emotions, of anger and sympathy. Her hand is fast, fast enough at least that Champion and even Dominic are caught off guard when she reaches up and smacks Champion across his face, turning his head to the side from the impact. There's a long pause now, as Champion tenderly reaches up to touch at his face where Suki slapped him, Suki all the while staring up at him, a few tears spilling out. Finally, she lowers her hand and steps forward towards Champion, hugging him and lowering her gaze.
Dominic smiles softly, a look of concern still on his face but much more faded. He glances up at Champion, nodding his head slightly.
Dominic Pericolo: Yeah... long time no see, Chris.
Chris Champion: Look, I know that guys are likely to be angry with me. For good reason too. I've had a hard time these past few months though. I'm trying to... move on with my life.
There's a small laugh that escapes Suki's lips, as she pulls back slightly and glances up at Chris, her eyes lightened considerably since a few moments before as she shakes her head at him.
Suki Pericolo: Angry? Angry?! Chris, I don't know about Dominic but I'm furious with you! I'm so angry with you I... I can't even think straight about it! But you... I know you didn't mean to, I know it was a mistake and I know you and everyone else has probably been giving you hell ever since, so... it's okay, Chris... I won't go off on you for all of that...
Dominic steps forward, nodding his head in agreement and placing one hand on Champion's shoulder, his other arm still cradling Ehno. He shakes his old friend and rival slightly, a small grin on his face as he does so.
Dominic Pericolo: But with that said... you have a phone, right? You could have at least called at some point! Was kind-of weird to have our best friends and the godparents of our child fade out of our lives out of nowhere. We were worried.
Chris Champion: There's somethings you have to face alone. I wanted to call. I really did. But I couldn't. You would only understand if you were put in that situation. I'm back on speaking terms with Georgina, you know. We're making an effort for Cesar. He's the one I'm concerned about the most in the middle of all of this. I've been through so much since I last saw you, guys. I'm not the same person that you knew. I've changed. It's taken a long time but I've done a lot of soul searching and I think my head is screwed on right now.
Dominic and Suki smile, the both of them taking a step back and wrapping an arm around each other. Ehno stirs in Dominic's free arm but for the most part has managed to stay asleep the whole time, completely passed out in his father's embrace. Dominic glances down at his son, then back up to Champion, sighing and nodding his head.
Dominic Pericolo: If you're making an effort for Cesar then I'd say things... things are going better for you, and I'm really glad to hear that. As for you not being the same person... you've changed, yeah, and probably for the better... but there's still parts to you that are still the same self-promoting, over-the-top, loves-to-make-an-entrance Chris Champion who's always been there to give me hell in the past and decided to make a comeback to the NLCW to do it again, and... well, I'm glad to have him back.
Suki Pericolo: We both are, Chris, we... we missed you guys.
Ehno stirs, crying softly and shifting his body in Dominic's arms. Suki looks over and gently takes Ehno from his dad, making soft noises to him and slowly rocking him in her arms. It manages to put the young child back to sleep, as Dominic watches for a moment with a smile before turning back towards Chris, a serious look on his face now.
Dominic Pericolo: So... you're in the battle royale tonight, then?
Chris Champion: Yeah, and I have been meaning to talk to you about that. I know what you must be thinking. It's not like that at all. Midvalley left me about 20 messages trying to get me to come back because he's short on numbers. I flicked on the TV screen and saw that the troops were struggling. These F1X guys are coming across thinking that they're going to win this match and eventually take over the company; I can't let that happen. It'll be a huge nail in the coffin of NLCW if one of their guys wins this match. I'm back out of respect for the place that helped put me on the map. This isn't about trying to win back the World title. It's different this time.
Dominic nods, crossing his arms over his chest.
Dominic Pericolo: Well, I figured as much... I've been in close touch with Midvalley as of late, the poor guy's been stressed out and with the way our Board's been acting, I can't blame him. Listen, Chris... I respect why you're back and I understand completely why you're doing what you are, it's just... you and I both know if you're as changed as you say you are that there isn't a damn person out there who's going to stop you. And with how Carmine's been mouthing off recently about the NLCW... I'm not about to just roll over and let him take this title from me. You and I both are fighting for the same reasons, to save the NLCW... but you know where this is going to lead to in the end, right?
Chris Champion: Of course I do. Believe me, I wish there was some other way. I was happy with our last match; it seemed like a fitting way to end everything, you know. I was ready for retirement. This is out of my control though. I'm doing this for the company. When I'm satisfied that this place is in good hands again, I'll walk away once more - and hopefully for good this time. I can't say that the lure of coming back hasn't been getting me excited though. Retirement is just... a void. I didn't know what to do with myself. That's what caused all of my problems. I think wrestling again will be good for my soul. I just hope my body holds up. The doctor barely cleared me to compete. He doesn't want me to do it, but... this is my life and I have to help out.
Dominic Pericolo: To be honest, Chris... I'm glad you're back. I couldn't stay away for very long either, and you know that. We've been through that song and dance, it just wasn't my time to retire but I did it because it felt like it was... and in the end it's worked out great for my family and I, it put me in a position that allowed me to collect a lot of money for us in the end. I'm back now though because I love the NLCW and I want to see it survive... like I said, we're fighting for the same reason, but when it comes down to it, it's going to be you and me standing off again.
The crowd roars at the prospect of yet another Champion versus Pericolo match, as Dominic uncrosses his arms and chuckles softly, a small smile on his face.
Dominic Pericolo: Truth be told... I'm honestly glad. You and I going at it again... it feels like that's going to be for the best of the company too. Guys like Carmine think we're just in it for ourselves now, that you and I will face off and when the dust settles we'll be gone again, but... we both have different reasons this time. It's not about finishing our stories like it was before, it's... it's helping the NLCW continue its own. And truth be told, Chris... I think it's going to be better this time. I think, I think that... we've got something other than ourselves that we're fighting for, and that's going to make a big difference.
Dominic holds out his hand for a handshake, that smile never leaving his face.
Dominic Pericolo: Besides... those scrubs couldn't ever draw the numbers you and I do together. There's no better match to help this place than us, and you know that. So let's go out there tonight and do what we both know we need to do, not for us, but... for the NLCW.
Chris Champion: It's time for this place to get back on its feet... and that starts tonight. Good luck for your match. I'm going to go out there and keep my side of the bargain... just make sure you keep yours.
Suki Pericolo: It was good to see you again, Chris... we need to get together again sometime.
They shake hands, Dominic and Champion never breaking eye contact as they do so.
Dominic Pericolo: Suki's right, you know... care to get together and celebrate tonight? Because you know I'm good for my end, Chris... as far as I'm concerned, tonight is a foregone conclusion. We'll go out there and show F1X, and remind everyone left in the NLCW, what it means to have no limits... and we can head out after and catch up when we've less things to focus on coming up ahead of us. Sound good?
Chris Champion: You can count on it.
Suki and Dominic step to the side, letting Champion go through between them. Champ stops to give Suki a half-hug, careful of Ehno, and then slaps hands with Dominic before heading off. Dominic steps back in and wraps his arm around Suki, who holds their son in both her arms as the two walk off camera as well, the camera fading out as they do so.

LW: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is a NO HOLDS BARRED contest, and it is for the NLCW North American Championship!!!
The crowd cheers!
The arena lights fade out as JFK is heard coming through the loudspeakers
[JFK talking]
To a new generation of Americans.
[Nixon talking]
I must put the interest of America first. People have got to know whether or not their president’s a crook. Well I’m not a crook.
[Slaine]
I’m an American
[Charles Manson]
United States of America is the demon of the world.
~ A huge blast of pyro goes off as Slaine begins his verse ~
[Verse 1: Slaine]
I’m a product of America, youth psychotic from narcotics
Born consumers and STD’s, yeah I got it
A victim of a media machine, violence and lust
Top to bottom and greedy in between
I’m a menace with big dreams
And no morals to stop me from none
I gotta get mine, that’s why I went and copped me a gun
Police’d put me in a cage if they could lock me in one
These dudes’d kill me out of jealousy, they’d pop me and run
Shit I’m bloodthirsty too, we were raised with foul ways
It’s in everything we watch and listen to nowadays
When the younger kids are way more depraved
With a hunger for beef, some’ll run around the neighbourhood crazed
Land of the free, home of the brave, my world is a morgue
One day I’ll lay alone in a grave, still my dome is enslaved
In the haze of the power I crave
I can’t help it, this is how I was raised
~ The crowd starts cheering as Drew Graham steps out from the curtains and poses for the fans. He then makes his way down to the ring slapping hands as he does ~
[Verse 2: Ill Bill]
My synergy’s a conspiracy, I hit the scene like spinning guillotines
Villains creep through your village deep while idiots sleep
I’m awake, dominate, annihilate, I violate
Obliterate, incinerate, exterminate, I’m an American
Murder, hate, violence and war, tyrants galore
Riots and more, a violent uproar, the rise of the poor, we monitor all
Everybody signed at the door
So walk out now or you may never survive at all
We murder capitals, turn hometowns to homicides
TNT tinted Econolines
My take on society’s beyond the fabrications that they prophesized
Colonize through modern lies
Economize and sodomize
Humanity everyday, vanity scrape
Gravity take hold of your sanity, wait
This is not an exercise, this is real life
Salvage your fate, contaminated planet of hate
The children sing a passage of faith
Lavish taste was a trait of Alexander the Great
Savage grace gravitate to mathematics & space
Like Dr. Malachi when the hidden cameras invade
Get shafted and played like the others these cannibals ate - I’m an American
~ Drew climbs into the ring and walks over to the middle of the ring as the chorus plays. ~
[Chorus]
[Everlast (excerpt from "America The Beautiful" in the background)]
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.
[Ill Bill (cut by Lethal)]
I need a blowjob and a pizza
[Ill Bill (repeatedly)]
I’m an American
~ Drew strips his shirt off and tosses it into the crowd as the music fades out and he waits for his opponent ~
LW: Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California: DREW GRAHAM!!!
♫ Modest to the top...
Modest at the top ♫
"Modest" by Peroxwhy?gen hits the loud speakers and the audience erupt with cheer. Lime green lights flash around the arena for a few seconds before The Shiz walks out from the curtain. He makes his way to the far end of the stage where he mouths something while pointing into the audience.
♫ Straight to the top
And then keep on headin' up
Stars shine for why
We should give a fuck
About what is real
And how real is still
The only way for us
To feel the pain it's ♫
He returns to center stage where he shields his eyes from the bright lights with his hand, scanning the countless faces then promptly heads down the ramp towards the ring.
♫ Sometimes deals
In a way that survives
The struggles we face
In this life there's a lot
Time can't erase showcase the skills you were given
At birth live your life here for what it's worth show off the style you
Perfect in life show off the way
To make it right ♫
LW: And his opponent, From Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 206 pounds, he is the NLCW North American Champion: THEEEEE SHIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZ!!!!
At the base of the ramp The Shiz pauses his trek to the ring in order to get a better look around the arena now that he's at ringside.
♫ Make it...
To the top of Mt.Profession
Rule it...
'Til you feel there's nothing more
For you to do
Or say...
None of you better get in my way
Comin' down...
If you do you'll be back on level ground ♫
The camera slowly makes a 360 around him before he walks over to the near ring steps and climbs up to the ring apron. Shiz heads along the apron prior to ascending the outside of the turnbuckle. With one foot planted on the top turnbuckle, The Shiz once again shields his eyes from the lights and does long pan of the fans in attendance.
♫ Modest to the top...
Modest at the top
Features that keep your head up high
I am a star that shines for why
We should give a thought to our life
And the way we live both day and night ♫
He then steps off the top turnbuckle, landing inside the ring. Pacing back and forth, he removes his vest and tosses it over the rope, ready for the match to begin.

The Shiz © VS. Drew Graham
No Count Out, No Disqualification, No Kelly Rien
AJ: Can you imagine what is going through The Shiz's mind right now? Drew Graham could have killed him on Wednesday night. He could have actually killed him And now the two men are facing off in the ring in a match with no rules.
BT: This will not be for the weak at heart!
AJ: I think that is going to prove to be an understatement!
The two men circle each other as the bell rings. They then face off in the center of the ring. Suddenly The Shiz pushes Drew Graham backwards. Graham rushes forward and shoves the Shiz. The Shiz now leaps at Graham, taking his legs out from under him! The Shiz now starts unloading on Graham with rights and lefts!
AJ: Oh yeah! The Shiz unloading on Graham with closed fists!
BT: And the referee can't do anything about it! He's only here to count a pinfall or accept a submission!
Graham tries to cover up, but the Shiz is relentless! The Shiz now stands up and he pulls Graham up. He throws him into the corner. The Shiz now kicks Graham right in the chest. He then stomps on Graham in the corner.
AJ: All of that frustration is coming out of the Shiz right now!
BT: Drew Graham is going to have to do something soon, or this match could end quickly!
Graham tries to stand up, but the Shiz shoves him back into the corner. The Shiz hits him with an elbow in the side of the head. The Shiz kicks him in the chest once again as Graham is slumped in the corner. The Shiz now chokes Graham with his foot, holding onto the ropes for leverage.
AJ: This is just brutal!
The Shiz now drops an elbow right into Graham's chest. He then pulls him up, sets him up, and drops him down to the mat with a DDT. The Shiz now drops an elbow to Graham's spine. He then slides out of the ring and returns with a steel chair! The crowd explodes!
AJ: Oh baby... this will not be good for Drew Graham!
As Graham staggers to his feet, The Shiz absolutely levels him with a steel chair shot to the head!
BT: My God what a shot! WHAT A SHOT!
Graham collapses to the mat in the heap. His face is quickly covered in blood. The Shiz looks out at the crowd and smiles. He then walks over and stands above Graham. He lifts the chair up above his head.
AJ: And the Shiz isn't done yet! He's going to drive that chair right into Drew Graham's heart!
The Shiz pauses for a moment and then he sends the end of the steel chair crashing into Drew Graham's chest! The crowd cheers. The Shiz lifts the chair up again.
BT: And he's going to do it again!
AJ: NO!
Drew Graham, in desperation, swings his leg up and he hits the Shiz in the crotch with a kick.
BT: Well... that'll slow the Shiz down.
AJ: OUCH!!!
The Shiz crumples to the mat, holding his groin. Drew Graham slowly backs up, sliding along the mat. He slides over to the ropes and uses them to pull himself up. As he gets to his feet he steadies himself and he waits for the Shiz, who is staggering to his feet as well. The Shiz is now standing, but bent over. Drew Graham suddenly runs at him and hits him with a stiff front kick to the face! The Shiz staggers backwards, holding his face!
AJ: Oooh!
BT: The had to hurt!
Graham now charges at the Shiz and he clotheslines him down to the mat! Graham now picks up the steel chair. He waits for the Shiz to stand up and he drives the chair into Shiz's ribs! With Shiz now doubled over, Graham cracks the chair onto Shiz's spine! Shiz collapses to the mat! Graham now drives the corner of the chair directly into Shiz's spine! And again. And again. And again! The Shiz manages to roll out of the ring to avoid further injury.
BT: That's great ring presence there by the Shiz.
Graham follows Shiz to the outside. He reaches under the ring and he pulls out another chair. He tosses that to the floor. He goes back under the ring and produces a table. The crowd cheers. Graham sets up the table at ringside. The Shiz is slowly getting to his feet. Graham grabs him by the back of the head and he slams him face-first into the ring apron. Graham, still holding on Shiz's hair, drags him over towards the table. Graham once again slams Shiz face-first, this time into the table!
AJ: Drew Graham just slammed the Shiz face-first into that table!
Graham slams the Shiz's face into the table once again. He then pulls him towards him, sets him up, and powerbombs him through the table! The crowd explodes!
BT: A POWERBOMB THROUGH THE TABLE!
AJ: THE SHIZ COULD BE SERIOUSLY INJURED HERE!
BT: HA!
Graham now pulls the Shiz to his feet. The Shiz collapses back down to the floor. Graham reaches down and picks up the steel chair! He now drives the chair into Shiz's spine!
AJ: The Shiz's back must be in serious pain right now.
BT: Oh yeah!
The Shiz clutches his back and screams in pain. Graham drives the chair into his spine once again. He then drops the chair to the floor.
AJ: Graham might want to rolls Shiz into the ring and go for a cover. I doubt Shiz could kick out.
BT: He could be the new North American champion!
Graham smiles. He pulls the Shiz to his feet. He now grabs him around the waist and slams him spine first into the ring post!
AJ: I guess Graham wants to cause more pain first!
Graham now slides the Shiz back into the ring. He enters the ring himself and goes for a cover:
1...
2...
AJ: HE KICKED OUT!!! HOW DID THE SHIZ KICK OUT!?
Graham angrily pulls the Shiz up. He sets him up for a DDT. Shiz charges forwards and he drives Graham spine-first into the turnbuckle! Shiz fights free and he drives his shoulder into Graham's midsection. The Shiz now grabs Graham by the head and he sends him down to the mat with a DDT of his own! The Shiz stays down on the mat, clutching his spine.
BT: I don't think the Shiz can stand up on his own power.
AJ: His back is in bad shape.
Graham actually manages to get to his feet first. He drops an elbow onto Shiz's spine. He then slowly starts to climb to the top ropes.
AJ: Graham going upstairs.
BT: You have to wonder what he's going to try.
The Shiz suddenly lunges forward and he dives towards the turnbuckle. He hits it, causing Graham to fall backwards off of the ropes and to the outside.
AJ: Desperation move by the Shiz!
BT: But it paid off! Graham just crashed to the floor with a thud!
The Shiz slowly tries to get to his feet. He uses the ropes for help. He then continues pulling himself up, until he is on the top ropes.
AJ: The Shiz is on the top rope, looking down at Graham on the outside!
BT: I don't think this is a wise move!
The Shiz leaps off of the ropes! Graham suddenly stands up and he pulls a steel chair in front of him! The Shiz collides head-first into the chair!
AJ: BOOM!
Graham slowly gets to his feet. He reaches under the ring and he pulls out another table! He then goes back under the ring and emerges with a small bottle.
AJ: What is that?
Graham opens the bottle and he pours it onto the table. He then reaches back under the ring and he is holding something else in his hand.
BT: Is that... is that a book of matches?
AJ: I think Drew Graham has just poured lighter fluid on that table and now he's going to set it on fire!
BT: No way!
Suddenly the Shiz tackles Graham from behind. He unloads on him with punches. The Shiz then uses the apron as balance to hold himself up. He waits for Graham to get to his feet. Once he does The Shiz clotheslines him down to the floor. He then reaches under the ring and pulls out a 2X4!
AJ: The Shiz has a 2X4 now!
Graham slowly stands up. The Shiz hits him in the stomach with the 2X4. Graham is doubled over. The Shiz lifts the 2X4 up and he cracks it across Graham's spine! Graham collapses to the floor in a heap.
BT: Brutal!
The Shiz now reaches down and he picks up the match book. The crowd explodes as the Shiz lights a match. He tne drops the match on the table, setting it ablaze!
AJ: The table is on fire! The table is on fire!
The Shiz now pulls Graham up. He sets him up for a powerbomb! As he lifts him up though, he collapses down to the floor. Graham lands on top of him. Graham now starts unloading with punches.
AJ: The Shiz's back gave out!
BT: He's taken a beating all match!
Graham now stands up. He pulls the Shiz to his feet. Graham lifts The Shiz up over his head!
AJ: Military Press!
BT: How does he have the strength!?
Drew Graham now drops the Shiz right down onto the burning table! It doesn't break!
AJ: The Shiz is face-first on that burning table!
BT: And it's not broken! The Shiz is on fire!!!
The Shiz frantically rolls off of the table. He is actually on fire! Drew Graham now sets Shiz up. He lifts him up into powerbomb position, but then he flips The Shiz over and he drives him through the flaming table with a facebuster!
AJ: THE SHIZ JUST WENT FACE-FIRST THROUGH THAT FLAMING TABLE!
BT: My God! MY GOD! I have never seen anything like this in my life!!!!!!
The crowd is on their feet. "HOLY SHIT" chants explode throughout the building! Drew Graham stands up. He pulls the Shiz off of the remains of the table. He then slowly rolls the Shiz into the ring. He now rolls into the ring himself. The Shiz is struggling to get to his feet. Graham now grabs him by the head and he hits him with a Stunner!
AJ: THE TELEGRAM!!!
BT: IT'S GOTTA BE OVER NOW!
Drew Graham now goes for a cover:

The bell rings. The referee hands Graham the NLCW North American Championship! EMTs rush into the ring to attend to the Shiz.
LW: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and NEW NLCW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION: DREW GRAHAM!!!
AJ: What carnage. What absolute brutality.
BT: That was completely ridiculous.
AJ: EMTs are treating the Shiz right now. He could have suffered very serious burns.
BT: And Drew Graham is celebrating with the NLCW North American Championship.

AJ: Folks, we’re having a hell of a night here. This PPV has been everything that we thought it would be and then some, but it has been slightly tainted by shocking news that Chris Champion has been rushed from the arena into hospital.
BT: Tonight was supposed to be Champ’s big comeback in the battle royal match, but he sure didn’t look in good condition afterwards.
AJ: We’re trying to get word on Champion’s condition as we speak and as soon as we have any further information about him, we’ll be sure to pass it on.

BT: That was a pleasure to watch. LW: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match and NEEEWWWWWW NLCW UNDISPUTED CHAMPION: DOMINIC PERICOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! |
AJ: Pericolo and Vestieri have faced off in two absolutely outstanding matches.
BT: And Dominic Pericolo has been victorious both times.
AJ: And that has driven Vestieri mad. Listen to his comments from Wednesday night on Avulsion.
NLCW Avulsion July 29th, 2009 Carmine Vestieri: “...let’s face facts, each and every time we step into the ring with each other the guy has gotten my number. And you can say it’s because of a number of things, maybe Dom is just better than me, maybe Dom is right about it not being my time, maybe it’s Dom political figure with the board. I call it luck." Carmine Vestieri: “This is why I am going into Conflicting Values not only to become a two time world champion, but to put the final nail into the coffen of Dom’s career and finally pull the plug on NLCW” Carmine Vestieri: “Dom might care what chants you peasants have to chant. He might care what you people think. He might care what merchandise he sells or what ‘status’ he puts himself into. He can sell and have a million more chants than me but he will never have a million more than me. Let’s say I’m resting comfortably on eight figures thanks to F1X, a deal NLCW couldn’t even afford to pay their best superstars.” Carmine Vestieri: “There isn’t going to be much left after 1NE. The uncrowned rookie of the year is going to put you through the ring Dom, I’m going to make sure that this time you stay down. You’re going to be made to look like a fool and when you do… don’t come to me looking for solace. You will be lying through the middle of the ring and when you try and get up from the hole I will put my foot over the top of your head and curbstomp you back to where you came from.” Carmine Vestieri: “Below me.”
BT: And Dominic Pericolo did not take Vestieri's comments about the NLCW lightly..
NLCW Avulsion July 29th, 2009 Dominic Pericolo: "So, this Sunday? Carmine Vestieri and I... we're going to go out there, and we're going to tear the house down. This Sunday, in the Battle Royale for the number one contendership for this title... an NLCW wrestler, a fighter representing the best God damned wrestling federation out there today... is going to pull out the win. This Sunday, the F1X guys are going to come to our territory and see just what we're capable of, and they're going to see why shutting down a place like this is nothing but a bad move made for the wrestling community. This place has way too much history, way too much potential for the future, and way too many talented wrestlers to just give up and walk out on. And, when the dust settles that night, we will show the Board of Directors, all the NLCW's investors, and whoever the hell else wants to show up from time to time to wave their dicks around for a power trip, just who the hell we are, and just why we call this place what we do. We will remind them, and we will show F1X... that we cannot be stopped, and we have NO. FUCKING. LIMITS!"

We fade to the back hallways, where Dominic Pericolo is fully dressed in his ring gear, fists taped up and World Title Belt strapped around his waist. He's looking calm and determined, completely focused on what's at hand... and he's got a look in his eyes that shows he's ready to kill.
AJ: Pericolo looking intense and focused back there... up next he'll be defending his championship against Carmine Vestieri, their third singles match with each other in their careers.
BT: Vestieri of course laying down the threat last week that he would be defecting from the NLCW tonight, looking to take the title with him after beating Dominic down...
AJ: But just by the look in his eyes you can tell Dominic's not about to let things go down that easy. Nevermind the fact that it is Dominic Pericolo, who has been described in the past as something of a human Energizer battery.
The sound of footsteps suddenly join Dominic's own, as he stops to watch as the person approaching him from off-camera makes their way on. The crowd begins to cheer as they see the man before Dominic, the man trying his best to lead the NLCW forward through all the struggles they're facing... the acting CEO and individual representative of the Board of Directors: Dade Midvalley. The two men stare each other down, a silent understanding in their eyes as they do. Finally, Midvalley reaches his hand up for a shake, and Dominic takes it in his own.
Dominic Pericolo: I'm not going to fail tonight, Dade... I promise that.
Dade Midvalley: I know, Dominic... just make sure you show that punk what it means to have no limits, alright? Maybe he'll see what a stupid move he made if you beat the sense into him.
Dominic Pericolo: You got it, Dade... and hey, the night's gone great so far, you've done a fine job. If nothing else, I can promise you this: there's not a chance NLCW loses a damn thing here tonight, alright? We're going to do just fine.
Dade Midvalley: Yeah... I know. I've done all I can, it's been up to you guys tonight and thus far things have gone far better than expected. Just... keep the ball rolling to the finish, alright?
Dominic Pericolo: Not going to be a problem. Now get out of here, man... try and relax. I've got a match to fight.
Dade Midvalley: Ha, sounds good... alright, you get out there. Good luck, Dominic.
Dominic starts to walk off, but raises a hand when Dade mentions luck, chuckling softly and turning around as he shakes his index finger, a grin ever-present on the World Champion's face.
Dominic Pericolo: In a match like this, Dade? Please... luck'll have nothing to do with it.
And with that, the crowd erupts into cheers and Dominic begins his trek off camera, Dade Midvalley sighing in relief and smiling to himself, knowing that somehow, someway... the night would end with the NLCW victorious.
All the while, the fans begin that iconic chant once again, awaiting the main event of the evening... awaiting Dominic Pericolo's arrival to face Carmine Vestieri.
Fade to ringside.
____
Three Six Mafia’s ‘Who run it’ plays throughout the arena and the lights strobe red, white and green around the entrance way as Carmine Styles is risen up from the bottom of the stage. Once he is fully on the stage Red, White and Green pyro shot up right in front of him as he walks out. Wearing his custom Blue Italian soccer shirt and the Italian flag hanging from the front of his pants. He looks out into the crowd, surveying the masses, before stepping out into the aisle way and throws his arms out (ala Orton). At which point pyro’s shoot off all the way down the ramp. Once he’s at ringside Carmine wastes no time getting into the ring. Where he climbs the turnbuckle standing on the middle rope at the far post and poses with his arms up just as he did at the top of the entranceway.
There's a long pause. The crowd begins to die down, awaiting what's next... and the arena is eerily quiet except for the murmurs of the crowd.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
A massive explosion rocks the rampway as the entire arena is bathed in a golden light, the mixed sounds of cello and piano playing throughout the arena as the beginning of "Viva La Vida (Instrumental Version)" by Coldplay kicks in, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Already slowly picking up in tempo alongside of the music, the crowd begins to chant "DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!", sparklers falling from the rafters and down in front of the entrance to the ramp, obscuring it from view.
A figure can now faintly be seen through the falling sparklers, making his way forward until he eventually steps through them, head lowered. The crowd continues their chants, an aura seemingly surrounding the stage as the man simply stands there for a moment, the music still playing, before he lifts himself up completely, standing straight atop the rampway and thrusting an arm into the air.
Dominic Pericolo lets a confident roar escape his lungs, fireworks go off the sides of the stage and the waterfall-esque sparklers slow to a stop.
A confident grin flashes across his face as Dominic stands before the fans all-too familiar to him, his arm lowering and his eyes fixing towards the ring, a place that has practically been a second home for him all his career. He begins to make his way down to that ring, his stride quick and confident. Along the way, Dominic Pericolo holds his arms out to the side to slap hands with the ringside fans along the way, and the crowd just keeps on chanting.
"DO-MO NIC! DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!"
Circling the ring, Dominic makes his way around it slapping the hands of fans along the way.
Making his way up the steel steps, Dominic pauses to stare out at the fans, a look in his eyes showing the gratitude he has for them, the appreciation he holds for all they've done... Dominic simply nods his head and flashes yet another grin. Entering into the ring, Dominic walks across it towards the other corner, climbing up the corner and lifting a fist into the air for the cheering fans. He steps down off the turnbuckle as his music begins to fade, and turns around to face his opponent.

AJ: Ladies and gentlemen, the 1NE battle royal is up next.
BT: Traditionally the battle royal has taken place on a pay-per-view of the same name, but this year it is featured as the main attraction of NLCW Conflicting Values.
AJ: The first 1NE battle royal in NLCW history took place in 2005. And the result was definitely bizarre...
1NE Winner Battle Royal for a World Heavyweight Championship Match Tony Roberts VS. Mark Ray VS. Phil Castle VS. Souless VS. Andon Davis VS. Matt Sabien VS. Havoc VS. The Express VS. The Lokian NLCW 1NE Sunday July 24th, 2005 Souless locked in a waistlock on Castle and refused to go down to the unique move Phil had planned. Instead, Souless locked his legs under the top turnbuckle, grapsed the ringpost with his ankles and.. AJ: An overhead toss from the top rope! Good God Almighty! Castle's back taking the full impact.. from the top rope to the security wall.. and we are going to need some EMTs out here.. and I mean now. BT: Need some help.. AJ: My God.. that was.. that was INSANE. I mean take another look at this folks.. my God. LW: Um.. Phil.. Phil Castle has been eliminated. A replay, in slow motion, is shown. The fans begin a "HOLY SHIT" chant as Souless tries to negotiate his way off the top rope. He untangles himself just before Sabien and Havoc disengage from grappling one another to take a run at Souless. Both men tumble over the top rope, but remain on the apron. AJ: All Souless has to do is take then down! And he wins! Souless bounces off the far rope and looks for a basic shoulderblock to knock the two men to the floor. But both rookies drop down at the same time.. but hang on the top rope. Souless goes flying over the top rope, nearly hitting a medic who was tending to Phil Castle. The champion is strapped to a stretcher as the crowd continues to chant HOLY SHIT. LW: Souless has been eliminated. BT: Now two men.. both hanging on by a thread! AJ: A test of wills here.. and look! BT: I'll be damned! Both men grasping each other with their legs! AJ: Well this isn't American Gladiators.. what.. hey wait! BT: Talk about dragging one another down! Both men continue to weigh on the top rope, both refusing to let go of the wire and of one another. Then.. a SNAP his heard! AJ: Oh my God! It just.. broke! BT: The top rope Aaron.. just SNAPPED OFF THE RINGPOSTS! AJ: And both men are on the floor mat now... Who the hell has won this?! What a bizarre ending here! LW: Ladies.. and gentlemen.. the winner.. um.. the winners of this match are.. dammit.. BT: What? What did she say? LW: Ladies and gentlemen, due to both men landing simultaneously, the NLCW officials have ruled this match a draw.. between Matt Sabien and Havoc! All other men in this match will be given a loss. AJ: What the hell does that mean? Who faces Ethan tonight? BT: And on top of that.. our ring needs to be fixed.
AJ: Matt Sabien and Havoc BOTH ended up facing Ethan Andrews later that night. Neither man was successful and Andrews retained the NLCW Heavyweight Championship.
BT: In 2006 things were a little different. This time the NLCW Heavyweight Championship was vacant and the winner of the match became the new champion!
AJ: It was also a "King of the Mountain" match as opposed to a traditional battle royal and it was quite the match!
1NE King of the Mountain Match NLCW World Heavyweight Championship Violent A -vs- Dominic Pericolo -vs- Bucky Skyler -vs- Frank Merritt -vs- Shane Perry -vs- Alex Jay -vs- Kindred London NLCW 1NE Sunday July 30th, 2006 Alex Jay launches himself into the air, towards the ladder. Dominic pulls himself up and rolls into the ring. He staggers to his feet as Violent A sees him. A begins to climbs faster but realises he has to fasten the title back up to hang it. It slows him down, allowing enough time for Dominic to hobble to the ladder. He starts climbing, slowly and gets hit with a right hand from A. Dominic fights his way to the same level as Violent A and the two begin exchanging shots. Dominic gets the upper hand as the fans cheers his every punch. A reels, holding onto the ladder for support. Dom hits the canvas hard, falling from the height of the ladder, leaving Alex Jay alone. AJ: Alex Jay! Alex Jay is going to do it! Alex grabs the title and lifts it up, looping it over the hook. AJ: Alex Jay has done it! BT: Oh my god! LW: Ladies and gentlemen…the winner of the match…and NEW NLCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD…ALEX JAY! BT: Oh my god! Alex Jay hoists down the title and clutches it to his chest tightly. AJ: Alex Jay has become the NLCW World Heavyweight Champion! BT: Oh my god! AJ: Alex Jay – a veteran of NLCW, who has always been close to greatness, who has never reached his potential, up until now. Today, his dreams come true as he wins the NLCW Heavyweight Championship for the first time. Just look at the joy in his eyes! BT: I am speechless. AJ: Look at the destruction at ringside. Seven men came, only one survived. 1 match. 1 winner. 1 NLCW World Heavyweight Champion. 1 Alex Jay. The shows fades with Alex Jay, sat atop the ladder, holding the title in the air, declaring himself the new Champion.
AJ: There was no 1NE match in 2007 or 2008, but tonight the match is back!
BT: And the stakes have never been higher!
AJ: That's right. Tonight, for the first time in NLCW history, the number one contender for our World Championship could be a wrestler from another company.
BT: Members of F1X will be in tonight's match and they are hoping to parlay this opportunity into a chance to take the NLCW Undisputed World Championship out of the NLCW.
AJ: Can you imagine what would happen to this company without the Undisputed Championship?
BT: I don't even want to think about it.
The competitors have already assembled in the ring while the video package was playing. Lucinda Welch stands in the center of the ring.
LW: Ladies and gentlemen... this is your main event of the evening!
The crowd cheers.
LW: The rules of the match are simple. The only way you can be eliminated is to go over the top rope and have both feet touch the floor. At the end of the night there will be ONE WINNER.
The crowd cheers again.
LW: That person will be awarded a shot in the main event of NLCW When Worlds Collide where they will challenge for the NLCW Undisputed World Championship!
Another cheer from the crowd.
LW: Ladies and gentlemen... this is the 1NE Battle Royal!
The bell rings and Lucinda leaves the ring.

The camera cuts backstage once more as we join Dade Midvalley looking very anxious in his office. He’s on the phone to someone but his frustrations are clear to see as his face is soaked in sweat. He has the look of a very, very worried man. The microphone begins to pick up what he is saying half way through the conversation...
Dade Midvalley: Listen, I need answers, damn it! I’ve just seen one of the biggest superstars to ever grace this company fall flat on his face and collapse in the middle of the damn ring. He didn’t look well before the match and I need to know which doctor cleared him to wrestle tonight.
...
Dade Midvalley: That’s right. The guy was out cold. He fell to the ground like he was dead. It was one of the most shocking things I’ve seen in my time in the wrestling industry. Something isn’t right about this situation.
...
Dade Midvalley: What do you mean you don’t know who cleared him? I want someone’s ass for this. The guy was in no condition to compete tonight.
...
Dade Midvalley: What do you mean "his condition?" What condition are you talking about?
...
Dade Midvalley’s face suddenly turns completely white and his eyes bulge out of shock.
Dade Midvalley: Jesus Christ...
