BEFORE THE SHOW...

We fade into a shot of the outside parking garage of the arena, where a black rental car can be seen rolling into the area, coming to a quick stop in a parking space. Shortly after that, the car turns off and the trunk of the car pops open, the driver-side door opening up to reveal none other than Dominic Pericolo, the NLCW World Heavyweight Champion, arriving for the night! World title draped over his shoulder, Dominic steps out of the car and closes the door behind him, making his way around the car and opening the trunk the rest of the way, reaching in and pulling out his gym bag, a man in a suit making his way over from off-screen and stepping up alongside of the champion, holding out his hand.

Man in Suit: Mr. Pericolo, it's a pleasure.

Dominic Pericolo: Er... thank you, I...

Dominic tentatively reaches his hand out and shakes the man's hand, his eyebrow arching as he then withdraws his hand and adjusts the strap of his gym bag on his shoulder, the title belt on his other shifting slightly as he does so. Finally, after a moment of silence, Dominic finally asks the obvious question.

Dominic Pericolo: Who are you?

The man in the suit chuckles, smiling slightly and motioning with his hand for Dominic to follow.

Man in Suit: Representative of Mr. Midvalley's. He sent me out here to bring you along to his office, said he needed to talk to you ASAP.

Dominic's eyebrow doesn't go down from it's cocked position, and after a moment, he almost has to stifle a laugh, closing his trunk behind himself and falling against the rental car, shaking his head in disbelief.

Dominic Pericolo: W-wait... wait... Midvalley sent you?! What, did he hire the damned Secret Service for this thing? My God...

The man in the suit seems a bit flustered, but otherwise takes the comment in-stride and chuckles slightly, waving off the comments and once again motioning for Dominic to follow him.

Man in Suit: He said it was important, and--

Dominic Pericolo: Since you were sent here for me, I guess I'll send you for him. Tell Midvalley I'll talk to him in my locker room, bud... I've got a match to prepare for and-- before you say it, I know that that's what he wants to talk to me about. I've known Midvalley long enough to tell when there's a topic he takes seriously enough that he'd want to talk to me directly about it, and there's no other possible topic but that that would make sense.

Man in Suit: But Mr. Peri--

Dominic Pericolo: Please, call me Dominic, and please again... do what I asked? I don't have time for these theatrics, man, I'm fighting Chris Champion tonight. Now if you'll excuse me...

Dominic brushes past the man in the suit carefully, setting the alarm for his car in the process and making his way off into the arena, leaving the man standing stunned in the middle of the parking garage. Finally, the man sighs, rubbing at his eyes and turning towards the arena himself, muttering just loud enough for the cameras to pick it up.

Man in Suit: Wonder if Midvalley knew this was going to happen... ugh...

He makes his way off-screen, and shortly after, the scene fades to black.

"It's not like I'm walking alone into the valley of the shadow of death
Stand beside one another, 'cause it ain't over yet
I'd be willing to bet that if we don't back down
You and I will be the ones that are holding the Crown in the end
When it's over, we can say, "Well done"
But not yet, 'cause it's only begun
So, pick up, and follow me, we're the only ones
To fight this thing, until we've won
We drive on and don't look back
It doesn't mean we can't learn from our past
All the things that we mighta done wrong
We could've been doing this all along"

"Everybody, with your fists raised high
Let me hear your battle cry tonight
Stand beside, or step aside
We're on the frontline"

Pillar's "Frontline"  plays as we enter the sold out Pepsi Center. Pyro explodes and the fans are on their feet.   The camera pans around the arena as a sea of NLCW fans wave their signs and cheer!

"And we'll be carrying on, until the day it doesn't matter anymore
Step aside, you forgot what this is for
We fight to live, we live to fight
And tonight, you'll hear my battle cry
We live our lives on the frontlines
We're not afraid of the fast times
These days have opened up my eyes
And now, I see where the threat lies

We've got to lead the way"

Aaron Jennings: Ladies and gentlemen, this is NLCW When Worlds Collide!  I'm Aaron Jennings with me as always is Bryan Terwilliger!

Bryan Terwilliger: Good evening everyone! Worlds are definitely going to collide tonight!

AJ:  That's right Bryan, tonight Chris Champion will face off against the NLCW Undisputed Heavweight Champion Dominic Pericolo with the title on the line!

BT:  The drama and intrigue heading into that match is off the chart!

AJ:  You're right about that!  For those who weren't reading the NLCW website earlier today, there is another twist in this match's storyline.  Chris Champion passed out backstage a few hours ago.  He was examined by medical staff and just a few minutes ago he was pronounced ready to go by Dade Midvalley.

BT:  However, he is currently being watched backstage and Midvalley has stated that he could still refuse to let Champion compete if he feels that his health is in danger.

AJ:  We both wish Chris Champion the best and hope that he is able to compete tonight in what should be an outstanding contest.

BT:  That's for sure.

AJ:  And that's not all!  The Saint and Drew Graham will finally face off one-on-one with the North American Championship on the line!

BT:  That battle has been brewing since Conflicting Values, and it comes to an end tonight!  One man will leave as champion!

AJ:  And that man will face off against a brand new number one contender! Revolver and Kelly Rien battle for that chance here tonight!

BT:  And right now, to kick off the show, we've got Carmine Vestieri going up against Jackson!

AJ:  These two battled in an unbelievable match on Avulsion just a few weeks ago!

NLCW Avulsion
August 10th, 2009

Jackson pulls Vestieri up.  Jackson goes for another suplex.  Vestieri blocks it and he hits Jackson with a suplex of his own.

BT: What a reversal!

Vestieri pulls Jackson up now.  He Irish whips Jackson off of the ropes.  Jackson dodges a clothesline, rebounds off of the ropes, and he hits Vestieri with a drop kick!  Jackson climbs to his feet. Jackson with a headbutt on Carmine Vestieri. Vestieri gets elbowed to his midsection by Jackson. Jackson knifehand chops Carmine Vestieri.

BT: Follows up with a knifehand chop.

Jackson pulls Vestieri up.  Carmine Vestieri neck snaps Jackson.

AJ: Jackson takes a neck snap.

Jackson with a high crossbody on Carmine Vestieri. Carmine Vestieri throws Jackson off the ropes, rolls on the ground, comes back up and delivers a clothesline.  Carmine Vestieri fist drops Jackson on the mat.  Jackson climbs to his feet.
Carmine Vestieri gets thrown into the turnbuckle. Jackson comes over and smashes Carmine Vestieri's head into it.

BT: Headsmash into turnbuckle by Jackson.

Jackson hiptosses Carmine Vestieri. Carmine Vestieri gets hit with a diving elbow smash from Jackson.
Jackson moves back to his feet. Jackson kicks Carmine Vestieri on the mat.

AJ: Carmine Vestieri takes a stomp.

BT:  And another!

AJ:  And another!

BT:  That's gotta hurt!

Jackson pulls Vestieri up to his feet.  He throws him into the corner.  Vestieri slumps in the corner.  Jackson stomps on his chest.   Jackson pulls Vestieri out of the corner and he sets him up.

AJ:  "Something Wicked" coming up!

BT:  No!

Vestieri pushes Jackson away.  Jackson quickly turns around.  Vestieri leaps up with an enziguri!  Jackson ducks it.  Jackson grabs Vestieri once again.  Vestieri suddenly rolls him up!
1....
2....
3!!!  Jackson kicks out right at three!

AJ: Carmine Vestieri has won the match!

BT:  Has he?

AJ:  It was close, but yes!

The referee calls for the bell!

LW: The winner of this match:  Carmine Vestieri!!!

BT:  That was quite the match!  It could have gone either way!

AJ:  And because of that, Dade Midvalley signed a rematch which will take place RIGHT NOW!

AJ: What's going on here?  We're supposed to be having a match now.  Is this a power outage?

BT: I'm not sure.  We're trying to get word on what's going on with the lights fans but...

Bryan is cut off as the video tron begins to flicker and the sound of static cracks the speakers around the arena. The arena goes dark once more before the screen displays a single message in blue lettering across it.

BOW BEFORE YOUR PRINCE...

AJ: WHAT'S THIS?!

The audience erupts as the lettering fades out and a blast of gold pyro goes off in the center of the stage just as Kanye West's "Stronger" begins to pump through the arena. The cheers become deafening as Alex Jay comes strutting out from the back, wearing a black tee and blue jeans, his light brown hair tied back into a ponytail. He walks off the one side of the entrance stage and points out to the crowd, soaking in thier cheers and nodding his head in appreciation. He half struts, half dances back, extending his arms and spinning to the crowd as he reaches the center of the entrance stage.

AJ: It is! Alex Jay! Alex Jay!! The Prince is here!!!

BT: He is indeed, but why?!

Alex begins walking down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans with a big smile on his face. Several screaming girls cling to any part of him that they can grab, Alex simply lets out a modest chuckle as he continues to make his way to the ringside table. He continues to slap hands with the fans, even going one step further as he snatches one fan's cell phone and leans in as he takes a picture with them himself.

AJ: Alex Jay always one to play to the fans.

BT: But they do love him for it, he seems to be coming this way.

Alex quickly hops up on the announce table and does a little dance, once more taking in the cheers from the fans with a smile before hopping back down and reaching for a headset.

AJ: It looks like we're gonna be joined here at ringside by the prince himself, Alex how are you?

Alex Jay:  Fellas!! Man it feels great to come back, what a night! What a buzz in the air, like being at a house party...you know either someone's getting knocked out or someone's getting naked!

BT: Wait...what?

Alex Jay:  It means something BIG is going down tonight fellas, let's keep up with the analogies eh?

Alex takes a seat in the chair next to Aaron and Bryan and adjusts his headset.

AJ: So Alex, what brings you to the show tonight?

Alex Jay:  Well, I had been spending a lot of time in El Paso, doing old fart stuff, and I just figured that I'd love to come and see what is going on tonight. It looks to be a great show you guys have lined up and I'm just happy to be able to be a part of it.

AJ: Well we're happy to have you!

Alex Jay:  That and I needed a paycheck...I need NFL Sunday Ticket...

AJ: Oh...well, that's...good too.

Alex lets out a laugh as they get set for the next match.

LW:  Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall!

The lights dim, heavy mist filling the ramp as strobe lights begin to pulse slowly. A steady bass throb begins, growing in volume, sounding much like a heartbeat. A single gunshot shatters the silence, followed by mocking laughter and Jackson's voice hurling insults before the music skips, and then the sounds of 'Lies' by Evanescence filters through the speakers. Dark red strobes pulsate on the entranceway, and a dark figure moves among them, stepping forward as indigo fountains of pyrotechnic spark either side of him. He strides forwards, ignoring the crowd reaction.

LW:  Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 287 pounds and at a height of six foot six: JACKSON!!!

He circles the ring once, his eyes steady, a look of angry concentration on his face, before ascending the ring steps and climbing between the ropes. Jackson stands in the middle of the ring, his head thrown back in a triumphant roar as the music comes to a grinding halt, cut off with a squeal of feedback.

AJ: Jackson seems ready to go here tonight.

Alex Jay:  Yeah...go to a goth rave maybe...NEXT!!

BT: Not a fan of Jackson, Alex?

Alex Jay:  Uhm, considering the last time I saw him, he and that twat Tanya Black sabotaged me, left me in a heap, you know...no I don't like that pudwhacker.

LW:  And his opponent...

Three Six Mafia’s ‘Who run it’ plays throughout the arena and the lights strobe red, white and green around the entrance way as Carmine Styles is risen up from the bottom of the stage. Once he is fully on the stage Red, White and Green pyro shot up right in front of him as he walks out. Wearing his custom Blue Italian soccer shirt and the Italian flag hanging from the front of his pants. He looks out into the crowd, surveying the masses, before stepping out into the aisle way and throws his arms out (ala Orton).

LW:... from Sacramento, California, weighing in at 145 pounds and at a height of five foot six: CARMINE "STYLES" VESTIERI!!!

At which point pyro’s shoot off all the way down the ramp. Once he’s at ringside Carmine wastes no time getting into the ring. Where he climbs the turnbuckle standing on the middle rope at the far post and poses with his arms up just as he did at the top of the entranceway.

AJ: And the former champion Carmine looks to be in top form.

Alex Jay:  Talented guy.

BT: Yeah he is.

Jackson VS. Carmine Vestieri
Standard Rules

AJ:  What a way to kick off the show!

BT:  These two are going to put on a clinic, I can feel it!

The two square off in the middle of the ring as the bell rings. They quickly hook up in a collar and elbow tie up, both trying to get leverage over the other. Carmine quickly gets the upper hand going up and hooking Jackson up with a hammerlock. Jackson replies with a stiff elbow to the side of Carmine's head. With the hold released, Jackson quickly grabs Carmine by the arm and snaps off an Irish whip. Carmine bounces off the ropes and gets leveled with a clothesline. Jackson quickly takes advantage of the situation and mounts the downed former champion and begins to hammer away with furious right hands.

AJ: And Jackson now hammering away at Carmine.

The referee administers the mandatory count, and reluctantly, Jackson backs off. He bends down, picking carmine up by the head. Jackson grabs Carmine by the arm, takes a step back and tugs Carmine towards him, giving him extra momentum as he levels Carmine again with another clothesline. Jackson, still holding Carmine by the arm, yanks Carmine back to his feet and prepares to do it again, however this time Carmine is wise to Jackson's intentions and ducks the clothesline, reversing it into an Irish whip. Jackson goes charging to the ropes, but Carmine is chasing closely behind. Just as Jackson hits the ropes Carmine dives forward nailing Jackson with a leaping lariat that sends both men toppling over the top rope and onto the ringside floor.

AJ: Carmine putting himself on the line there! Using his entire body as a weapon and sending both men down to the floor!

Alex Jay:  Quite a feat from Carmine I can't lie, he does not give any consideration to the word caution.

Both men begin to stir on the outside. Carmine is first to his feet and he moves quickly to keep advantage over the downed Jackson. Carmine gets Jackson to his feet and pulls him over to the commentary table.

AJ: Uh oh! Looks like we're about to have a little more company.

Alex Jay:  Seriously why have you guys never sprung for a Spanish table?

Carmine lifts Jackson's head and slams it into the table. He lifts Carmine's head once more, ready to do it again, but as he goes to slam Jackson's head down Jackson proves to be one step ahead this time, locking his arms against the table to prevent himself from being slammed into the table. Jackson quickly sends an elbow into Carmine's mid section and responds by sending Carmine's head into the table this time. The loud slap of Carmine's face meeting the announce table makes the crowd respond with a loud. "OHHHHHHHHHH"

Jackson repeats this once more before shoving Carmine to the floor. Jackson then looks over at Alex and cracks a smirks as he eyes down the guest commentator.

AJ: Uh oh, hey now, we don't want any trouble.

Alex Jay:  Yeah Jack-ass you may wanna pay attention to your opponent.

Jackson marches over to Alex's direction and Alex quickly stands up. Jackson gets right into Alex's face with a big smile on his own. Jackson lets out a laugh and shoves Alex, sending him toppling over the chair he was sitting on.

AJ: Come on now get back into the ring!!!

BT: Guess he remembers the last time he met Alex as well.

Jackson laughs at the downed Alex, not realizing that Carmine has gotten back to his feet and is rolling back into the ring. The ref continues to count until Jackson finally realizes what's going on and runs and slides back into the ring, where Carmine is waiting for him with a series of stomps.

AJ: Finally some order being restored here.

Vestieri now pulls Jackson up to his feet.  He sets him up, and then drops him down to the mat with a side Russian leg sweep!  Vestieri now with a leg drop.  He then follows that up with an elbow drop.  He pulls Jackson up, and then sends him back down with a DDT.

AJ:  Carmine Vestieri in charge now.

BT:  And he's going upstairs!

Vestieri climbs to the top ropes!

AJ:  SHOOTING LION!  HE HIT IT!

BT:  The cover!

Carmine Vestieri hooks the leg:
1....
2....
3....

LW: And the winner of this match: CARMINE VESTIERI!!!

AJ:  A great effort by Vestieri here tonight!

The rumbling of Alex's headset can be heard as Alex gets to his feet and yanks off his headset.

AJ: Alex now calm down it's okay, the match if over and...

Before Aaron can finish his sentence Alex quickly grabs a steel folding chair from behind the desk and folds it as he makes his way into the ring.

BT: Seems like Alex wasn't too happy about that!!

Alex slides into the ring, chair in hand and quickly makes his way to Jackson, who is just getting to his feet. The referee tries to get between him and Alex but Alex dismisses the ref with a hard shove. Alex lifts the chair over his head to nail the downed Jackson only to have the chair yanked out of his hands by Carmine. Alex quickly turns around and some jaw jacking takes place between the two former champions.

AJ: Seems like Carmine doesn't want anyone getting involved here!

BT:  He won the match!  He deserves to get his time to celebrate!

The audience begins to become lively as Alex and Carmine's conversation becomes more heated. Alex takes a step away for a second, a frustrated look on his face as he does so.

AJ: Finally it seems Alex has listened to rea-

Alex lunges forward and nails Carmine right across the chops with the Final Flash sending the audience into a frenzy!!

AJ: Alex Jay, just nailed Carmine in the face with that patented super kick!!!

BT: Oh this is NOT going to end well!

The referee calls for security, and it's the last thing he does before Alex levels him with a kick as well.

AJ: Alex Jay has lost it here!!!

BT: Someone get security out here!!!

Alex grabs his chair again and turns his attention back to Jackson, who at this point has begun to make it back to his feet in a daze. Jackson stands upright and turns around to face the chair-wielding Alex...

CRACK!!!

Alex smacks the chair across the skull of Jackson, making a horrific dent in the chair and knocking Jackson out cold in the process. Jackson falls to the ground in a heap and the audience is eating all of it up. Alex reels back once more...

AJ: Oh no Alex come on!!

CRACK!!!

Alex nails Jackson in the head once more with the chair, the crowd responding the only way they know how.

ALEX!!! ALEX!!! ALEX!!! ALEX!!!

Alex smirks and once more reels back with the severely dented chair in his hands.

AJ: Alex no!! You have to be able to live with yourself man!!!

Alex is cut short however as Carmine comes out of nowhere with a take down and the two begin to scrap on the mat, causing the audience to go ballistic.

AJ: HERE WE GO!! ALEX JAY AND CARMINE VESTIERI GOING AT IT HERE AT WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE!!!

The two men roll around on the ground exchanging punches. The crowd begins to fill the arena with boo's as security, referees, and ring personnel fill up the ring to separate the two. The ring is almost completely full of pin stripes and polo shirts before the two men are pried away from each other.

AJ: Well ladies and gentlemen, you can't tell from what we're seeing here, but Carmine Vestieri did defeat Jackson here tonight.

BT: I think that doesn't matter right now Aaron, these two are going through walls of personnel to get at each other.

Alex has now been pulled outside of the ring, being held back by all of the personnel as is Carmine on the inside of the ring.

AJ:  This is insanity, somebody stop this!

Highway to Hell Match

...

All four men are down on the mat now, once again.
Atop the cell, Sean Galen and Dazz are exchanging blows!

AJ: These two men are on top of the cell, duking it out!

BT: Look how much that roof sinks with every step!  Dazz weakened it when he cut through and you have to worry about how long it can support the weight of  these two!

Sean Galen suddenly grabs Dazz and he hits him with a spinebuster!  The entire cell shakes with the impact.  Galen now pulls Dazz to his feet.  He sets him up for a suplex, but Dazz blocks it!  Dazz now with a suplex of his own!

AJ: BOOM!

BT: My God what a battle!

Dazz now pulls Sean Galen to his feet.  Inside the ring Violent A is slowly getting to his feet.  He pulls Castle up by the head.  Violent A now sets Castle up and he delivers The Black Rain!

AJ: THE BLACK RAIN!

BT: NO!

Violent A falls to the mat right after he pulls off the move.

AJ: Violent A is too exhausted to go for the cover!

BT: YES!

On top of the cell, Dazz goes for a clothesline.  Galen ducks it.
Inside the ring Violent A finally manages to go for the cover!
Sean Galen now leaps at Dazz with a flying tackle!
The referee counts the pin:
1...
2...
Galen connects with the tackle, and the roof of the cell gives way!  Both men fall through the cell, directly onto Violent A and Phil Castle, breaking up the pin!

HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!

AJ: OH GOOD GOD!

BT: They just fell over 20 feet to the mat, and right on top of Violent A and Phil Castle!

AJ: We're going to need some help out here!

HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!

Amongst all the carnage, Matt Arren gets to his feet.  So does Priest.

AJ: The cell is in ruins, four competitors are down, the referee is down, but Priest and Matt Arren are on their feet!

Arren charges at Priest, taking him down to the mat!  Arren now locks Priest in a Jujitsu armbar!

AJ: SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY!

BT: There's no one standing to break up this hold!

AJ: This move could end the match!

The referee is out, crushed under the mass of humanity inside the ring. Suddenly a new NLCW official rushes down to the ring. He rushes through the flames as a third official unlocks the cell. Matt Arren tightens the hold on Priest. The new official checks to see if Priest wants to submit! He shakes his head no. Priest tries to fight out of the hold. Arren tightens it!

AJ: IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S OVER!

BT: Wait! Priest has a chair in his free hand!

Priest reaches across and he throws the chair at Arren, temporarily weakening the hold! Priest breaks free! He now grabs Arren around the neck with his other arm! Priest gets to his feet now, choking Arren with one hand! Priest now walks towards the ropes. He lifts Arren into the air with one hand! Priest now leaps over the ropes, pushing Arren forward, into the barbed wire! The side of the cell gives way!

AJ: PRIEST JUST HIT ARREN WITH A FLYING CHOKESLAM AND THE SIDE OF THE CELL IS BROKEN!

BT: MATT ARREN JUST LANDED IN THE FIRE! HIS WHOLE BODY IS ON FIRE!

HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!

NLCW officials rush down to the ring with fire extinguishers to put Arren out. Arren is screaming in pain.

AJ: Oh my GOD that was brutal!

Meanwhile, inside the ring Dazz gets to his feet.  He pulls Galen to his feet!

AJ:  WAIT!  THIS COULD BE IT!

Dazz sets him up and he hits him with The Chaos Factor!!

AJ:  THAT'S IT!  THAT'S IT!

BT: THE COVER!!!

1...

Violent A runs over . . to break up the pin!!

2...

Castle runs too . .

3!!!!!!!!!

Too late!!

AJ:  OH MY GOD IT'S OVER!

LW:  Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and NEW NLCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION . . . . . Dazz!!!!

The new champion slumps against the ropes, exhausted.  An official enters the ring and he hands him the NLCW Heavyweight Championship!

AJ:  WOW!  He's done it!  AMAZING!

BT:  That entire match was amazing!

Emergency Medical Team members rush down to the ring to treat the competitors.

AJ: Every competitor in this match has just had their lives changed by this match.  They were beaten, they were battered, they were set on fire!  My God!!!

BT:  What a match!!!

We fade to the backstage locker-room area, where Dade Midvalley is seen walking down the hallways in concern, talking on his cell-phone and wrapping up a conversation with the person on the other end as he steps over to a door in particular, a golden nameplate plastered at its center.

Dade Midvalley: Anyway, I'm outside his locker-room... I'll have to let you go, alright? I'll call you back, we still have a lot to get done before the night's over. Alright. Talk to you later, then. Goodbye.

There's a pause. Dade closes his cellphone and pockets it, taking a breath and knocking on the door. There's a pause, followed by the sound of someone saying "It's open!" Midvalley takes the door handle in his hand and opens the door, making his way inside and closing the door behind him. The camera makes its way over, zooming in on the nameplate on the door...

It reads Dominic Pericolo.

AJ: What is our CEO going to talk to Dominic for? I mean, I know they're old friends, but...

BT: If it's about tonight's match like Dominic mentioned earlier, Aaron... chances are he's going to tell Dominic to hold back if he can! The last thing NLCW needs is to lose Chris Champion in the middle of a match...

AJ: That's the last thought I want on my mind tonight, Bryan... we just have to trust that Champion is in good condition for tonight's main event.

The camera lingers on the nameplate for just a moment, before we fade back to ringside.

LW: The following match is to name a new number one contender for the NLCW North American Championship!

The arena then becomes engulfed in darkness as "Circus" starts to play across the sound system.

Uhh Huhh, I'm running this

The lights then start to flicker as gray and pink spotlights flash across the arena.

Like, Like Like a Circus

Kelly emerges onto the stage, and takes her place at the top of the ramp. She pulls her hands up, and runs then up the side of her body until they conjoin on the top of her head, hear hair entangled between her fingers. She rustles her brown hair a bit before dropping her arms to her side and starts to descend the ramp.

LW: Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California, Kellyyy RIIEEENNNNN!!!

There's only two types of people in the world,
The ones that entertain,
And the ones that observe,
Well baby I'm a put on a show kinda girl,
Don't like the backseat, Gotta be first . . .

Kelly approaches the ring apron, and stares through the ropes at her opponent for a moment before hopping up onto the apron with her left knee, letting her right leg dangle between the floor. She looks up the ramp for a brief second before flipping her head around, and pulling herself up onto the apron. Kelly grinds the ropes a bit with her arms stretched out on the top rope before slipping in between the top and middle rope.

I'm the like the ringleader,
I call the shots,
I'm like a firecracker I make it hot,
I feel the adrenaline moving through my viens,
Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break,
I'm like a performer the dance floor is my stage,
Better be ready hope that you feel the same,

All eyes on me in the center of the ring,
Just like a circus,
When I crack that whip everbody going to trip,
Just like a circus,
Don't stand there watching me, Follow me,
Show me what you can do,
Everybody let go, we can make the dance floor,
Just like a Circus

Once inside, Kelly gets in her assigned corner, leaning against the turnbuckle, her legs crossed, and her arms hanging outside the top rope waiting to dismantle her opponent.

LW:  And her opponent...

The room goes completely blacked out until the music kicks in, when red smoke covers the floor of the arena. She emerges out of this in her ring attire, making gun shapes with her hands and holding them in the air.

LW:  ... from Moscow, Russia: REVOLVER!

She walks down to the ring, not really taking any notice of the crowd as she takes a seat on one of the top turnbuckles scouting her opponent.

Number One Contender Match - NLCW North American Championship
Kelly Rien VS. Revolver
Standard Rules

AJ: The winner of this match will compete for the NLCW North American Championship!

BT: A lot on the line here tonight!

The two women lock up.  Revolver breaks the lock up with a knee to Kelly Rien's chest.  She then drives the point of her elbow into the back of Rien's neck.  Kelly Rien collapses to the mat.

AJ:  Revolver taking charge right off the bat!

Revolver pulls Rien to her feet.  She scoops her up and drops her down to the mat with a slam.  Revolver runs off of the ropes now and she hits Rien with a running elbow drop.
Revolver goes for a cover now:
1...
2...

AJ:  Kelly Rien kicks out.

BT:  It's gonna take more than that to end this match!

Revolver pulls Rien to her feet.  Suddenly Rien rakes Revolver's eyes.

BT:  That's one way to turn the tide in a match!

While Revolver is reeling, Kelly Rien hits her with a running clothesline.  Revolver slowly gets to her feet.  Rien grabs her by the head and sends her down to the mat with a DDT.  Kelly Rien now with a stomp to Revolver's stomach.  And another.  And another.  Revolver rolls out of the ring to avoid more punishment.

AJ:  Kelly Rien taking control of this match now.

BT:  Smart ring positioning by Revolver to roll out of the ring though.

Revolver slowly gets to her feet on the outside.  She leans on the apron for a moment, trying to catch her breath.  Suddenly Kelly Rien runs and she hits Revolver with a baseball slide!  Revolver falls backwards, crashing into the guardrail!

AJ:  Nice move by Kelly Rien!

BT:  Revolver just cracked her spine on that guardrail!

Kelly Rien slides out of the ring now.  She grabs Revolver and slams her face-first into the guardrail.  Revolver is stunned.  She staggers forwards.  Kelly Rien hits her with a clothesline to the back of the head!  Revolver falls to the floor with a thud.

AJ:  Revolver's face just crashed into the floor!

BT:  Kelly Rien is relentless here tonight!

Rien pulls Revolver up and she rolls her back into the ring.  She now returns to the ring herself.
Kelly Rien with a cover now:
1....
2....

BT:  Kelly Rien is number one contender!

AJ:  That means...

BT:  If Drew Graham is victorious...

AJ:  WOW!

We fade to a familiar sight from earlier, the outside of the locker-room of Dominic Pericolo. Approaching from down the hall is NLCW Online's reporter, Charles Mires, who happens to be walking along just as Dominic's locker-room door opens up and a still-concerned looking Dade Midvalley makes his way out, rubbing at his eyes in frustration. Quirking his eyebrow, Mires makes his way over to the locker-room door to see Pericolo standing in the door frame, watching Midvalley with a frown on his face. Curious, Mires breaks the silence by approaching Dominic, asking the question he's certain everyone else was wondering...

Charles Mires: Excuse me, Dominic? Uhm... what was that about?

Dominic glances over at the man, surprised to see someone else there, and he offers him a slight smirk, reaching over to shake his hand after recognizing him. They shake hands and Dominic turns his attention back to the retreating figure of Midvalley, that smirk slowly shifting back into a frown.

Dominic Pericolo: Good to see you, Charles. Midvalley, he... ugh, he's just worried about tonight's main event. He's concerned about Champion's condition from earlier tonight, so... yeah, he was asking me to take things a little easy.

Charles Mires: Well then... do you plan to, or...?

Dominic shakes his head, chuckling to himself and turning his attention towards Mires now, a look on his face that shows the absurdity of the question, confidence radiating from the champion as he speaks.

Dominic Pericolo: What good would holding back do? If I hold back, Champ will take advantage and win that title, and then what do we do? We let him defend it as often as he can while his body lets him? No... if we're going to get Champion help, he can't come anywhere close to winning this title tonight, Charles. I have to take him down.

Charles Mires: I... guess that makes sense, yeah...

Dominic Pericolo: Listen, if you'll excuse me? I have to finish preparing for this thing... trust me, even if he's as messed up as he is, Chris Champion is still a huge threat to me in the ring... his performance against Carmine not too long ago proved that to everyone, he won't be going down easy tonight.

Charles Mires: Gotcha, I'll... head off, then.

The two nod to each other and Charles makes his way off-screen as Dominic turns, shutting his locker-room door behind him. The cameras focus, as they did before, on the nameplate of the champion's door... before we fade out.

BT: I think stealing titles is the new cool thing to do around here AJ!

AJ: What a disgusting display from Jon Sloan!

LW:  And his opponent...

The arena lights fade out as JFK is heard coming through the loudspeakers

[JFK talking]

To a new generation of Americans.

[Nixon talking]

I must put the interest of America first. People have got to know whether or not their president’s a crook. Well I’m not a crook.

[Slaine]

I’m an American

[Charles Manson]

United States of America is the demon of the world.

~ A huge blast of pyro goes off as Slaine begins his verse ~

[Verse 1: Slaine]

I’m a product of America, youth psychotic from narcotics
Born consumers and STD’s, yeah I got it
A victim of a media machine, violence and lust
Top to bottom and greedy in between
I’m a menace with big dreams
And no morals to stop me from none
I gotta get mine, that’s why I went and copped me a gun
Police’d put me in a cage if they could lock me in one
These dudes’d kill me out of jealousy, they’d pop me and run
Shit I’m bloodthirsty too, we were raised with foul ways
It’s in everything we watch and listen to nowadays
When the younger kids are way more depraved
With a hunger for beef, some’ll run around the neighbourhood crazed
Land of the free, home of the brave, my world is a morgue
One day I’ll lay alone in a grave, still my dome is enslaved
In the haze of the power I crave
I can’t help it, this is how I was raised

~ The crowd starts cheering as Drew Graham steps out from the curtains and poses for the fans. He then makes his way down to the ring slapping hands as he does ~

[Verse 2: Ill Bill]

My synergy’s a conspiracy, I hit the scene like spinning guillotines
Villains creep through your village deep while idiots sleep
I’m awake, dominate, annihilate, I violate
Obliterate, incinerate, exterminate, I’m an American
Murder, hate, violence and war, tyrants galore
Riots and more, a violent uproar, the rise of the poor, we monitor all
Everybody signed at the door
So walk out now or you may never survive at all
We murder capitals, turn hometowns to homicides
TNT tinted Econolines
My take on society’s beyond the fabrications that they prophesized
Colonize through modern lies
Economize and sodomize
Humanity everyday, vanity scrape
Gravity take hold of your sanity, wait
This is not an exercise, this is real life
Salvage your fate, contaminated planet of hate
The children sing a passage of faith
Lavish taste was a trait of Alexander the Great
Savage grace gravitate to mathematics & space
Like Dr. Malachi when the hidden cameras invade
Get shafted and played like the others these cannibals ate - I’m an American

LW:  ... he is the NLCW North American Champion, weighing in at 265 pounds and at a height of six foot one: DREW GRAHAM!

~ Drew climbs into the ring and walks over to the middle of the ring as the chorus plays. ~

[Chorus]

[Everlast (excerpt from "America The Beautiful" in the background)]
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.
[Ill Bill (cut by Lethal)]
I need a blowjob and a pizza
[Ill Bill (repeatedly)]
I’m an American

~ Drew strips his shirt off and tosses it into the crowd as the music fades out ~

AJ:  OUCH!

BT:  Graham trying to neutralize the Saint's height advantage by taking out his knee!

AJ:  They're all the same height on their backs!

BT:  That's what I say about midgets.

AJ:  Midgets?

BT:  I'll explain later.

Graham drags the Saint towards the center of the ring.  He now hits him with a splash.  Graham goes for a cover now:

AJ:  The Saint kicks out!

Drew Graham gets the Saint in a seated position.  He runs off of the ropes and hits him in the back of the head with a knee!  He then goes back to work on the knee, stomping away.  Graham now grabs the Saint's leg and he drops another elbow onto the Saint's knee.

BT:  Drew Graham doing an excellent job keeping the Saint grounded.

Graham now pulls The Saint over to the corner.  He sets him up on the bottom turnbuckle.  Graham now runs off of the ropes towards the Saint!  The Saint gets his good leg up and he kicks Graham right in the face! Graham stumbles backwards now. The Saint leaps at him, clotheslining him down to the mat!  The Saint's leg now gives out of him and he collapses to the mat.

AJ:  The Saint can't stand!

BT:  Drew Graham's work on his knee paid off!

The Saint drags himself over to the ropes and he uses them to get to his feet.  He shakes his leg, trying to get some feeling back into it.  Suddenly Graham dives at him, knocking his good leg out from under him, and sending him back down to the mat!

AJ:  Nice move there by Graham!

Drew Graham now slides out of the ring.  He pulls The Saint's injured leg out of the ring.  He now lifts it up, and slams it knee-first into the mat!  He then drives yet another elbow into the knee!

AJ:  Drew Graham strongly going after The Saint's knee here tonight!

Graham now returns to the ring.  He pulls the Saint back into the ring.  The Saint drives his shoulder into Drew's chest.  Graham is doubled over.  The Saint with an uppercut now from his knees.  Graham staggers backwards.  The Saint now leaps forward, hitting Graham with a diving clothesline!

BT:  He's not letting his chance at NLCW gold slip away that easily!

The Saint tries to get to his feet.  He stumbles back down to the mat.  He crawls over to the ropes and uses them to stand up.  Suddenly Graham is on his feet!  As the Saint is doubled over Graham hits him with the Telegram!

AJ:  BOOM!  Out of nowhere!

BT:  He's covering him!

3!!!

LW:  Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner and still NLCW North American Champion: DREW GRAHAM!!!!!!

AJ:  Drew Graham retains the title!

BT:  And that means... Kelly Rien is now the number one contender for her future husband's championship!

Drew's getting to his feet as Kelly is there in the ring with him as she checks on her man. He nods his head that he's fine and will be okay as she grips his face and plants a kiss on him.

AJ: I wish these two would get a room and not do it in the ring.

BT: Well lets be honest who doesn't like to watch soft core porn anymore?

AJ: These two are all over each other now, but wait until they have to face off in the ring!

BT:  Will the North American Title come between this couple?

AJ:  I don't know, but...

Just then banging drums erupts over the sound system as the fans leap to their feet and they erupt as the tron flickers on and off til it erupts with the name

BUCKY!!!!!!!!!

As "Warzone" by Rob Zombie blares over the fans as they are cheering as Bucky walks down the ramp with a purpose as he walks up the steps as Drew stumbles into the middle of the ring and the fans become unglued when Bucky rips his shirt off and throws it in Drew's face and kicks him in the gut. Kelly hauls ass out of the ring to evade her brother's wrath as Bucky reaches back and clocks Drew with a hard stiff left to his face which knocks Drew down to the mat.

AJ: Bucky told Drew he was gonna be here tonight. My guess is that Drew thought he was gonna just talk to him.

BT: Judging by the looks of it, I think Bucky is here for more than that!

Drew tries to get to his feet but Bucky unloads with another stiff left to the side of Drew's face which is starting to swell up from the impacts as Bucky jerks him back up again and nails him again. This punch splits open the swelling over Drew's eye causing blood to run down Drew's face as Bucky pulls him up and irish whips him into the corner and then followes in with a leaping clothesline where Bucky's legs go through the middle ropes as Bucky slides through them and let's Drew fall to the mat trying to escape but Bucky climbs to the top rope and stands there before leaping off and coming down hard across Drew's back with the "M.Bison".

AJ: M.BISON!!!!!

BT: I'll be honest I have no clue why Drew keeps getting up. He should just stay down.

Bucky walks around Drew before falling on his knees before him and presses his forehead against the back of Drew's head and begins berating him. As Bucky looks over at Kelly and her face is in horror over seeing what her brother has done to her fiance'. She starts to scream at Bucky about it as he leans back up and looks at her and smiles as he says something to her and then signals for the "Cradleshocker".

AJ: Bucky's calling for the Cradleshocker here. I guess he wants to maim Drew.

BT: This has gone too far I will say where the hell is security to end this.

Bucky pulls Drew whose limp body has no strength to fight back as Bucky tries to hoist him up but the dead weight is too much so Bucky lets him drop and walks away as Drew tries to crawl for the bottom rope to escape but falls to the mat. Bucky standing in a corner turns around and makes an evil face as he starts to stomp the tip of his foot on the mat as he poised for his head punt.

AJ: Oh god no, he won't? He's gonna kick the man in the head.

BT: Okay its over, enoughs enough where is the security?

Drew starts to push himself off the mat as Bucky grinds his teeth as Kelly starts to slide into the ring and Bucky charges in and is about to go for the kick but Kelly get in his way. She lays herself on top of Drew to stop her brother from kicking him in the head. Tears running down her face she begs for him to stop. Bucky looks around her but can't do anything as long as she's laid on top of Drew. Bucky walks over to the ropes as "Warzone" by Rob Zombie erupts again as the fans erupt. EMT's rush behind Bucky and slide into the ring as Kelly looks at Drew than back at her brother as she's still crying. Bucky smiles as he's accomplished what he set out to do.

AJ: I'm telling you I thought Bucky wasn't under contract with NLCW anymore?

BT: Well I guess Midvalley gave permission for this to happen cause I thought the same too.

AJ: Well folks I am sorry that you had to see what just happened go down.

BT:  That was brutal.

The scene opens up backstage where the cameras show Hannah Galen talking with her half-brother Bucky Skyler. She stands in front of Bucky with her arms folded against her chest as she looks at him. They appear to be having a heated discussion about the announcement Hannah would make later in the broadcast.

Hannah Galen: Buck I apprieciate you coming out here but seriously I can handle this all on my own. She offers him a smirk. Besides I deserve this kind of satisfaction.

Bucky Skyler: Why by digging into other peoples old wounds? So this is the what I get from my sister who I did everything for. You had his kid and your not expecting me to be the least bit pissed off at you?

Hannah Galen: Of course I didn't expect you to be happy about this when I told you. She bites down on her lower lip. You know more than anyone else that I would never set out to hurt you intentionally but this is how it has to be. Granted I'm sure there is a more subtle way to tell people the truth about Dylan but the fact is Sean has humiliated me time and time again. Payback's a bitch and it's time I had mine.

Bucky Skyler: So in the process you want to drag my wife's past into this. The fact that I did everything to erase the past for her and give her what she deserves. You come out of nowhere and this. This is the best way for you to deal with it. I would understand if Dylan was Chris or Dillon's but him.

Hannah Galen: Please understand, this is just the way I have to do this. The only person I want to hurt during this whole process is Sean and the bastard has it coming. She exhales. I mean can you imagine the look that will be on his face when this huge bombshell is dropped? She grins. Seriously it'll be better than Christmas.

Bucky shakes his head cuz he's clearly not getting to his sister.

Bucky Skyler: The only thing your hurting here Hannah is our family. No one cares about Sean. What you did yes is something I may not be able to forgive you myself for. But as long as your doing this, you have no support from me.

Her eyes widen as Bucky said this, she swallows hard but keeps her composure.

Hannah Galen: I can't stop you from feeling how you feel. One thing I ask you to remember is that I didn't plan for what happened to happen. All I can say is that it happened and now because of it I have a beautiful son. Just please remember your nephew in all of this, your nephew who loves you more than anything.

Bucky takes a deep breath.

Bucky: Honestly Hannah, I don't think this has to deal with my nephew. I think this is some sick twisted way for the father of your kid to get near his ex-wife. Sometimes sis, its best to think things out before the past bites you on the ass.

He walks away from her. Hannah watches him go; she crosses her arms against her chest and exhales as the cameras fade out.

BT: He's bleeding like a stuck pig!!!

Phil fights off Ace and whips him into his knee. Scotty hunches forward and drops the bag behind him , giving Phil full opportunity to drive Ace's head down into the bag!

BT: OW!!!

AJ: This fight to the finish just won't seem to end!

BT: It certainly doesn't look like it will even after the time limit's up!

AJ: Wait... I've just been given word by the President of NLCW that, should the match end a draw, the match will NOT continue!

Phil very shakily whips Ace to the ropes. He shambles over, obviously getting dizzy from the blood loss. Ace reverses, sending phil into the turnbuckle, and sets him up for a Superplex!

AJ: This looks like it!

BT: He's going to superplex him onto the weapons below!!

Ace has Phil on the top rope now. He's got him locked... but Phil begins to punch back! They struggle with each other as Phil relentlessly punches Ace in the ribs.

AJ: And just like that, the tables are turning!

AJ: HE'S DONE IT! PHIL CASTLE HAS RETAINED HIS WORLD HARDCORE TITLE, MAKING IT THE LONGEST TITLE REIGN OF ANY MAN IN THE HISTORY OF THE DIVISION!

BT: Look, AJ!! A squad of paramedics have rushed to the scene already!

:: "Wherever I May Roam" by Metallica hits as the crowd goes insane for The Main Event. ::

LW: The winner of this match, AND STILL NLCW'S WORLD HARDCORE CHAMPION... THE MAIN EVENT, PHIL CASTLE!!!

The house lights lower as the fans turn toward the ring entrance in anticipation. It is time for Hannah Galen to make her announcement. The song 'Burn It To The Ground' by Nickleback begins to play throughout the entire arena as a strobe light flashes all sorts of shades of purple and pink. Hannah walks through the curtains and strikes a pose at the top of the ramp with a hand on her hip and a smile on her face. She is greeted with a warm reaction from the fans as she keeps that smile on her face and makes her way to the ring. It doesn't take her long to make it as she gets to a set of steps at each corner of the ring and walks up them. She gets onto the apron and steps in between a few ropes. She is handed a microphone and as soon as her music fades out she begins to speak. The house lights come back on as she starts talking with a smile on her face.

Hannah Galen: After much thought on how I wanted to word this I finally know exactly how I want my words to come across.. The time has come for certain things to come to light and well I decided tonight was the time to do it. I put up with a lot over the past four years because of a love I felt for a man-- the self-proclaimed King Sean Galen. I suppose I fed into this as I spoiled him and gave him absolutely everything I had. Now I stand here in this ring looking at all of you people who are just wondering what the hell is going on.

Hannah stops talking for a moment, pausing. She exhales and brings the microphone back up to her lips.

Hannah Galen: I had promised myself on the day that Dylan was born that I would never do this. But yet, here I am, standing here in front of all you people about ready to divulge my deepest, darkest, secret. However before I let all of you in on it I'd like to tell you a story about a young woman who fell in love with a man, whom she thought was her savior. She rolls her eyes and shakes her head. Boy was she wrong; I won't lie she did have some very happy times with this man but for the most part they were stressful to say the least. In fact not too long after these two crazy kids got together, the man started losing his mind and began to take it out on the girl, making her life miserable. So miserable that she had to turn to another man for comfort. Well in turning to this other man for the comfort the two slept together and nine months later there way a baby, a little baby boy; a prince in fact. Saying this causes her to smirk. But the question remained who was the little boy's father, in fact that was a question I asked myself for so long; just who is my son's father?

She bites down on her lower lip as her smirk breaks out into a full grin. She looks directly at the camera and begins to speak again.

Hannah Galen: Sean I know without a shadow of a doubt that wherever you are right now, you are watching this probably clenching your fists and gritting your teeth like you do when you're angry. Perhaps you're feeling hurt, angry, and betrayed. You're also probably asking yourself how I could do something like this to you, not only that but how can I humuliate you like this on national television? But let me turn the tables on you a little bit; how in the hell could you do every thing you've ever done to me when all I ever did was love you? There were so many times that you humiliated me and treated me like shit in front of these same cameras, well Baby just consider it me returning the favor to you. Now i know you're just dying to know who fathered my  son. Well don't let me keep you all wondering any longer. Will Dylan's father please meet me in the ring at this time?

She turns toward the ring entrance and lets her arm fall to her side with her microphone still in hand. A massive guitar riff plays through the arena speakers and we realize the song is Alice in Chains new song "Check My Brain". The arena is roaring as they love the song. The singers vocals start

So I found myself in the sun, oh yeah

A hell of a place to end a run, oh yeah

California, I'm fine
Somebody check my brain

California's all right
Somebody check my brain

Check my brain

I walk these streets, I creep and I fall, oh yeah
When she sang I answered the call, oh yeah

California, I'm fine
Somebody check my brain

California's all right
Somebody check my brain

Ahhhhhhh
Tears have filled my bones
Ahhhhhhh
Years expended gone

I hung my guns and put em away, oh yeah

The trick of the trade, and by the way, oh yeah

As the singer finishes the chorus out from behind the curtains steps a man wearing a black pinstriped suit shiny black dress shoes and a pair of black oakley sunglasses. The crowd still hasnt figured out who this man is. He then takes a few steps forward and stops at the top of the ramp. He poses then finally removes his sunglasses and we finally realize that the man is Ryan Coleman. The crowd starts chanting HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT as the man everyone thought was dead makes his way down to the ring. He gets to the ring steps and climbs up them and then climbs into the ring and then walks over to Hannah and gives her a kiss. Coleman breaks the embrace and then walks over to Lucinda and grabs a microphone from her. The crowd is silent waiting to hear what Coleman has to say. Coleman raises the mic and begins to speak

Ryan Coleman:  That's right everyone I Ryan Coleman and Dylan's father. Now I am sure you are all shocked on multiple levels and are thinking to yourselves "Didn't he die?" Well the answer is obviously No. See the person who died was my stunt double from a movie I was supposed to be starting. See he came here to watch my match against Stacy Jones and sadly fell victim to a attack that was meant for me. Now I am sure you are all wondering why I didn't come out right away and say that it wasn't me who died. Well the police told me that it was a botched hit and that I should stay in hiding just in case they decided to come back after me. Well they just recently found the person who committed that crime and sent him to prison for life. Apparently it was some disgruntled person who lost alot of money betting on me to win that match.

The crowd starts cheering and we can hear some more chants of HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT. Coleman hushes the crowd and begins to speak again

Ryan Coleman: Anyways enough about that. Let's get to the real reason that Ryan Coleman is standing again in this ring that he made his return one year ago. See the reason I am hear tonight is because my beautiful girlfriend Hannah decided to go public with the fact that I Ryan Coleman and indeed Dylan's father not that piece of shit Sean Galen. See even though we were both married all those years ago we weren't receiving the attention we needed back then and found comfort in each other. Finally years later we ran back into each other after we each were divorced and decided to give us a chance and I am happy to say we have been together for about 9 months now. See when we finally got together that is when Hannah decided to tell me about the son I didn't know I had. Now I know I have a past. We all do but I want everyone here and everyone watching backstage and at home to know that I Love Hannah VERY VERY much and I love Dylan too and I am determined to be the best father to him.

Ryan Coleman: You see Galen I am more of a real man than you will ever dream of being. I can be the type of father to Dylan that you couldn't be I can actually be there for him. I can actually take him to little league practice. More importantly I can actually love him like a father should. Your just a washed up angry nobody who has nothing and no one anymore. Look where you attitude and actions got you Sean. Also I can be a better man for Hannah than you could ever be. Now I'm sure everything I have said is gonna piss you off. I'm sure you will try to make a comeback to try to make my life a potential hell but I don't give a shit because I'm better than you so as you would say "fuckouttahere".

Ryan drops the microphone to his side as Hannah smirks at the camera. The two share a kiss as the cameras fade out.

BT:  What a night we are having here tonight!

AJ:  And we're not even done yet!

BT:  Nope, we've still got one more match, and it's a huge one!

AJ:  That's right, it's time for our main event of the evening... hopefully!

BT:  Dade Midvalley is backstage with the NLCW medical team.  They have just conducted a thorough examination of Chris Champion.

AJ:  We'll now join them backstage for the official word.

Dade Midvalley:  Good evening everyone.  I'm standing here with NLCW medic Pavel Suskov.  He has just filled me in with the latest news on Chris Champion's condition.  Mr. Suskov, I believe that you have told me that Chris Champion is able to compete tonight?

Pavel Suskov: Mr. Midvalley, Chris Champion will do no further harm to himself by competing here tonight.  He is not an immediate health risk and competing in tonight's main event does not change that.

DM:  Thank you sir.  Now, I personally do not want Chris competing tonight.  I do not want him in a NLCW ring at all.  I feel that he should be resting comfortably at home.  However, Chris is the number one contender and Chris has repeatedly expressed interest in competing here tonight.  Mr. Suskov, do you believe that Mr. Champion's abilities have been weakened by this latest episode?

PS:  No sir.  He is still slightly groggy, but he has passed all strength and conditioning tasks we have attempted and his hand-eye co-ordination has not been affected.

DM:  Well, if that is true I have no choice but to fully sanction tonight's championship match.  Enjoy everyone!

AJ:  It's official!  The match will take place!

BT:  I've been waiting for the official word all night!

AJ:  As have I.

BT:  These two men have a lot of history with one another.

AJ:  They have traveled up and down the long road together, they have been around the world, they have headlined shows in numerous wrestling organizations.  But their first in-ring encounter in No Limits Championship Wrestling came at Slamfest 10, back in 2006 and the ending to that match was not what either men wanted.

NLCW Slamfest 10
December 31st, 2006 - San Francisco, California

NLCW World Heavyweight Championship
Dominic Pericolo © VS. Chris Champion
Standard Rules

Champion pulls Pericolo to his feet now.

AJ:  I can't believe these two men are still competing!

BT:  They have been through a grueling battle and they just keep going!

Pericolo drives his elbow into Champion's midsection.  Champion is doubled over.  Pericolo grabs him.  Champion shoves him down to the mat.  Chris Champion now runs off of the ropes.  He charges at Pericolo with a running clothesline!  Pericolo sees him coming and he leaps up with a diving clotheslne of his own!

AJ:  Running clothesline by Champion!

BT:  Diving clothesline by Pericolo!

AJ:  Both men are down!

The referee begins to count:
1....
2....
3....
4....

AJ:  Neither man has moved.

BT:  Can you blame them?  Look what they've been through tonight!

The count continues.
5....
6....
7....

BT:  Both men starting to stir now...

AJ:  The referee's count will stop the moment either man gets to his knees.

BT:  The pain these two are feeling must be incredible.

8....
9.....
10!!!

The referee calls for the bell.  The crowd boos.

AJ:  Wow.

BT:  Both men are still down on the mat.  Does that mean?

AJ:  I think it does.

The booing increases as Lucinda Welch makes the official announcement.

LW:  Since neither competitor could answer the referee's ten count, the result of this match is A DRAW.

AJ:  A draw!?  WOW!

BT:  Neither of these guys will be happy with that result, once someone wakes them up that is!

AJ:  And neither man was happy.  Both threatened to walk out of the NLCW due to the result, but cooler heads prevailed and the too faced off once again.

BT:  It was at Sultan of the Squared Circle, the title was on the line once again, except this time there would be a winner.  The match was a School House Brawl!

NLCW Sultan of the Squared Circle
March 17th, 2007 - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

NLCW World Heavyweight Championship
Dominic Pericolo VS. Chris Champion
School House Brawl

Both men are screaming with every strike they throw at each other, blood spattering off to the side with every shot they take, as the match completely degenerates into a brawl, neither man willing to back down. Dominic throws a punch, and Champion catches it in his hand... throwing one of his own, Dominic catches his, and the two get into a test of strength immediately. Dominic, expectedly, is able to overpower Chris quickly... but Champion uses his superior speed to suddenly spring up as Dominic pushes him back towards the wall, planting his feet against the wall and pushing off of it with all his might, taking Dominic down with a very sloppy spear off the wall! Champion rolls off of Pericolo as soon as they hit the ground and pushes himself up to a knee, his blood-covered hand reaching out to push the handle to the exit of the school... but Dominic lets out another scream as he lunges forward from his down position, landing a hard punch into the side of Chris' stomach. Chris hunches over, letting out a wheeze as blood splatters against the glass on the door, Champion hacking as the blood forces its way past his lips.

BT: Christ... Champ's bleeding internally.

AJ: I don't doubt for a second Dominic's right there alongside him, Bryan... this is just hellacious.

Lifting his head, Champion stares up at the ceiling, his eyes glazed over in pain as he starts to fall backwards. He reaches his hand out as his body starts to slump backwards, managing to grab the handle to the door to keep himself from crashing to the ground as Dominic begins pulling himself up with the door beside Chris, the handle slowly pushing in as Dominic looks set to take advantage and win. Slowly, Chris turns his head towards Dominic and stares at him tiredly, his face a mask of blood and pain. Taking deep breaths, Champion steadies himself and lets go of his door, turning his whole body towards Dominic. Dominic, by now, has the door partially open... and he's starting to pull himself up, ready to pull himself out that door... when Champion lets out one final scream of effort, pushing past the burning sensations in his legs and forcing himself to lunge forward with his right leg, completely spearing Dominic away from the doors and sending both men sliding across the floor, away from the doors. Shoving himself off of Dominic, Champion then twists his body around and lunges for the door, but Dominic has hold of his ankle! Champion turns his attention back towards Dominic, who now lays facing him, arm outstretched and hand gripping Chris' ankle. Dominic lifts his head up to stare at Chris, and Chris' eyes harden in determination as Dominic's own widen, his body just not able to react in time for what he knows is coming.

BT: OH SWEET JESUS, WHAT A SHOT!!

AJ: OH MY GOD!!

Champion sends his free leg out as hard as he can, smashing his foot into Dominic's face and forcing Dominic to break the grip on his ankle, collapsing to the ground. Champion doesn't waste time looking back, ignoring his bodies pleading for rest as he fights to his feet and throws his body against the door, swinging it open as he falls to the ground outside the school, the referee finally calling an end to the match!!

BT: HE DID IT! HE DID IT, OH MY GOD!!! CHRIS CHAMPION HAS DEFEATED DOMINIC PERICOLO!!!!

AJ: CHAMPION WINS! CHAMPION IS THE NEW NLCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! OH MY GOD!!!

And the meds are already waiting outside the school. The referee doesn't even take the title from his attendant outside the school to award to Champion, letting the medics pass him by instead to get to the two fallen fighters, neither man moving at this point. In the background, medics with stretchers can be seen rushing to the scene, ready to load both men up onto them and take them off to the hospital. Neither of their limos are present, and Georgina, Cesar and Suki are likely long gone from the school, ordered off by both men... leaving them to stay down, surrounded by meds, unmoving. The atmosphere surrounding the ending is absolutely incredible, as the meds hustle to get both men onto the stretchers, their faces betraying their panic at their situations. The referee looks utterly terrified as he watches on, both men getting loaded onto the stretchers...

AJ: My God... this is, this is absolutely incredible, Bryan. You could call this an end of an era of sorts... as with the end of this match, Dominic takes head of the NLCW and steps out of the ring for who knows how long. I doubt, even if he wasn't taking that position, he'd be back in the ring for a long time after this... and I can't say much better for Champion, either.

BT: This match was everything it needed to be, Aaron... and it's a fitting end for how much these two have gone through. My God, that was... that was incredible.

The meds begin to cart both men off but, incredibly, both Dominic and Chris weakly turn their heads to each other, staring each other down from the stretchers. The meds stop in shock at the both of their movements, and the two reach out to each other, their fists clenched. They touch fists in respect, and the cameras catch the grins on both their faces through the pain and their masks of blood. They're both quickly separated as the meds look to load them both into their respective ambulances, but neither of them lose their grins on their faces the whole way, an almost chilling yet fitting end to the whole ordeal...

AJ: I don't think anyone could have ever expected something like this, Bryan... this was more then anyone could have possibly asked for.

BT: I can't argue with you there, Aaron... this was, quite possibly, one of the most brutal and yet incredible matches I have seen in a very, very, very long time.

AJ:  After that match, neither man thought they would ever face off one-on-one ever again.

BT:  But at this year's Sultan of the Squared Circle, Dominic Pericolo earned the right to face off against the NLCW Undisputed Champion.

AJ:  And he defeated Carmine Vestieri to win that title.  Then, at Conflicting Values: 1NE, Chris Champion was victorious in the 1NE Battle Royal and he became number one contender for Pericolo's championship!

BT:  But it was on Avulsion, the week after Conflicting Values, that Chris Champion made a shocking announcement.

NLCW Avulsion
August 10th, 2009

Chris Champion: My journeys took me to the other side of the globe and to deep, dark places. Whilst abroad, I came into contact with a... substance. A poison. I was injected with a variant of Pancuronium Bromide. This is the same substance that flows through my veins right now.

AJ: Holy shit...

BT: Isn’t that stuff...

Chris Champion: For those of you that aren’t too knowledgeable about toxins, Pancuronium Bromide is the drug used for lethal injections. Basically, I’m a walking time bomb. I don’t know how long I’ve got left, but the only thing I know for certain is that... I am dying.

AJ: Oh my God.

The tears begin to flow down the side of Champion’s face but he quickly brushes them away

AJ:  Obviously that news was shocking to everyone associated with the NLCW.  But to Dominic Pericolo, a man who has known Chris Champion longer than almost anyone, it was heartbreaking.

BT:  And so he wanted to speak to Chris face-to-face the next week on Avulsion.

NLCW Avulsion
August 17th, 2009

Dominic Pericolo: Did... did they really say there's... there's nothing they can do...?

Chris Champion: That's the preliminary diagnosis, yes. I don't care for another one either, Pericolo. I've accepted it. I don't want to get my hopes up waiting for some miracle that's not going to happen. I've at peace with myself. The only thing I want to do is make sure that this place, my home, is in good hands when I depart. I'm terminally ill, Pericolo. Are you listening to me? It's fucking terminal. I know it's hard to accept but... Christ, I can't... I can't keep doing this.

Champion wipes the tears from his eyes and stops for a moment.

Chris Champion: Do you SEE? This is what happens when I stop to THINK about it. It makes it unbearable. Jesus Christ, Pericolo, LOOK at me. I'm withering away. I am dying. There's nothing anyone can do about it. I've had to deal with that for a while now. So do you. However, as your friend, one of your dearest friends on the entire Planet, show me some respect and stop taking pity on me. I have one final request from you and that's that you stop acting like a chick and prepare yourself for this match. I don't know how much longer I've got left, Pericolo, but I'm determined to put every second to good use. You've always been like a brother to me... all I'm asking for is that you let me do this my way.

Dominic lifts his head, his eyes hardening as he takes a deep breath, trying his best to hold back the tears from his own eyes.

Dominic Pericolo: I have one condition, Champion... I'll agree... I'll agree to this on only one condition, you understand? And no matter how much it hurts, understand that I'm not asking you to do this for you, I'm... I'm asking you to do it for the rest of us.

Dominic pauses, wiping at his eyes and bringing his hand down. He lifts his head and locks eyes with Chris, completely serious now.

Dominic Pericolo: After the match is all over... I want you to get another diagnosis, Champion. No matter how much you don't want to... I'm asking you, as your best friend, man... please, get another one. You might not want to hold out hope... but damn it, Chris, we do.

Champion stares at Pericolo hard for a few seconds before shaking his head dramatically. He waves his hand in the air before finally nodding.

Chris Champion: Alright, if that's what it's going to take. I'll do it. It won't make any different, but I'll do it. If that's what you need to finally accept that I'm going to die... fine. We'll play it your way, Pericolo. I just need you in that ring. That's all I ask for.

Dominic Pericolo: Then fine, Chris. I... I don't like this at all, but if it means ensuring that we can get at least a shot  at a breakthrough from this here, then... I'll accept.

AJ:  The next week, the time for talking was over.

BT:  The two men found themselves on opposite sides of a tag team match.  It was the first time they had faced off against each other in years.

AJ:  And Pericolo found it difficult to battle with his ailing friend... at first.

NLCW Avulsion
August 24th, 2009

Dominic Pericolo gets to his feet.  Champion enters the ring and he faces off against Pericolo.  The two men glare at one another.

BT:  This is intense.

Champion takes a step back and raises his arms up, ready for a fight.  Pericolo just stares at him.  Champion now waits a second, and then hits Pericolo with a forearm to the face.  Pericolo stumbles backwards a few steps.  Champion approaches him now.  Pericolo raises his fist, cocks for a punch, but then drops his arm to his side.

AJ:  I think Pericolo is having a difficult time here.

BT:  He's definitely hesitant to hit Champion.

Champion hits Pericolo with another forearm to the face.  Pericolo staggers back against the ropes.  Champion grabs him, Irish whips him across the ring, and clotheslines him down to the mat.  Champion pulls Pericolo up now.  He drops him down to the mat with a DDT.  Champion with a cover now:
1....
2....

AJ:  Kickout by Pericolo!

Champion pulls Pericolo up to his feet.  He swings a punch. Pericolo blocks it.  Champion swings with the other arm.  Pericolo blocks that as well.  Pericolo shoves Champion.  He then tags in Drew Graham.

BT:  Pericolo still hasn't been able to hit Champion!

Graham enters the ring now.  Champion runs at him with a clothesline.  Graham ducks it.  He now hits Champion with a drop kick!  Graham pulls Champion up, and he sends him back down with a German suplex!  Graham with a cover now:
1....
2....

AJ:  The Saint breaks up the pin!

...

BT:  The referee has lost all control of this match!

The Saint and Graham are exchanging punches now!  Chris Champion gets to his feet!  He walks over to Pericolo!  Champion swing a punch.  Pericolo blocks it!  He responds with a punch of his own!

AJ:  Pericolo just hit Champion right in the face!

Pericolo enters the ring now as Champion gets to his feet.  The referee is trying to break up the fight between The Saint and Graham!  The referee threatens to throw the match out if the two don't stop brawling.  They don't listen and the referee calls for the bell!  The crowd boos.

AJ:  The referee has stopped this match!

BT:  He's lost control of it.  It needed to be done!

...

While the Saint and Graham and dragged to the back by officials, Champion and Pericolo are still in the ring.

AJ:  Pericolo and Champion have not moved in minutes.

BT:  They're just staring at one another.

AJ:  This is intense.

The two men do not break their glare.  They stare at each other, neither man flinching.  They say no words. They don't move.  But their glare does not break.

BT:  Wow.

AJ:  We have seen very personal feuds in the NLCW before.  We have seen matches involving family and money and careers.  We have seen friendships ruined and bones broken and blood spilled, but we have never, ever seen a match as personal, as emotional as the one we are about to see.  This is literally life and death.

BT:  Two men, two outstanding athletes, are about to step into the ring against one another in what will be, without a doubt, one of the most dramatic contests we have ever witnessed.

???: This is it...

We fade backstage. A slow transition through a locker room occupied by a single figure sitting beside a small end-table, a phone sitting atop it and lying on its back. The crowd begins to cheer in earnest as the figure shows himself to be the reigning NLCW World Heavyweight Champion, Dominic Pericolo. The phone itself is on speaker, Dominic hunched over and staring off into the distance as the voice on the other line reveals herself to be none other than Suki Pericolo, Dominic's wife.

Suki Pericolo: You're going to be okay, Dominic... you know you can handle this.

Dominic sighs, lifting his hands to his face and running them across it. He cracks his neck on one side, then does it to the other, a small smirk pulling at the side of his lips.

Dominic Pericolo: I know, I... I know, sweetheart.

Turning to the phone, Dominic pulls his long hair from in front of his face and lets a chuckle escape his lips. Lying across the bench by one of his lockers sits his NLCW World Heavyweight Championship Belt, which his eyes fall onto, motivating him to stand. Making his way over to it, Dominic lifts the title, staring down at it, at the reflection of himself he sees in the gold. With the phone still close by, Dominic begins to talk.

Dominic Pericolo: I've always worked hard for this title, I've always found myself pushing harder and harder to prove myself a worthy holder... always wanting to be the hero for those people I know they want me to be. The hero <i>I</i> want to be, the kind you've shown I am for you, Suki... the kind Ehno likely sees me as as well.

The smirk turns to a small smile on Dominic's features, as he reaches down and brushes his hand across the title, a fond look in his eye as he does so. His smile fades slightly as a sigh escapes his lips... the words coming from his mouth next finally showcasing the emotional struggle he's having going into this thing.

Dominic Pericolo: I came back to be a hero for this company, for the place that proved itself a hero to me when the time came for it to do so. Without the NLCW... we'd never be where we are today, we'd never have the financial security we have, the safety as a family we can finally enjoy. It was only possible for me to work things as I did because the NLCW allowed me to, and because those involved even helped me find the security I needed. This place... it's given me my life, Suki, and I... I've had to watch it slowly be drained of its own.

Dominic closes his eyes for a moment, taking a breath and slowly opening them back up. He lets the breath go as he slowly pulls that proud Heavyweight Title around his waist and straps it in tightly. Always the confident, determined warrior... Dominic's eyes do reflect those emotions despite the growing tears within, his love for the NLCW beginning to truly show through. Gritting his teeth, Dominic glares down at the ground.

Dominic Pericolo: This title... it means the world to me, it means representing something great for this company, it means being able to try and push it forward into the prosperity I so desperately want it to reach. It was never about the gold itself, what it represents is tremendous, but... it's the power this gold gives you, and how you in turn <i>use</i> that power to benefit this company... that's what's important.

Dominic turns slowly, making his way back over to the phone and adjusting it on the table slightly before sitting back down beside it, title now strapped firmly around his waist.

Dominic Pericolo: I... know that Chris has always done his best just as I, but... I'm not ready to pass this responsibility off to a man who needs now more than ever to get himself healed up and rested for his future.

Suki Pericolo: Dominic, he won't...

Dominic Pericolo: I know, Suki... I know he won't stop even if he doesn't win this thing tonight. I can still stop him from taking this from me, though... stop him from putting this sort-of burden on his shoulders. I... I can't bear to see Chris do this to himself, and I will do absolutely everything in my power to keep this title out of his hands.

There's a pause, the crowd in the arena is cheering at the words, knowing that tonight, Dominic Pericolo will be pushed to his limits in a way not seen since his last encounter with Champion... in what will surely be one of the greatest matches of the year for NLCW.

The pause passes.

Dominic Pericolo: For all this place has done for me, for all that I owe it... I can't see it kill my best friend. I cannot sit idly by and just let this happen to him. This is more than the NLCW title, this is more than even the NLCW... it's not for my sake, not for the Board's sake, not for anyone else's sake but his... it is for Champion's sake that I have to beat him tonight, Suki... I...

Dominic closes his eyes, his fists clenching slowly as he deals with the words he's speaking, the words he know will have to prove true tonight, beyond anything else.

Dominic Pericolo: I can't let him win. I have to absolutely, beyond any doubt in his mind, beat him without mercy.

Dominic turns towards the phone, reaching his hand over and taking it in his hand. He sighs, closing his eyes, almost reluctant to end the conversation now.

Dominic Pericolo: You and Ehno enjoy yourselves tonight, okay? I'm sure you'll be cheering me on from home... you know, that's really going to help me tonight. I love you, Suki.

Dominic smiles, hearing a small laugh on the other end from his wife as he stands, lifting the phone with him and glancing over to the locker room's exit, just about ready for this match to finally begin.

Suki Pericolo: I love you too, Dominic... now go on, give it everything you have.

Dominic Pericolo: Oh, don't worry Suki... I will.

Dominic lets that confident smirk finally flash across his features, just as the week before... and he presses "END" on the phone, carefully setting it down on the table.. Dominic turns, making his way over to the exit and opening the door, taking a step through it and glancing one last time back at his locker room, chuckling softly to himself before finally closing the door behind him, and the cameras cut to the hall to follow the NLCW Heavyweight Champion on his trek through the hallways.

AJ: This is it, ladies and gentlemen! We're just moments away from tonight's main event, and our champion is on the way!

BT:  And if it wasn't emotional enough out here, Chris Champion's former fiancée Georgina and his only son Cesar seated at ringside.

BT:  Can you imagine what is going through their minds at this very moment?

AJ:  What must they be thinking?

BT:  I can't begin to pretend to understand how that woman and that young child are feeling right now.

AJ: Ladies and gentlemen... this is IT! After a night of incredible matches, we still have one left in store for you all... and if the clashes these two men have had in the past is any indication, this will EASILY be a contendor for match of the year!

BT: A rivalry spanning roughly six years now, Christopher Champion and Dominic Pericolo have gone back and forth since their days BEFORE the NLCW!

AJ: These two men are best friends outside the ring, and have been friends for many years now, but things didn't start off that way between the two... and the competition they bring to each other has always been what's kept this rivalry of theirs alive!

BT: Arguably two of the greatest wrestlers to step foot in an NLCW ring... Christopher Champion is an NLCW Hall of Famer, and Dominic Pericolo is likely on his way to becoming one himself! This kind of match only happens ever-so-often, Aaron!

AJ: Right you are, Bryan... and now, let's take things over to Lucinda Welsch with the introductions for this match!

The cameras transition into the ring, where NLCW In-Ring Announcer Lucinda Welsch stands, the fans erupting into cheers as the bell rings to signify the coming of the main event. Microphone in hand, Lucinda begins her introductions...

LW: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, the following match is your MAIN EVENT of the evening! Scheduled for ONE FALL, it is for the NLCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD!

"CHAMP-EE-ON! DO-MO-NIC! CHAMP-EE-ON! DO-MO-NIC!"

LW: Coming to the ring at this time, the challenger...

The arena suddenly blackens, lit only by a few royal blue spotlights that have gathered on the ramp. Without further hesitation, the NYC mix of DaRude’s “Sandstorm” begins to pick up pace as a huge gust of wind sweeps the entire building.

"C’mon! Are you ready?"

AJ:  Here comes Champion!

BT:  You have to wonder how HE is feeling right now.

AJ:  No matter what it took, Chris Champion wanted to be out here tonight.  He wanted to compete in this match.

A mixture of yellow and blue spotlights span around the arena, all centring around the top of the ramp. The words “Chris Champion” scroll across the NLCW-Tron proudly and the crowd begins to roar triumphantly.

AJ: Listen to these people! They’re going to blow the damn roof off this place!

"CHAMP-EE-ON! CHAMP-EE-ON!"

Suddenly, green and blue fireworks explode at the top of the ramp, filtering down the walkway and meandering towards the ring. As the pyros hit, a familiar figure rises from the smoke at the top of the ramp. It’s Chris Champion and he’s rising from underground elevator into the arena floor.

LW: From MANCHESTER, United Kingdom! Weighing in at two-hundred and twenty-eight pounds... HE IS "THE EDUCATOR"... CHRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSS CHAAAAAAAAMP-IOOOOOOOOOON!!!

BT: They spare no expenses with this guy’s entrance!

Raising his arms over his head and smiling at the crowd, Champion carefully makes his way down the ramp as the music continues to boom out overhead. Making his way around the ring, Champion strides towards the ring steps, climbs them and steps through the ropes calmly. Taking a moment to pose for the fans, Champion climbs the turnbuckle and raises his left hand at snail’s pace for dramatic effect. Failing back from the turnbuckle, Chris makes his way into the centre of the ring and glares at the rampway he'd just came down from with intent.

AJ: Champion focused already... he knows this match is going to do a lot for the NLCW, and he's left no doubts about the fact that he plans to make this thing count!

BT: Likewise, Dominic Pericolo's already made clear that he's not content with letting Champion waltz in and take his title, either... this match must mean the world to both of these men tonight!

LW: And his opponent...

The overhead lights begin to dim, until the arena is drenched in a blanket of darkness, the sounds of the cheering crowd sounding from the darkness as they anticipate what's to come. There's a flicker on the screen, the NLCW logo flashing across it as a low hum sounds from the PA System, followed by the sound of a guitar riff building up with the background sounds of the song, lights beginning to pulse in-time with it. until...

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

A massive explosion rocks the rampway as the entire arena is bathed in a golden light, the mixed sounds of cello and piano playing throughout the arena as the beginning of "Viva La Vida (Instrumental Version)" by Coldplay kicks in, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Already slowly picking up in tempo alongside of the music, the crowd begins to chant "DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!", sparklers falling from the rafters and down in front of the entrance to the ramp, obscuring it from view.

LW: From SACRAMENTO, California! Weighing in at two-hundred and seventy pounds... HE IS YOUR NLCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... DOMINIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC PERIIIIIIIIIICOOOOOOOOLOOOOOOO!!!

A figure can now faintly be seen through the falling sparklers, making his way forward until he eventually steps through them, head lowered. The crowd continues their chants, an aura seemingly surrounding the stage as the man simply stands there for a moment, the music still playing, before he lifts himself up completely, standing straight atop the rampway and thrusting an arm into the air.

Dominic Pericolo lets a confident roar escape his lungs, fireworks go off the sides of the stage and the waterfall-esque sparklers slow to a stop.

AJ: Dominic's looking as confident as he's ever been, Bryan!

BT: A stark contrast to the man we saw just a week ago... Dominic came into tonight's pay-per-view looking better than any of us have seen him in ages! He's sincerely ready for tonight's main event!

A confident grin flashes across his face as Dominic stands before the fans all-too familiar to him, his arm lowering and his eyes fixing towards the ring, a place that has practically been a second home for him all his career. He begins to make his way down to that ring, his stride quick and confident. Along the way, Dominic Pericolo holds his arms out to the side to slap hands with the ringside fans along the way, and the crowd just keeps on chanting.

"DO-MO NIC! DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!"

Circling the ring, Dominic makes his way around it slapping the hands of fans along the way.

Making his way up the steel steps, Dominic pauses to stare out at the fans, a look in his eyes showing the gratitude he has for them, the appreciation he holds for all they've done... Dominic simply nods his head and flashes yet another grin. Entering into the ring, Dominic walks across it towards the other corner, climbing up the corner and lifting a fist into the air for the cheering fans. He steps down off the turnbuckle as his music begins to fade, turning around... and locking eyes with Christopher Champion.

AJ: And in a split second, the tension in this arena just went up about a hundred times from what it was.

BT: I'm getting goosebumps over here, Aaron... you know this match is going to be something special when it's these two involved!

The referee makes his way across the ring, taking the NLCW World Heavyweight Title from Dominic as he hands it to him. He walks across the ring to show it to Champion who, with a smirk, pats the title and checks his reflection in it, taking a moment to pick at his teeth to the laughter of the crowd. Dominic smirks as he watches, shaking his head and turning his focus to the tape on his hands, adjusting them slightly. The referee makes his way back to the center of the ring as Champion gives him one of those "I wasn't finished" looks, garnering more laughter from the crowd.

BT: Classic Chris Champion over there... you know his mind's in the game when he starts trying to screw around with yours.

AJ: Meanwhile, Dominic's just going along with it like it's nothing! These two guys simply can't get into each other's heads all too well like they can with other opponents, if only for the fact that they know each other so well!

BT: I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of back-and-forth here tonight, Aaron... very rarely does a match between these two ever really showcase a true leader between the two of them until the very end!

The referee stands in the middle of the ring and lifts the title into the air, showing it to the cheering fans, before making his way over to the side of the ring to hand it off to a ring technician. He calls the two wrestlers to the center of the ring, exchanging words with them briefly. The crowd is on the edge of their seats with excitement, waiting for the match to begin as Pericolo and Champion reach out to shake each other's hands, their eyes locking as they do, an intense look on the both of their faces. Suddenly, it seems, the time for jokes is over.

AJ: This is it, Bryan... we're just moments away!

The referee separates the two men and sends them to their corners, checking with the ring technicians shortly after to make sure everything is ready. He then glances at the bell keeper, who nods back at him, ready to sound the start of the match. The ref checks again to ensure that Dominic and Champion are ready for the match, both men nodding when asked, before finally... he calls for the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

BT: And here we go!

Both men come out of their corners with their fists raised defensively, never breaking eye contact as they come within a few feet of each other, planning out their first attack. Champion feigns a right hand, but Pericolo doesn't even flinch, concentrating on Chris' every move as Champion smirks, backing a few steps away. He calls for Pericolo to bring it first, but Dominic doesn't budge, still hunched slightly forward with his fists drawn, glaring at Champion. Champion's smirk turns into a frown as he calls for Dominic to come for him again, but Dominic still doesn't budge.

AJ: Dominic knowing Champion too well to fall into a trap like this...

BT: I don't know if it's a trap, Aaron, I think Champion legitimately wants Pericolo to come after him! I think he's trying to draw out Pericolo to get the best of him in this match!

Frustrated, Champion takes a step forward, ready to try and feign another punch, and that's when Pericolo finally takes action. Lunging forward, Pericolo swings a fierce right hand that Champion barely has time to duck, but manages to wrap his arm around Pericolo's torso and try to bring him to the ground with a takedown. Pericolo stands his ground, however, planting his feet and bringing his own arms down to hook around Champion's abdomen, gritting his teeth as he holds his ground. With a roar of effort, Dominic rips Champion off of his feet and onto his shoulder, but Champion, showcasing his own talents in the ring, slides through with the pick-up and lands behind Dominic, swinging a few elbows behind himself to create some distance! Champion turns, looking to continue the punishment, but nearly topples over himself ducking backwards as Dominic pivots around in a flash, nearly hitting the Decapitation in the early-goings of the match!

AJ: WHOAH! I, I...

BT: HOLY SHIT!

AJ: I don't think I've SEEN Dominic throw such a fast kick like that! That was incredible!

Dominic quickly brings his leg back down and protects his center as Champion rushes in for another takedown, this time getting shoved back by Dominic who then comes in close for a clothesline, only to see Champion duck under it and transition behind his long-time friend and rival, hooking his arms around Pericolo and trying to lift him for a German Suplex! Dominic counters, however, and starts throwing a few back elbows of his own, breaking the hold and creating some distance between himself and Chris. Pericolo steps forward and turns himself, keeping distance from his challenger and raising his fists again, watching as Champion hunkers low and does the same, smirking all the while.

BT: Already, seeing some back-and-forth here, just as I predicted!

AJ: To be fair, Bryan... it's not very hard to predict, these two are among the greats of the business, and for as long as they've known each other, anticipating each other's moves probably comes second-nature to them!

BT: Oh yeah?! Well, I... you... I mean-- WHOAH! VICIOUS swinging kick by Champion!

In an instant, Champion closes the distance between the two and swings a kick straight for Dominic's head, Dominic barely having the time to bring his arm up to block it, but still getting rocked by the attack. This time, Champion lunges forward and catches Pericolo with the takedown, the two grappling for position as Champion manages to catch Dominic in a low mount as the champion struggles to break free. Champion sits up to try and reign down a few shots, but Dominic in-turn sits up and drives a surprise headbutt RIGHT into Champion's nose, stunning the challenger and knocking him clean off of Dominic, cursing in pain and clutching at his nose! The crowd erupts into cheers as Dominic scrambles to his feet, watching Chris staggering up and falling into the ropes, checking his nose.

AJ: Dominic not afraid to fight a little dirty here tonight, what a vicious headbutt to the face! Champion never saw that one coming!

BT: The nose is a sensitive place, Aaron! It looks like Champion's got some blood running already!

Smirking, Champion wipes away the small line of blood trickling from his nose as a result of the strike, trying to shake off the after-effects of getting smashed in the face. Dominic smirks right back, wiping what little bit of blood came off onto his forehead from the impact, cracking his neck and for the most part acting nonchalant about the whole thing. This time, almost mocking Chris, Dominic beckons for him to bring it first instead, bringing the crowd on their feet as Champion's smirk only grows wider, the challenger shaking his head in amusement. Taking a step forward, Champion looks ready to set up for a collar-and-elbow tie-up, but Dominic takes his own step forward and swings his leg out, looking for a surprise head-kick! Champion, however, anticipates the move and catches Dominic's leg in the air, positioning himself under it and using his shoulder to push forward against his leg, knocking Dominic off-balance and onto his back!

BT: Excellent counter by Chris Champion, and it looks like he might be setting up for a sharp-shooter or something here!

Champion fights for control of Dominic's other leg, Dominic trying to keep on the move and keep Chris off-balance himself. Finally, however, Champion gets a good hold of Dominic's free leg and hooks it under his arm as well! Now, simply trying to fight his way closer to the ropes, Dominic continues to struggle as Champion works to get his own leg in-between Dominic's. Giving up after several failed tries, Champion simply pulls Dominic back towards the center of the ring, seemingly to try again and keep Dominic from the ropes! The crowd cheers at the struggle, but as Dominic continues trying to resist the sharpshooter, he fails to see Champion's next move coming: cinching Dominic's legs under his arms, Champion falls back and launches Dominic headlong into one of the ring corners, the fans erupting into cheers at the sight!

AJ: WHAT A MOVE! Champion knew Dominic was still too fresh into the match to be trying a submission hold on, so he set him up for a slingshot catapult!

BT: And Dominic is reeling from the move!

Slouched into the corner, Dominic holds at his head in pain, obviously feeling the effects of being sent face-first into the padded steel turnbuckle. Champion pulls himself to his feet and runs up behind Dominic, falling into the corner with a charging elbow to the back of the champion's head! Dominic crumples further into the corner and Champion pulls him back up by his shoulders before grabbing hold of his head from behind, pulling Dominic back and throwing him face-first into the turnbuckle again! Dominic starts to stagger back out of the corner, stunned, but Champion grabs him by the back of his head again and pulls him forward for another head-throw into the turnbuckle, but this time Dominic puts his hands out and catches himself on the ropes, stopping him!

AJ: Dominic, trying to fight back here...

Champion immediately brings his free hand up and lands a few consecutive shots to the midsection of Dominic, weakening the champion before pulling him back to try again. Yet once again, Dominic gets his hands out and stops the attack! This time, Champion pulls back and spikes his elbow down across the center of Dominic's back, dropping him to a knee as the champion continues holding onto the top ropes for support, his knuckles white from the strength of his grip. Champion comes down with a punch to his back this time, looking to weaken Dominic further, when suddenly Dominic uses the support of the ropes to rip himself up as Champion comes down for the punch, throwing his back into the face of Chris Champion and sending the challenger stumbling back, stunned, allowing Dominic to force himself up the rest of the way and turn, creating some breathing room between the two once again!

AJ: Dominic playing it smart there, using the ropes to gather momentum and shove Champion away!

BT: But how long can Dominic keep him at bay, Aaron? Thus far, Champion's been playing a much more calculated match than Dominic, who seems more content simply fighting more defensively than anything else!

AJ: Dominic's gotten in his own fair share of offensive strikes, however... Champion definitely knows better than to under-estimate him in that ring!

Dominic tries to take a step out of the corner only for Champion to come in and attempt a superman punch, which Dominic manages to side-step and drop to a knee on the mat, swinging his free leg out to sweep Champion's as he falls face-first into the corner, much like Dominic had before! Dominic springs up to his feet and throws himself into the corner against Champion soon after, avalanching him in and stunning the challenger, who slumps into the corner from the impact. Rather than pull away, Dominic cinches his arms around Champion's midsection and pulls him from the corner, lifting him into the air and sending him crashing onto the back of his head with a release German Suplex!

AJ: GERMAN SUPLEX! Dominic connects with a move that is sure to leave Champion dazed for awhile there, and what an impressive turn-around for the champion!

Dominic pulls himself back up, but is stunned to see his challenger already scrambling towards the ropes, clearly dazed and confused from the suplex. Dominic starts to take a step forward, but his eyes widen as Champion starts hacking between the ropes, clutching at his chest in pain. The crowd reacts in concern as ring techs immediately come over to check on Champion, who desperately tries to wave them off with his other hand. Dominic makes his way over in concern, kneeling down to check on his friend, when suddenly Champion powers through whatever's happening to him and pushes himself up, twisting himself around and swinging a punch for Dominic as hard as he can, a loud "CRACK!" sounding throughout the arena from the impact as Dominic immediately drops back from the strike, the crowd gasping in shock as Champion, still in pain, falls back into the ropes and continues coughing, Pericolo rolling onto his stomach and clutching at the side of his face in pain.

AJ: My God... Champion is having serious problems out there, but he won't let anyone help him! Pericolo tried to make sure he was okay and just had the holy hell knocked out of him!

BT: Champion threw everything into that punch, Aaron! It looks like he's opened Pericolo up as well!

Sure enough, as the cameras turn to focus on the downed NLCW champion, we see a clear cut across his cheek where Champion punched him, the cut swelling up and bleeding from the strike. Dominic struggles to pull himself up, dazed from the attack, as Champion appears to be recovering from whatever it was that was happening to him. He turns and sees Pericolo pulling himself up against the ropes and, wiping away a bit of blood from his mouth, Champion grits his teeth and charges for his friend, looking to dump him over the ropes! However, Dominic drops to the mat and pulls on the top rope at the last moment, using Champion's momentum to send him tumbling to the outside! The crowd erupts into cheers as Pericolo rolls away from the ropes and pulls himself back up to his feet, stumbling in place a little and reaching up to feel at the cut on his face, wincing in pain.

AJ: That wound does not look pretty, Bryan...

BT: It'll be a good while before the swelling goes down on that one, Champion caught him full-on with that punch, and you can tell!

The referee comes over to check on Dominic, who in-turn grabs the referee by his shirt and pulls him forward, catching the official off-guard! Lifting the referee's shirt up, Dominic wipes the blood from the wound, stunning the referee and sending the crowd into a fit of cheers and laughter as the referee struggles with Dominic to pull away. Dominic finally releases him and tears off some of the wrapping from his fist, carefully putting the tape over the swollen cut. When he's finished, Dominic has a white "X" across his cheek where the cut is covered by it, and, after glaring at the slowly rising Champion on the outside... Dominic begins to untape his fists!

AJ: Oh boy, the tape's coming off now, Bryan... looks like Dominic's planning to up the ante a little!

BT: This doesn't look good for Champion... he's still reeling from his little trip over the top rope!

Leaving a pile of the tape in the middle of the ring, Dominic makes his way over to the ropes, watching Champion all the while. As Champion turns, Dominic grabs hold of the top rope, leaping over-top of it for what appears to be a top-rope dive to the outside! Champion immediately falls out of the way, but Pericolo anticipates the dodge and simply holds onto the rope, landing himself onto the ring apron! Champion staggers back to his feet and turns around, expecting Pericolo to be lying on the ground, only to have Dominic come flying off the ring apron with a flying dropkick right to the face of Champion! The crowd erupts into cheers!

AJ: WHAT A DROPKICK! Champion's been knocked clean off his feet by the attack!

"DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC! DO-MO-NIC!"

Both men stay on the ground for a few moments, Dominic slowly trying to pull himself back up onto his knees as the referee, left inside of the ring, is too preoccupied with getting the ring attendants to bring him a new shirt to begin a ten count! The crowd is loving every moment of it as Dominic reaches his feet and watches Champion, who's beginning to try and reach his own. As Chris gets on his hands and knees, Dominic comes running forward and lands a soccer kick straight to the chest of Chris Champion, managing to lift him off the ground and send him rolling away in intense pain, clutching at his chest and yelling out from the attack. The crowd's cheers falter a little as legit concern sets in for the well-being of Champion once again, but this time Dominic stays on the move, making his way over and grabbing hold of his friend's head, attempting to pull him to his feet.

AJ: Dominic, learning from his mistake last time to let down his guard around an injured Chris Champion...

BT: He just has to keep fighting, Aaron, that's the only choice he has if he expects to beat Chris here tonight!

The match continues on the outside as a ring tech emerges from the back with a new shirt for the referee, who stands impatiently in the ring awaiting it. Dominic pulls Champion fully to his feet and presses a hand to his back, running along with Chris across the front of the ring and looking to throw him into the steel ring-steps, only to have Champion brace himself and force Dominic to a stop, twisting his body back around and bringing his arms up to shove Pericolo back, sending him staggering towards the rampway! The ring tech stops partway down the ramp, watching on nervously as Champion comes charging forward for a clothesline on Dominic, who manages to duck the strike! Champion comes to a stop just in front of the frightened ring technician, the two locking eyes as a look of confusion flashes across Champion's face. Suddenly, his eyes widen as Dominic lands a solid dropkick across his back, sending Chris toppling right on top of the ring tech!

BT: The ring tech distracted Champion! The ring tech distracted Champion!

AJ: Champion let his guard down for a split second after an amazing counter against Dominic, and it was all the champion needed to send him back to the ground!

Inside of the ring, the referee is livid, his shirt visibly stained with an obscene amount of blood as he finally decides to begin the ten count out of sheer frustration. Dominic pulls himself up and glances back at the referee, hearing the start of the count. An annoyed expression crosses Dominic's face as he turns to the crumpled pile of ring tech and Chris Champion, and he grabs the fresh refree shirt from the pile, throwing it towards the ring. The referee stops the count to catch the shirt, looking confused as Dominic then turns and pulls Chris back to his feet again, only to have Champion land a few solid elbow-shots to the midsection!

AJ: Dominic, stopping the referee's count there with-- and I can't believe I'm actually saying this-- a t-shirt.

BT: He paid the price though, Aaron! It was enough time for Champion to recover!

Champion continues to throw back elbows to the midsection of Dominic, eventually sending the champion stumbling backwards. Turning, Chris runs headlong towards Dominic and leaps into the air, catching him around his head and pulling him down into a running neckbreaker! Against all odds, Champion continues to mount a comeback!

"CHAMP-EE-ON! CHAMP-EE-ON! CHAMP-EE-ON!"

AJ: Champion refuses to quit, what an amazing match this has been!

BT: The referee's finally changed his shirt... geeze, look at all the blood on that other one! Champion really got Pericolo good earlier!

AJ: And he's continuing his assault on Dominic now, laying in strikes to the same area!

True to Aaron's words, Champion continues raining down punches onto the gash on Dominic's cheek, but Dominic manages to lift his hand to cover the wound, where blood is visibly seeping through the tape on it and spilling out the sides, running down the side of Dominic's face. Champion rears back to deliver another hard strike to the face, but this time Dominic sits up and reaches for Champion's forearm, taking hold of it in a tight grip and suddenly curling his body in slightly, bringing his legs up and wrapping them around Champion's arm and his head! Champion's eyes widen in realization and familiarity to what Dominic is setting up for and he immediately tries to pull back, but Dominic uses his size to his advantage and manages to finish the hold, cinching it in!

AJ: TRIANGLE CHOKE! TRIANGLE CHOKE! DOMINIC'S APPLIED A TRIANGLE CHOKE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!

The referee, having no other option, immediately begins a ten-count in hopes to break up the hold and get the fight back inside the ring. The fans are going absolutely livid as Champion thrashes in the hold, trying everything he can to ease the pressure of the hold, but it's clear he's passing out quickly as Dominic's face reddens from the strength he's having to use to keep the hold cinched in. When the referee's count reaches five, Pericolo releases the hold finally, allowing Chris to fall back to the ground, seemingly motionless from the struggle. Pericolo pulls himself up and takes hold of the limp form of Champion, rolling him into the ring and making his way over to the steel ring steps, walking up them and onto the top turnbuckle, just as the referee's count reached nine!

AJ: Pericolo managing to get himself back in the ring and up top, and Champion's still not moving!

BT: That triangle choke may well have knocked Chris out! I'm amazed, Dominic pulled that thing out of nowhere!

Steadying himself up top, Dominic keeps an eye on the still-motionless Champion, before taking to the air for a frog splash! The fans hold their breath as Pericolo flies through the air... and lands directly on top of Champion's lifted knees!

AJ: CHAMPION GETS THE KNEES UP!

BT: HOW IS HE STILL FIGHTING?!

Dominic's body bounces off of Champion's who, for his part, still absorbs a great deal of the impact. He rolls over onto his knees, forehead pressed against the mat as he breathes heavily, a small pool of blood beginning to form underneath his face from his nose, as just a few feet away Dominic clutches at his ribs in pain, the tape across the side of his face hanging uselessly from his skin, most of its stickiness taken away from the blood that has caked itself against the tape and Dominic's wound!

BT: Both men are completely exhausted out there, they've been going full-steam this entire match! I don't think either has let up for a second, Aaron!

AJ: In a match for the NLCW World Heavyweight Championship, they have no choice but to go all-out, Bryan!

Hacking up a bit of blood, Champion wipes at his mouth and slowly pulls himself to his feet, the lower half of his face stained with the blood pouring from his nose. He staggers in place a little and turns to glance over at Dominic, who's beginning to try and pull himself up in the corner. Taking a deep breath, Champion hunkers down and prepares to charge in and, as Dominic turns, he bolts towards the champion, looking for an avalanche!

AJ: Champion going f-- DECAPITATION! DECAPITATION!!!

BT: HOLY SHIT, DOMINIC HIT IT OUT OF NOWHERE!

In a flash, Dominic throws his leg up and catches Champion beautifully under the chin in his approach, lifting Champion off his feet and sending him straight to the mat in a crumpled position, the impact of Dominic's signature move apparent on both men as Dominic collapses back into the corner, breathing heavily. Champion, meanwhile, lies in a heap on the ground, seemingly unconscious as Dominic finally pushes himself from the corner, falling on top of his old friend and rival as the referee comes in for the pin...

ONE...

TWO...

TH-- NO! FOOT ON THE ROPES!

BT: Champion got his foot on the bottom rope! My God, he didn't have the strength to kick out, Aaron, but he still had the presence of mind to pull THAT off!

AJ: I don't believe it! Champion is STILL in this thing!

Dominic rolls off of Chris and towards the middle of the ring, lying on his back and staring up at the rafters in exhaustion. Back in the corner, Champion is only beginning to stir as the referee checks to make sure he's even still 100% coherent, but Champion waves him weakly away and turns himself over, looking to pull himself up using the ring ropes. Gritting his teeth, Dominic sits up in the middle of the ring, curling his legs in and propping his arm up on his knee, watching Champion begin to stand with a slight smirk on his face, breathing heavily.

BT: You got to wonder what's going through Dominic's head right now... he's hit Champion with his signature kick and the man just keeps on coming!

AJ: Consistently, Bryan, Chris Champion has been the only wrestler in the NLCW who has been able to match Dominic tit-for-tat in the amount of punishment he can take while still fighting.

BT: This match has been going on for just over half an hour thus far, Aaron... these men have GOT to be running out of reserves by now!

AJ: These men are some of the greatest wrestlers the NLCW has ever had! If there's anyone around here that can go the distance in a match like this, it's these two!

Dominic pulls himself up and makes his way over to the still-rising Champion, pulling him up the rest of the way and irish-whipping him across the ring. Off the rebound, Dominic looks to catch Champion with a big boot, but Champion ducks under the attack and stops himself in his tracks, twisting his body around and delivering an incredible looking reverse roundhouse to the side of Dominic's head, dropping the champion right in his place and sending Champion toppling forward from the impact, the challenger obviously too tired to properly catch himself after succeeding in the attack.

AJ: WHAT A KICK! I, my GOD, Champion with a spectacular kick there! I had no idea he could do something like that!

BT: I don't think Champion realized it either, Aaron! He was acting purely on instinct!

Crawling towards the turnbuckle, Champion pulls himself up into the corner and then proceeds to go up to the top rope, the crowd rising in volume as he does so, the cameras picking up a good chunk of the audience standing up and watching as Champion stands completely atop the turnbuckle, panting heavily but signalling for something he only rarely ever goes for...

BT: Oh no...

AJ: CHAMPION'S GOING FOR THE FLYING ELBOW DROP!!!

Turning himself towards Dominic, Champion sizes him up and takes a deep breath, before LEAPING off the top rope and taking to the air, flying straight for the motionless Dominic Pericolo, arm outstretched for the elbow drop, and...

AJ: ... HE HIT IT! HE HIT IT!!

BT: I DON'T BELIEVE IT, AARON! CHAMPION HIT THE ELBOW ON DOMINIC!

Staying rested on Dominic, Champion seems almost too tired to move at this point as he makes the cover, the crowd on their feet and roaring with cheers!

ONE...

AJ: Is this it?!

TWO...

BT: DOMINIC ISN'T MOVING!!

THRE-- NO! DOMINIC KICKS OUT!!!

AJ: DOMINIC'S STILL IN THIS THING!!!

BT: NO! NO! HE HIT THE ELBOW, DAMN IT!

The crowd is absolutely livid at this point, screaming their lungs out as the entire arena is on their feet, cheering the two men on. Champion, a look of exhaustion and disbelief on his face, simply rolls off of Dominic and pulls himself over to the ropes, Dominic himself still lying motionless on the mat after using a good bit of energy just kicking out after the attack. Glancing back at Dominic, Champion runs his hand across his forehead to wipe the sweat off, squinting at him in concentration. Finally, deciding enough is enough... Champion signals for the end!

AJ: Champion's calling it now, Bryan! It looks like school might just be out for Dominic!

BT: My God, Aaron... I'm exhausted calling this thing...

Dominic begins to slowly pull himself up again, the crowd cheering on as Champion pulls himself back up as well, making his way over to the still-dazed Dominic. Champion pulls him up the rest of the way and pushes him back up against the ropes, using them like a spring to send Dominic running across to the other side. Off the rebound, Champion prepares to go for his finisher... but Dominic pivots his body and goes for the Decapitation! Scouting the move this time, Champion ducks the attack and gets behind Pericolo, who turns and brings a knee up into Champion's gut when he comes forward for a grapple, knocking the wind out of him! Staggering back and turning towards the ropes, Champion tries to fall into them... but Dominic lunges behind him and locks in a kata-hajime!!!

AJ: FADE TO BLACK! DOMINIC'S LOCKED IN THE FADE TO BLACK!!

BT: BUT LOOK AT CHAMPION!

Out of sheer desperation, Champion leaps into the air in the middle of the hold and stretches out his legs, wrapping them around the top rope as best as he can! Dominic is thrown off balance by the sudden move, and finds himself holding Champion in the hold in mid-air, Champion's legs wrapped around the ropes and thus forcing the referee to come in to try and break the hold! Cursing to himself, Dominic roughly drops Champion to the mat and goes to try and stomp on him shortly after, but Champion releases his hold on the ropes and rolls to the side, scrambling backwards and back to his feet! Dominic, still on the offensive, practically chases Champion down and swings for a punch at the same time as Chris, who out of desperation swings a punch of his own, both men connecting at the same time! No hesitation from either men, they both begin to swing wildly for each other, the crowd going absolutely insane as both men swing wild punches and strikes for each other, trying their best to bring the other down!

AJ: CHAMPION AND DOMINIC ARE GOING ALL OUT HERE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! MY GOD, WHAT A MATCH! WHAT A MATCH!

BT: Lefts and rights and lefts and rights... they are REFUSING to stop swinging, Aaron! And just listen to these fans!

"CHAMP-EE-ON! DO-MO-NIC! CHAMP-EE-ON! DO-MO-NIC!"

Champion, the more desperate of the two, starts swinging faster and faster, backing Dominic towards the center of the ring with his attacks and giving himself a little breathing room from the corner. At this point, Dominic's switched from offense to pure defense, doing whatever he can to block the shots Champion is throwing. Champion, letting out a roar of effort, lunges forward for a HUGE haymaker... but Dominic catches the punch! Gritting his teeth, Dominic brings both hands up and gets a tight grip on Champion's wrist, twisting his arm around and turning his body, pressing his back against Champion's side and pulling his arm over, looking for a take-down! Champion flips over Dominic and hits the mat hard, and Dominic looks to go for an armbar in the center of the ring!

AJ: Dominic going for an armbar! This could be it, Bryan, he might try to submit Champion!

BT: But Champion won't stop fighting it!

Champion thrashes around as much as he can, using all the strength left in him to try and pull himself free of Dominic. Dominic, in turn, uses one of his outstretched legs to try and kick at Champion's face, managing to catch enough strikes in that it further mangles Champion's nose, blood simply pouring out at this point from both men's wounds, but Champion's gradually growing worse with every strike. Finally, against the odds, Champion manages to wriggle his arm free of Dominic's grip and immediately begins rolling away, leaving Dominic stunned on his back as Champion clutches at his shoulder in pain, trying all he can to ignore the pulsing pain in the center of his face. Gritting his teeth, Dominic begins to pull himself up as well, shaking his head in disbelief.

AJ: Champion gets away again! Is there ANYTHING either of these men could possibly do to keep the other down?!

Champion slowly struggles to his knees as Dominic reaches his feet, watching Champion carefully. As soon as Champion reaches a knee Dominic comes charging in, looking for the Decapitation again... but Champion pushes off his feet and lunges forward, looking to try and use Dominic's momentum to lift him into the air! Dominic stands his ground, however, forcing Champion's head under and between his legs, fighting with him for a moment before hooking both his arms and forcing Champion up vertically into the air! There's a pause as Dominic roars from the effort and lifts himself up slightly, before dropping Champion with...

AJ: CURE FOR CANCER! DOMINIC'S HIT THE CURE FOR CANCER!!!

BT: THIS COULD BE IT, AARON! HE HIT THAT OUT OF NOWHERE, AND CHAMPION IS OUT COLD!

Champion collapses onto the mat and rolls over onto his back, eyes closed and unmoving as Dominic lists to the side, falling on his own back and staring up at the rafters in exhaustion. Summoning up as much strength as he can, however, he rolls himself over and, with the crowd cheering on and going absolutely insane, he manages to go for the cover!

AJ: COULD THIS BE IT?!

THRE-- NO! CHAMPION SOMEHOW KICKS OUT!!!

AJ/BT: WHAT?!

The cheers from the crowd hit a fevered pitch, many of the fans visibly exhausted by the exchange between these two legends. Dominic himself actually rolls off of Champion and sits up, glancing over at the referee in sheer astonishment before looking back over at Champion again, shaking his head in disbelief. Gritting his teeth, Dominic tries to shake off everything in his body begging for rest, pulling himself up to his feet once again and signalling for the end once and for all. He staggers over to the downed Champion, reaching down and pulling him slowly up to his feet. By the time Champion reaches a knee, however, he propels himself up with his legs and swings a HUGE right hand into the injured cheek of Dominic Pericolo, sending the champion staggering back and clutching at the wound! Champion immediately runs up behind him and attempts to scoop him up onto his shoulders, looking to lock in the Final Examination!!

BT: HE'S GOING TO DO IT, AARON! SOMEHOW, CHAMPION IS STILL FIGHTING!

AJ: THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, HOW ARE THEY STILL FIGHTING?!

Champion seems to struggle to keep a decent hold on Dominic, however... who manages to finally break free from the hold and slide down Champion's back, falling onto his feet behind him! Both men turn around and Dominic, as quickly as he can, brings a knee up into Champion's gut! Champion staggers backwards from the attack and Dominic steps forward, but out of desperation, Champion lunges through the pain and attempts a clothesline takedown! Dominic ducks under the attack, however, and spins around faster than Champion can react, forcefully scooping him up onto his shoulders! Almost the entire arena is standing now, watching in awe and cheering as loudly as they can as Dominic pivots slightly and then throws Champion forward and away from him, before catching him by the head, pulling him back in in midair, and dropping him with...

AJ: END OF EXISTENCE! END OF EXISTENCE! DOMINIC PERICOLO HIT IT!!!

BT: THAT HAS GOT TO BE IT, AARON!!

This time, Dominic forces himself back up through the pain and throws himself on top of Champion, going for the cover almost immediately as the fans in the arena count along with the referee...

THREE!!!

AJ: HE DID IT! HE DID IT! HE DIT IT!!!!

BT: DOMINIC PERICOLO HAS SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED HIS NLCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! HE HAS FINALLY DEFEATED CHRISTOPHER CHAMPION!!!

The bell rings and the crowd absolutely goes nuts, erupting into chants for both men as Lucinda Welsch re-enters the ring, a ring technician handing off the title to the referee who, in turn, makes his way over to the downed Dominic Pericolo, placing the title across his chest...

LW: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR WINNER... AND STILL NLCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.... DOMINIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC PERIIIIIIIIIIIIICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

AJ: THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! WHAT A MATCH, BRYAN! WHAT A MATCH!!!

"CHAMP-EE-ON! DO-MO-NIC! CHAMP-EE-ON! DO-MO-NIC!"

BT: This was absolutely AMAZING! Dominic Pericolo finally overcomes Chris Champion for the first time in YEARS, retains his World Title, and alongside of Champion has put on probably one of the GREATEST matches in NLCW history! Just completely INCREDIBLE, what a match!

In the midst of the ring, Dominic and Chris are only beginning to recover, EMTs coming down to the ring in order to assist both men. However, before they reach it, Pericolo and Champion have already pulled themselves back to their knees at least, and are staring across the few feet that separates them from each other. Even through the pain, even through the defeat... Champion can't help but smirk at his best friend, his arm shaking as he places all his weight on it to reach his hand out, Dominic doing the same and taking his hand to shake it, the crowd absolutely going nuts.

AJ: What a sight, Bryan... even after such an incredibly grueling match, even after putting each other through everything they possibly have... these two men still have enough left in them to shake hands and even try to pull themselves back up to their feet!

BT: We're witnessing two of the greatest wrestlers the world has ever seen, Aaron... and they have done an amazing job at representing the NLCW here tonight.

Indeed, both men have already reached their feet once again, but are taken by the EMTs to their respective stretchers, the crowd roaring with cheers the entire time. The cameras focus on the two as Dominic fights the EMTs a little to raise the title in the air for the fans, Champion watching on and laughing at the sight. The two finally get loaded in, as we hear the final words from our announce team for the night...

AJ: Ladies and gentlemen, that's all the time we have for tonight, and what an amazing way to cap off an amazing event! On behalf of all the staff on-hand here tonight, and all the wrestlers who have put so much heart and dedication into making this night the best it can be, we'd like to thank you for tuning in! I'm Aaron Jennings...

BT: And I'm Bryan Terwilliger!

AJ: Good night, everyone, and thank you for watching!
